celebacy [part 1]

puns, amaright? a sims 4 legacy challenge for ur sims that wanna Get Famous™

ok hi!!! lets get started! this legacy challenge is made 4 my darling @foursims ♥

you need: the Get Famous EP

if you’re unsure of how the celebrity system works, a quick google will explain it all. it’s pretty important in this challenge! your goal in every gen is to maintain at least some sort of celebrity level and utilize the perks to your advantage. 

all rules and goals are not there to restrict your game play, only to enhance it. if you decide to add rules/goals to make it harder or to ignore them to make it easier/more enjoyable, please do - you don’t have to ask me permission lol! 

as mentioned, this is only part 1. i didn’t want to write a full 10 generation challenge because i wanted to test out 5 generations using the celebrity system first, as i’m not sure if it will become too boring or repetitive. there are still things i can include that increase fame so more gens may be made if you want them!

Gen 1: Ramsey 

you start this challenge as a teen.

you’ve recently just dropped out of university/college where you were studying cooking. education just wasn’t for you, and lets face it, you’re actually a pretty shit cook. you blamed your teachers for this; you say they weren’t any good! your parents didn’t believe you and disapproved of your decision to leave school. so you’re out on your own in the world! you decide to move to the Hollywood of sims in order to prove to your teachers and most importantly your family, that you will be the best and youngest chef!

traits: gloomy, foodie, hot headed

aspiration: master chef

your goals:

- get to level 10 cooking + gourmet cooking - get to at least level 5 baking - reach level 10 in the cooking career (food branch) - once you have maxed out your career (or feel you can do it during), you must buy and own a restaurant and have it reach at least 4 stars  - marry a co-worker. having the foodie trait also is a bonus!! - have 2 children - write at least 1 cook book - increase your celebrity level passively by posting on social media and visiting clubs ect.

Gen 2: Hepburn 

you were the popular girl/boy in school and lets be honest, you loved it. you were always picked first, always had a flock of sims crushing after you, and everyone wanted to be your friend. this increased your ego, and it followed you into later life.

complete the social butterfly aspiration as a child

traits: self-absorbed, outgoing, ambitious

aspiration: master actor 

your goals: 

- get to level 10 acting + charisma - get to at least level 5 comedy + dancing - marry another celebrity (no one less than your own celeb level) - reach maximum celebrity level (positive)  - have 5 children!!!!! - reach at least 50,000 followers on social media - reach level 10 of the acting career (your choice of producers ect.) - have an affair once all your children are born. keep this a secret forever… unless the paparazi catch you ;)  - win at least 2 award nights - become best friends with olivia and judith (the townies) + make a club with them

Gen 3: King

you were always in the spotlight, and you hated it. everyone wanted to be your friend because of your money and parents. all you wanted to do was be alone and read.

traits: non-committal, loner, bookworm

aspiration: best selling author 

your goals:

- reach level 10 writing + logic - reach at least level 5 in gardening  - reach level 10 writing career (author path) and then quit - basically all you do is write lols - marry for a little while - have 1 child (OR twins) - divorce when you reach adulthood - have an average friendship with your children, you aren’t that close 

Gen 4: Gogh

you didn’t really have the best relationship with your parents and you were made fun of at school because your parents were divorced. you turned to the only thing that really made you happy: painting and drawing

traits: unflirty, creative, good

aspiration: painter extraordinaire

your goals: 

- meet the love of your life in high school but don’t profess your love till nearly adulthood - start drawing as a child  - reach level 10 painting + parenting  - create at least 20 masterpieces in your lifetime  -  reach at least level 5 photography  - run your own art gallery once in adulthood  - have 3 children at least  - always be loyal to your partner - be best friends with all of your children

Gen 5: Rupaul

you had the best upbringing and had everything you ever asked for. you were surrounded by art as a child, and this flowed into your adult life with the need to be colorful and fashionable in every occasion. 

traits: perfectionist, neat, insider 

aspiration: friend of the world

your goals:

- reach level 10 of the style influence career (either branch)  - maintain your celebrity profile by posting makeup and fashion videos  - fangirl over real celebs a LOT - run a club thats to do with art and fashion! (And probably gossiping) - reach level 10 media production  - reach at least level 5 of mixology skill + charisma + comedy  - throw weekly parties and always attempt to invite the biggest celebrity you know. you win once they attend - have at least 5 relationships over teen - young adult - marry the second person you dated once you hit adulthood  - have as many children as you want!

The Astrology Legacy

This is a legacy where each generation is inspired by the twelve astrological signs. This legacy can be played as a Vanilla, Banilla, or Berry Sweet save depending on your play style preferences. Each generation has colors associated with it that need to be incorporated in some fashion, whether that be the color scheme for your sims home, wardrobe, or the sim themselves. In parenthesis I have added suggested colors from my palette.

Unlike most legacy challenges, in this one you may start with any of the signs, but the generations must remain in the same order (for example, if you start with Virgo then the Libra generation must come after, followed by Scorpio, ect. and the challenge would end at the end of the Leo generation. Aries would come after Pisces so imagine these in a loop instead of a line). Depending what sign you choose to start with you may want to start with your founder as an age younger than YA.

