I can’t stop missing you. The feeling reaches deep, consumes copious amounts of space with its emptiness. At my side, pillows and stuffies occupy your space. They’re not warm. They aren’t you.

My eyelids are heavy. The music of crickets draws on, drones on gently, all around me. I find myself sinking, enveloped in a cold, suffocating ocean of nostalgia.
