i might regret this, but here is a starter call. it may be random, i might reach out to plot a little, who knows !

a  low  laugh  passes  his  as  he  grabs  his  own  towel  to  lightly  rub  against  his  hair  in  effort  to  at  least  stop  the  dripping.  he  hadn't  missed  the  skepticism  on  the  other's  face  as  the  space  between  them  was  closely  monitored.  but  he  wasn't  about  to  push  it,  it  wasn't  worth  the  risk  of  a  genuine,  one  sided  argument.  “ are  you  sure  about  that? ”  vander  asks,  a  smirk  pulling  at  the  corner  of  his  lips  before  draping  the  towel  over  his  shoulder  and  picking  up  his  hard  hat  in  preparation  of  leaving.  it's  a  clear  joke,  silco's  repulsion  for  this  amount  of  sweat  very  clear.  but  that  didn't  mean  there  wasn't  room  for  some  light  teasing.  “ i  can  hold  off  for  a  few  hours.  make  sure  i  sit  on  the  couch,  maybe  your  bed  ... ”  he  lists  off  seriously  despite  the  smile  that  only  grows.  shrugging,  he  adds,  “    ...  or  maybe  i'll  shower.    ”

vander  puts  on  his  hard  hat  before  stepping  back  to  silco,  almost  as  if  he  was  going  to  fall  into  the  familiar  pattern  of  tossing  his  arm  over  his  shoulders.  but  instead,  he  stops  and  gestures  with  his  arm,  saying,  “    after  you.    ”   /   @silklies

he   was   use   to   being   covered   in   sweat   from the mines,   a   strenuous   activity that left   all   of them covered in their own sweat and soot.   however,   the sudden splash of   wetness   his direction from vander as he shook his head had been   disgusting    ⸻     not sure if it had been all sweat or something else like water.   nonetheless,   he took off away from him,   slapping   hands away that try and reach for him.   eyes narrow at vander,   facial features contorted with   disgust.   one would think that considering he also worked in the mines,   he wouldn't mind,   however he certainly didn't want   vander's   sweat all over him.   he   was   sweaty   enough   as   it   is   !   ❛   it   is   that  gross.   ❜   a pause as he stops to look at vander,   eyes flit down to the towel handed out to him,   a   huff   leaving lips.   he didn't   trust   him to not grab him and continue to shake his hair in his face to get him   soaking,   however he grabs for the somewhat clean hand towel.   using it to   wipe   his face clean on whatever soot had clung to skin.

❛   the  other   twenty   percent   being  sweat  is  foul.   once  we  get  out  of  here,   you   better   take  a  shower.   ❜   all he wanted to do was   relax   after a hard day,   maybe have a   drink   too but most of all   …   a shower was calling his name.   the warmth on his skin,   soaking it up.   it   sounded   heavenly.

sleepy , domestic morning kisses in the kitchen while making breakfast.

fingers run through hair, his free hand holding the handle of the pan in his hand. with a slight shake of the pan he moves the eggs, ensuring they don't stick to the hot pan, before he sets it back on the burner. in his periphery, vander sees a familiar form entering the kitchen. a soft smile flips up the corner of his lips as his eyes return to the pan. picking up the spatula, he slips it under the eggs and shifts them to the waiting plates. as he turns to face them, and in turn, jayce as he lingers by the counter.      “    you didn't have to g e t u p ,    ”        he says, soft smile still on his lips as he adjusts the food on the plates and takes the pan off the burner. “    i was going to bring yours to bed,    ”

his look to jayce is mildly concerned, but not unhappy to see him up and about. based on the state of him the previous night, he expected at least a slower start. then again, jayce did always suprise him. vander reaches out, hand gentle, slipping it behind the other's back to pull him closer. he leans in, kissing him lightly, lips still hovering over the other's as he says,       “    g'morning.    ” vander's hand pulls him a little closer for a moment, kissing him again, this time with more feeling, deepening it with an eager tongue as he leans in closer for a moment. if he didn't want to make sure jayce ate before he headed down to the bar, he wouldn't worry about the plates at risk of getting cold on the counter beside him. but instead he inhales a sigh as he pulls back, releasing jayce reluctantly. he looks down to the plates and picks up one, holding it between them for jayce's taking. “    just the way you like it.    ”