Veggie Farmer Challenge !

Hi to all of you simmers!

Today I come with a new sims 4 challenge which I have created for my own amusement. I think you may all enjoy it as well, so I have decided to share it with you.

Summary

It is a 5 generation challenge. Your sims are all farmers who are obsessed with a specific vegetable and its colour and must spend their lives growing it and living off the land.

Instructions

Create a young adult sim (male or female).

Lifespan must be normal

Seasons must be default (7 days)

Remember to turn on aging

Your sim and heirs must complete their aspiration before death.

Your sims CANNOT have a job.

You can ONLY earn money through their veggie crops.

Your first sim and heirs must master the following skills: wellness, gardening and another one (specified in the generations)

Generation 1: Green

You love green so much! You are a poor sim who has just had a very rough childhood. Orphaned by birth, you have spent your life living in an awful orphanage and having no friends or goals at all. Now, you have reached adulthood and you wish to finally put those bad memories away.

You dream of starting a new life and family but you have 0 money funds and no skills at all. But what is the only thing you really love? Veggies. Unlike other kids, you have always loved them, especially the green ones. So, with that in mind you have decided to begin your own farm and legacy.

TRAITS (choose 3): Materialistic, squeamish, vegetarian, jealous

ASPIRATION: Freelance Botanist

VEGGIE (choose only 1): Bell Pepper, Green bean, Spinach, Green peas

ANIMAL (your sim must have one or more and keep it until your sims’ death): Green Frog

Instructions

Have a female/male young adult sim.

Buy an empty lot

Delete your money to 0 funds (you may cheat for that)

Complete your aspiration

Master wellness, gardening and fitness skills

Have three children (one of them will be the next gen heir) with similar traits and same aspiration of the parent

Marry someone (you cannot earn money by doing that) and become best friends

Earn money through veggie crops

Build a decent house with a big garden before you die (when you have earned enough money)

Gen 2: Orange

You love orange! You have had a happy childhood surrounded by your parents and siblings. You have known motherly love. But somehow you have always been different. You have never loved green veggies that much or even green colour. Once you have reached adulthood, you have moved out of town and decided to set your own veggie farm and enjoy what you really love: Orange veggies.

TRAITS (choose 3): Glutton, Bro, good, outgoing

ASPIRATION: Soulmate aspiration

VEGGIE : Carrots

ANIMAL (your sim must have one or more and keep it until your sims’ death): orange cat or hamster

Instructions

Buy a new empty lot for your orange sim

Begin with some items in your inventory from your previous household (memories and her own childhood objects and furniture) and 1,000 simoleons (you may cheat for that) as if their parent lend it to her/him.

Complete your aspiration

Master wellness, gardening and cooking skills

Have two children (one of them will be the next gen heir) with similar traits and same aspiration of the parent

Marry someone (you cannot earn money by doing that)

Have two close friends (non family members)

Earn money through veggie crops

Build a decent house with a big kitchen before you die (when you have earned enough money)

Gen 3: Black

You love black! You are the black sheep of your family and you have always been regarded as the bad sibling. You felt kind of lonely in your house and you have decided to move and start a life of your own. Besides, you hate carrots! Since the farming business is in your genes and you love black, you have decided to continue the legacy but with a slighty difference: black beans!

TRAITS (choose 3): Geek, kleptomaniac, slob, evil

ASPIRATION: Chief of Mischief

VEGGIE : black beans

ANIMAL (your sim must have one or more and keep it until your sims’ death): black dog or cat

Instructions

Buy a new empty lot for your black sim

Begin with no objects in your inventory but a game console or computer and 5,000 simoleons (you stole them from your parents)

Become enemies with your sibling

Since you hate family life, don’t you ever get married.

Have one child (an unfortunate accident) but never really care about him/her.

Have several romantic relations but none close.

Complete your aspiration

Master wellness, gardening and gaming skills

Earn money through veggie crops

Build a decent house with a big gamer room before you die (when you have earned enough money)

Gen 4: Yellow

Yellow is your life! You have never been close to your black parent and you feel hurt by it. Luckily your other parent has always been there for you.

Now that you have grown up, you have decided to move and start life anew, bringing your beloved daddy with you and continuing the legacy.

TRAITS (choose 3): clumsy, ambitious, loner.

ASPIRATION: Super Parent 

VEGGIE : potatoes

ANIMAL (your sim must have one or more and keep it until your sims’ death): bees

Instructions

Buy a new empty lot for your yellow sim

Begin with NO items in your inventory from your previous household and 0 simoleons (your mother didn’t give you anything) 

Complete your aspiration

Live with your father (or other parent). He must be changed to yellow and he must quit work (if he has any) and help you with your farm.

Master wellness, gardening and flower arranging skills

Have four children (one of them will be the next gen heir) with similar traits and same aspiration of the parent

Marry the father of your kids (you cannot earn money by doing that) in old age (and do not ask him to move until then).

