kaz brekker became wealthy. he’s smart, he always could do it. but what he could never do was allow himself to be a mourner. he wanted to be a better man for inej right so he had to fix his problems, and by doing so he allowed himself to mourn. for jordie. he built a grave for him, in the countryside where’s he’s from. and every now and then he visits him, talks to him sometimes. wylan thought kaz would mock him in ck for grieving for his mom but really kaz just goes to jordie’s grave and he grieves too. when inej returns he’s worked out his issues and they live together ever after that’s the end of the story goodnight kids hoped you liked the lil bed time story

« kanej death trope » shut the fuck up what if they and hear me out. they don’t die. eventually they find their ways towards each other. they went « we have things to deal with like missions to complete let’s do that and let each other go if we don’t find each other again then this is it but if we do let’s promise to love each other always » (wow this is pretty fucking corny but you get my point) like can’t they just eventually find each other five to seven years later kaz is ready to say bye to his armour inej is just as strong as she was before we love you inej and they just get together. they either get on a boat and hunt slavers together bc i fully support this go inej or inej has ended slavery everywhere (bc that’s the point of the mission and she can’t just let it go that wouldn’t be fair) and they settle down somewhere quiet and they get old together and they do die but like old. i want that for them

i feel like we are not focusing on show kanej enough bc i love book kanej book kanej is my absolute favourite but i don’t think the show did a bad job at showing how precious their relationship is. in the books we start off w inej’s pov she’s already killed ppl before. in the show we start off w inej who refuses to kill and then in order to save kaz’s life she kills for the first time in the (??) chapel. they would and have killed for each other but the fact that her very first kill was to save kaz’s life is really dear to me. also « pekka rollins killed my brother » « then we destroy him » idk they’re so badass i love robbery and fraud im a shoplifting god they’re so evil energy let’s fix our problems by killing the ppl who annoy us. also kaz in the first season isn’t like book kaz he’s actually giving her signs and idk i think it’s precious when for instance he says « then maybe you stay here » and she goes and then when rollins’ men show up he thinks it’s inej and hes ab to like apologise ?? i don’t know i think it’s precious. they’d do anything for each other, they’re like connected.
