Tsuzuru can knit. And sew. How does Mankai company know this? Because apparently, his siblings back home wear his creations practically on a daily basis; blame the faulty speaker on his cellphone for this revelation. As can be imagined, Yuki was thrilled to have someone else in the dorms who could fix those darn holes in everyone’s costumes! Tsuzuru perhaps less so, although it did mean he had something other than a perpetual annoyance with their more free-spirited dormmates he could share with the younger boy... Yuki always had the best tips on fabrics and designs so he supposed now his brothers could afford to look a little more fashionable.

Muku, Hisoka and Misumi might be considered the resident ‘cat whisperers’ of Mankai, but Tsuzuru all too often finds himself inexplicably surrounded by mewling kittens sliding around his ankles and begging for affection; He says has no idea why! He may or may not have begun to set out little dishes of tuna, though...

The Spring troupe hasn’t always been so close together, even if they don’t always seem like it now. One thing that helped to repair the fractures between them when things got rough was definitely Tsuzuru’s ‘movie nights’ (now attended also by members of the other troupes, Izumi and Matsukawa, when they could make the time). Its purpose is mostly utility by now, Tsuzuru needs inspiration for his plays, but... First to join was Masumi, who silently padded in, uninvited, ignored Tsuzuru and fixed his eyes to the TV screen without a word. It only remained so quiet until the rest of the Spring troupe (even Itaru, although he did bring his phone in with him), came barging into the living room in search of the boy. At first it was more irritating to him than anything else, but a few good movies and smuggled snacks earlier, Tsuzuru cast his eyes over the sleeping forms of the people he’d be sharing a stage with, and realised he’d enjoyed it. In fact, he realised that, without noticing, he’d been seeing them in the same light he saw his own family back home. Maybe he didn’t always appreciate their antics, but that didn’t mean he didn’t feel a growing sense of comraderie toward all of them. That night, Tsuzuru fell asleep with a smile on his face.
