Jay Ferin and Ava Ferin as both transfemme btw

Their family who had names lined up if they had girls/boys, with ‘Jay’ on the girl list

The Ferin family that had two sons two years apart

The oldest son became a daughter and didn’t choose the names offered for if they had girls, the name they wanted to give her. Ava didn’t want to be called Jay, and she chose her own name.

And the youngest son, who became their second daughter later on. Maybe she didn’t come out quickly or it took a while for her to realize, but she takes the name Jay in memory of her sister.

yeah!! i have an entire google doc:3

my main thoughts are how much they know about eachother, because having online friends myself, there is only like three i can put a face on, and two I've seen enough to recognize in public

i think they've seen eachothers faces, not often though, but a few times throughout the years, and vaguely know eachothers real actual names but feel weird using them cz they knew usernames first (which. i am working on. coming up now with usernames is hard💔)

i think they definitely tell eachother about irl stuff, especially because they've been in contact since before william left deadwood, but leave out. honestly a big chunk (ie ashe never really mentions the book, will never says he died just says he was injured, no mentions of anything hero in regards to themselves (not counting after meeting), etc) tho william does say some concerning shit

i also have a small (growing) list of games i think they would've played through and shit, because i think it's fun:3 (current list is a half finished still going baulders gate playthrough, multiple stardew saves, at least one it takes two game) tho i doubt they've completely finished all of them yet esp cz most require a setup and i severely doubt will has access to one of those most of the time

the rest of my thoughts are about how this would effect the timeline (not much) and what'd happen during s2 (because i thrive on sadness and tears)

timeline wise this changes like 0.2 besides adding a few more ashe and william moments and ints, like how i think while at marks place for the first time they'd probably talk alot more because. thats yr online bestiepop who is In Your House (qnd also just experienced a major traumatic event, and is also apparently a hero, and dead??) yk, much to the confusion of Literally Everyone Else (i think william gets messages and makes comments before meeting Ashe irl, and has bits like 'oh he'd like this' or smth, so everyone vaguely knows he has a friend, but thats the depth of it really)

NOW my angst thoughts:3

since this follows pretty much the timeline just with more ashe and will, during s2 will absolutely is just. Sad. he'll send ashe messages, pretend hes just taking a nap, or that hes just busy with schoolwork, or something instead of trickster-ed, that is one of if not his closest friends and hes suddenly gone, and I don't think he even processes that for a while (though all the chaos demon stuff does really hammer it in), and seeing the trickster at the WATCH base that first time REALLY fucks with him on a higher level

i also, surprisingly, have thoughts about Dakota and Vyncent, however my fingers hurt from typing so that is a later thing🙏

Due to what Clarence Albert was, being Xerneas, the Pokémon-god of life, William’s powers do not purely come from his own energy as an illusioneer. He has light-kinda crystal growths in his mane, like the things on Xerneas’ antlers that light up in different colors.

When the Wisps left him, it was more like that energy becoming inactive, the growths were still there, but much smaller and just became “decoration”

The traveling between planes part of the Wisp power is more like manipulating Unown and getting them to help.

It’s a mix of Unown helping change the universe to fit the Whisperer’s needs and boosted power from being the reincarnation of the god of life.

On a similar note, Mallard Conway is Yveltal. It might seem like I’m trying to do a thing of “life = good and death = bad” morality, but it genuinely is because I think Xerneas fits Clarence and I wanted them to parallel.

I chose Zorua for William, because much of his way of handling conflict is hiding and creating things that alter the senses in some way. He creates things with ghost shaping and the Unown give them physical presence. I think Belltech is the first time he really used his illusions to the fullest extent.

The Greats’ possession coming in the form as temporary evolution is something that really interests me and scratches my brain; and I feel it ties in nicely with Vyncent’s overall character and arc.

He wants to be his own person, he wants to have his own power, he wants to forge his own future and become what he wants to be. Having a lot of options laid out for him fits that nicely in my opinion.

Dakota complimenting him, saying that Vyncent’s greatest strength is the ability to Adapt feels perfect to me. So many possibilities, able to fit into anywhere. He just has to figure out where he wants to go.

Depending on how s3 goes, I’m thinking that if he goes through another big arc, he should be allowed to evolve. I’m leaning towards Sylveon or Espeon but that’s like. The last two options and I might just say “fuck it” and say he can be a really buff Eevee. Give that boy Extreme Evoboost.

I remember actually complaining to my friends because I couldn’t find any Taekwondo based fighting types, so the Blaziken line is the next best thing methinks.

What the mechanical heart did for Dakota was basically give him the energy of a fully evolved Blaziken in a Torchic Body. The issue wasn’t that his bones were going to break, but he genuinely couldn’t handle having that much Infinity Energy in his body, and it would overwhelm his system and basically cook him from the inside out at a certain point.

As a tradeoff, the extra energy makes it very difficult for him to evolve. He stays a Torchic all throughout s1 and only evolves into Blaziken after the heart is removed, gaining that power in a way more natural to him.

Chaos Cole form is Mega Blaziken methinks. I’m thinking he could have some ability or otherwise which makes it so he can hit ghosts, like the move Odor Sleuth to make it so.

I think that Mato’s gift to him at the end was the Blazikenite, and a Keystone it could connect to. Keystones don’t need anybody to connect to them, but all mega stones still have that anchor.

I think he would give it, or parts of it, to the other PD as a sort of good luck charm, or a friendship necklace.

I think the power of the Keystone is also what allows Dakota to, mechanically, take massive stat boosts from the heroes in the s2 finale.

I had the most trouble figuring out Ashe, so this is more like a sort of a placeholder. I wanted originally to do a dark type to go along with demons, but then I think with her thoughts being that she’s “too normal” to be a hero, a normal type would be best.

I chose Porygon because it almost feels “unstable,” and I think Porygon-Z is fucked up enough to represent the Trickster Possession pretty well, its whole thing of staring into multiple dimensions at once.

It’s a normal type with a lot of potential, and I think it also fits in well with a big part of her character being that she is a gamer.

I also think that the other PD, especially Dakota would hear that she wants to evolve and go all in on finding an Upgrade for her.

The basic premise is just like. My interpretation and exploration of William’s backstory. The reason it’s an AU is because of the numerous headcanons contradicting canon, though it is supposed to be within the same storyline with very minimal difference

Part of it is like…. William *and* the Unwitness Protection Program coping with his death, kinda. Wiwi was outed as trans the day he died, so it’s also supposed to be like… metaphor for coming out kinda? :D

The Unwitness Protectjon Program is actually a middle school club (I hc that the pd are younger than in canon… they are highschool freshmen in s1… to me…….), and it’s just a few of the 7 members who actually go out and do stuff

“Paranormal Investigation Club” has like. 4 members with supernatural attunement and 3 of the 7 members actually come to club
