Moving in with Zayne Headcanon

Domestic Zayne! Who has never experienced the joy he felt when you agreed to move in with him. Who doesn’t hesitate when it comes to planning your move to the home you two will share together. Who’s unsurprised, but pleased nonetheless when the physical move goes without a hitch, no fighting over planning or decoration, just the two of you moving as a unit

Zayne Who thinks the hard part is over once the physical move has happened but notices you acting different

Zayne Who’s dedicated his life to studying the function of the heart, but his confidence about that subject pales in comparison to his knowledge of you, mind body and soul

Zayne Who notices the little things. When you start sinking lower in the bath, when you no longer take the time to adorn your daily jewelry, and when you let the flowers on the dining room table wilt a little longer than usual before changing them

Zayne Who sees a shine in your eyes when you start unpacking a new set of boxes and knows his time to intervene has come and is quickly passing him by

Zayne Who comes up behind you, loosely wrapping his arms around your waist before gently grabbing hold of your hands. Who holds your hands gently as he asks what’s wrong

Zayne Who both hears and feels the sigh leave your body as you ponder your response. Who doesn’t rush you because he knows you need to be honest with yourself about your feelings before you are able to be honest with him

Zayne Who listens as you process your thoughts about feeling overwhelmed with the move. Whose hands start to move in place of yours to unpack the box you’re currently in front of. Who mentally sorts everything that needs to be done for the move to be complete and dedicates his little free time to taking those burdens off of your shoulder

Zayne Who swears that the sun shines a little brighter the next day when he gets to sit in the bath with you. Who feels that the air is a little fresher when you begin adorning your regular jewelry. And who can’t help but smile and feel a rush of warmth in his heart when he places a bouquet of fresh Jasmines on the dining room table

Gooner! Roommate! Caleb who purposefully loses bets with you so he’s “punished” to do the laundry for the house, hoping to get just a glimpse of your panties

Roommate! Caleb who has to hide his blush later that night when he hands you the basket of clean laundry, hoping you won’t notice the missing pair

Roommate! Caleb who waits until the darkest part of the night to enjoy his reward. Who pulls out the pair of panties, and with only the moon as his witness, tenderly rubs the dried patch before bringing it to his nose

Roommate! Caleb who swears he can still feel the lingering warmth of you on his skin. Whose eyes roll back as he inhales deeply. And if the tip of his tongue reaches out for a taste, that’s between him and the moon
