A False Face

I'm tired of being alone, texting on this damn phone. Head hanging low, heart feeling broke and mind disarray. Putting on a false face ain't a damn thing okay. I've felt tears on my face more than my smile. Saying to myself this will past in a while Putting on a false face ain't a damn thing okay. God holds me tight in the palm of his hand. Lord will I ever feel whole again. So many emotions run threw my head I hate feeling crazy, dread, sad then mad. Putting on a false face ain't a damn thing okay A temporary pleasure just to open a closed box that I was so proud of while it stayed locked. Everyones eyes tell a story.The deeper you look, you can see their journey. You'll see the good times, the bad times and the times to come. And the times you were scared or not scared to run. Your eyes can show love and affection, Even when you know you chose the wrong direction. Your eyes can say no, when you don't want someone to go. When you know it's best for your heart and soul. Your eyes can show shame, when your the one to blame. Yet can show your strength, as you get over it. Closing them doesn't make things go away, but helps you think of what to say when you pray, for a better day. They show the the happy times, the restless nights, the broken hearts when you were torn apart. That sparkle in your eye or the tear upon your face may make you want a hiding place, but yet it still shows in your eyes. ~valovers3~
