You know what? I’m gonna compile a list of UTDR/UTMV artists to avoid, because I am sick and tired of finding an artist I like, but then discovering that they’re proship, or glorify/romanticize harmful things, or use slurs they can’t reclaim, or defend other bad people; the list of reasons goes on and on.

So, anyone who sees this, pease give me any people you can think of that should be added to this list, with explanations and proof (such as links to offending posts). I want to at least try to make this community a bit more navigable for those of us who want to avoid all of this crap.

And if you don’t know if anyone who hasn’t already been mentioned, please rb so we can spread this and have a more complete list!

Under the cut is all the artists I can think of right now to add (I know of more but my mind is kinda frazzled rn)

Camila Cuevas (Glitchtale Creator) - slurs she can’t reclaim (r-slur especially), enbyphobia, defending a groomer

Thegreatrouge (PJ’s Daycare creator) - Proship and a whole lot more I don’t remember at the moment

Zu-is-here - Proship; makes dreammare art

Skumhu (Leviathantale Creator) - Proship; makes dreammare art

flamingbiscuit - proship (note - they have left the internet and said they have realized it was wrong and are getting therapy)

Galacii-gallery (Shattered!Dream Creator) - proship

Nekophy (Goth creator) - proship

adding onto this more, proshipping is also seen as people condoning all ships, including the problematic ones that k has listed. we made this account specifically to help people that have proshippers in their dni on who to avoid, and to help people be aware of problematic/dangerous people in the utmv fandom.

also, for more information, some proshippers label themselves as “neutrals”, which is the condoning part but not the shipping part ^^ they still count as proshippers, and i would suggest not interacting with them either if any of you have proshippers in your dni

what is exactly a proshipper and other such? I sort of struggle trying to understand these such, whenever I try it slides off my smooth brain. I want to understand so I can avoid those ships whenever I see them on my page.

the rough definition of proship + pro/com/darkshipperz is basically people who ship or a ship in which it might be seen as problematic or even illegal as such, and it can include incest, large age gapz, etc.

it is often used as a “coping mechanism” and i personally suggest to avoid anyone who considerz themselvez a proshipper.
