It's very, very common for people to argue that "sex is still binary, outside of rare exceptions or deformities", which is usually how people justify a binary, immutable view of biological sex, but its so stupid and circular.

You can't define intersex people as "deformed" without a defined sex binary and you can't define a sex binary without excusing intersex people "deformed".

It seems like the older I get, the more irrationally angry casual censorship makes me. And it isn't just the "unalive" "grape" alleged filter-dodging vernacular, but the way normal words will be peppered with asterisks, or screenshots will have words like "gay" "hell" "fuck" etc either partially or entirely blurred. Who is this helping? What is the purpose of it, except to reinforce shame and elevate a flimsy perception of purity and safety, however those things manifest. It's so tiresome and I'm sick of it.

Good ol' Julie, despite already grocery shopping this week we are out again because I'm staying with them for a few days. She wanted to pick up ingredients to make me some of her fav meals, "I want to make you my Chinese mince Laurent" which is sweet because my nan cannot have alums and in her old age has become more autistic with her palette. I mean she has plain steamed broccoli every night with dinner. I also cannot eat ginger so i think the pork mince is the only traditional thing in the recipe haha.