Become best friends with your other parent

Earn money through veggie crops

Build a decent house with a big flower studio before you die (when you have earned enough money)

Gen 5: White

You adore white! Your life has been filled with happy memories and a loving household full of children. Even if you love everyone very much, you don’t feel like you belong in there. Some part of you wishes to be freed from the yellowish side of life and seek tranquility and a nice, lonelier life of your own. 

However, you don’t want to disappoint your parents and you dutifully continue the farming business, which you expect your kids to follow.

TRAITS (choose 3): gloomy, music lover, erratic, family oriented

ASPIRATION: Nerd Brain

VEGGIE (choose one) : onion, garlic, mushroom

ANIMAL (your sim must have one or more and keep it until your sims’ death): rat, dog or cat

Instructions

Buy a new empty lot for your last sim

Begin with several items in your inventory from your previous household and 10,000 simoleons (your family loves you so much)

Complete your aspiration

Master wellness, gardening and piano or violin skills

Have two children (one of them will be the next gen heir) with similar traits and same aspiration of the parent

Get engaged with the father of your kids (you cannot earn money by doing that) but never marry (you don’t think it is necessary). Live together.

Earn money through veggie crops

Build a decent house with a music studio before you die (when you have earned enough money)

Today I present a 9 generation legacy challenge that bases on doing things that you probably don’t do in your game.

Generation 1 - The Animal Lover

Traits: Dog Lover, Cat Lover, Ambitious

Aspiration: Friend Of The Animals

“I’ve always been drawn to interaction with animals in all forms, so why wouldn’t I give them all the love and affection I have?”

Rules:

- Live in Brindleton Bay

- Open a vet office and get it to 5 stars

- Have at least three pets (can be rodents)

- Master the Veterinarian skill

- Master the Pet Training skill

- Have ONE child

- Never get married (Be a single parent perhaps?)

Generation 2 - The Stay At Home Parent

Traits: Creative, Family Oriented, Childish

Aspiration: Big Happy Family

“My parent gave all their love towards animals and left me hanging. I want to make it up to my children and give them everything I never had.”

Rules :

- Marry as a young adult

- You’re not allowed to work, but your spouse is

- Have at least five children children (one of them has to be an alien)

- Spend at least two day a week doing voluntary work with your family

- Master the Parenting skill

- Master the Baking skill

Generation 3 - The Cook

Traits: Outgoing, Materialistic, Foodie

Aspiration: World Famous Celebrity

“I spent all of my free time in the kitchen so of course I made a career out of it.”

Rules:

- Open up your own restaurant and get it to at least 4 stars

- Marry an employee at the restaurant

- Have at least 2 kids

- Master the Cooking skill

- Master the Gourmet Cooking skill

- Become a five star celebrity chef

Generation 4 - The Party Animal

Traits: Goofball, Dance Machine, Noncommittal

Aspiration: Party Animal

“I can’t live freely if I can’t party!”

Rules:

- Date at least three people before finding a spouse

- Marry as an adult

- Have at least one kid

- Have at least three jobs within your lifespan

- Master the Dancing skill

- Master the Photography skill

- Have at least two social gatherings a week

Generation 5 - The Gamer

Traits: Clumsy, Nerd, Lazy

Aspiration: Computer Whiz

“My parents were always out partying so I learned to be entertained by technology instead.”

Rules:

- You’re not allowed to work as a young adult

- Enter the Tech Guru career as an Adult

- Earn your money from gaming tournaments and programming

- Live in a TLC apartment throughout your Young Adult life

- Have at least two kids

- Have a partner but never marry

- Master the Programming skill

- Master the Video Gaming skill

Generation 6 - The Doctor

Traits: Cheerful, Bookworm, Neat

Aspiration: Curator

“I’ve always been passionate about helping others and making sure they’re in great health. I knew that I wanted to be a doctor since I was a child.”

Rules:

- Enter the Doctor career and get to level 8

- Marry your high school sweetheart

- Have at least 3 kids

- Have a rich family life

- Master the Logic skill

- Master the Comedy skill

Generation 7 - The Explorer

Traits: Loves The Outdoors, Loner, Glutton

Aspiration: Jungle Explorer

“My hometown was too safe, too boring and too predictable. I need adventure and I need it fast.”

Rules:

- Enter the Gardener career

- Explore all of Selvadoradas jungles

- Marry a local of Selvadorada

- Have kid(s)

- Master the Selvadoradian Culture skill

- Master Archaeology skill

Generation 8 - The Forester

Traits: Loves The Outdoors, Vegetarian, Erratic

Aspiration: Outdoors Enthusiast

“My parents explored the jungle, I explore the forest.”

Rules:

- Spend at least 3 days/week in the forest

- Have two animals (can be rodents)

- Marry and have kid(s)

- Master the Herbalism skill

- Master the Gardening skill

- Master the Fishing skill

Generation 9 - The Critic

Traits: Creative, Mean, Snob

Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire

“Everyone is doing it wrong! It’s my way or the highway.”

Rules:

- Enter the Critic career and get to level 10 in the art critic branch

- Make at least 3 enemies through work

- Marry one of your enemies

- Have at least two kids

- Master the Painting skill

- Master the Mischievous skill
