Hee joo's devotion and willingness to do anything for sa eon is giving me life she's one in a million and yes sa eon is as devoted as a human can be but that's almost every male lead ever but a female lead like her is practically extinct especially one that matches her otps romantic gestures and sacrifices to an exact degree (her getting down and proposing while remaking the contract? Iconic) do you have any suggestions for other dramas with women like her? The only one I can think of from this year is Dou zhao from blossom who floored me with how she used every tool at her disposal to cherish her husband in a way you only see MLs do.

I'm also totally in love with Hong Hee-joo from When the Phone Rings and Dou Zhao from Blossom! There are some other similar female leads. Spoilers ahead:

Han Ri-ta in Moon in the Day murders her husband's father, expecting to die for it, so she can free him. (And it's even more wild because her husband killed her entire family; best enemies to lovers ever.) In the present, her reincarnation decides to off herself to end a curse/save the people around her. She's also a competent firefighter.

Naksu/Cho Yeong/Mu-deok from Alchemy of Souls. She pursues goals to a suicidal level to help Jang Uk/herself gain her powers. She also gives up her power for love. I will never get over her insane plan to poison Jang Uk and get herself tortured in Ep 3, very unhinged.

Oh Han-byul from Sh**ting Stars. She is more like Dou Zhao from Blossom, very competent at her job and very protective of the male lead (despite finding him very annoying at first). She also does the male lead thing of helping him in secret: phones for help when she sees him being mobbed by fans, gets him his favourite foods but doesn't say it's from her, etc.

Despite starting off as a silly fangirl, Orchid from Love Between Fairy and Devil matures a lot and becomes an equal to her over-powered fiance. She proposes to him too! She drugs him in an attempt to save him, endures a torture cave so they can marry, and sacrifices herself to stop a war.

I'm on Ep 28/68, but A'wu from The Rebel Princess is pretty great. She starts as a idealistic teenager but grows up very fast. She has a great ride or die vibe with her husband, which includes her threatening suicide rather than being used as a captive to sway her husband's decisions.

This is getting long, so I'll add W: Two Worlds, Flower of Evil, Happiness, and Doom at Your Service as fitting this theme. The female lead in Happiness breaking out of a military base to save her infected husband and then telling him she loves him even at his worst? *chef's kiss*

summary: Being Rhaenyra Targaryen's heir is a difficult thing, but what happens when you also become one of the Realm's most prized posessions?

i. the dear daughter (2.8k) - At one-and-twenty and eight-and-ten, barely a year after their marriage, Ser Laenor Velaryon and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen welcomed their first child, a daughter, into the world. The girl immediately became dear to the whole court, coddled and spoiled by all, but mostly by her grandsire, King Viserys I. The man saw in his granddaughter her mother, and as the girl grew to look like his late wife, Aemma Arryn, it became even clearer that he doted on her more than he did to his own children or his other grandchildren.

ii. about children and trouble (8.2k) - It is reported that in the year 121 AC, when the Realm’s Jewel was only six summers old, her hatchling Merrax was eaten by the Cannibal in a strange turn of events that found him moving from Dragonstone to the Dragonpit in King’s Landing. Princess Rhaenyra demanded to have the dragon’s head cut, but as nobody ever tried nor dared to get close to the Cannibal, it was impossible to do it. Thus, her daughter took the matters into her own hands.

iii. little big lady (5.0k) - Court whispers tell us that during her third pregnancy, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen was particularly sensitive. She managed to cover it up pretty well, apparently, but she had one weak spot: her daughter, her firstborn and heir, who later on witnessed her little brother Prince Joffrey's birth by request of her mother. Despite openly disliking the experience, it is said that the Realm’s Jewel insisted on being present to future labours in case things went downhill — and she did, attending her mother in giving birth to all her future children.

iv. dragons' scars (6.4k) - And after the events that happened during Lady Laena’s funeral at Driftmark, two dragons were left scarred.

v. you'll change your name or change your mind (and leave this fucked up place behind) (5.3k) - When the King’s Justice — the royal executioner — died, the Realm’s Jewel proposed a perfect replacement: Nādrēsy, her dragon, the infamous Cannibal. Even if many eyebrows were raised at the Small Council, the King hastily agreed, happy to have an excuse for keeping his granddaughter close to him, even if it was for only a few days every moon. Or, as it always ended up, for a bit more than that.

vi. but I'll know, I'll know (8.4k) - At the ripe age of ten, the Realm’s Jewel was nominated by her grandsire the King, despite all the protests of the Small Council, the official Royal Ambassador; thus, her voyages throughout the Seven Kingdoms started, and yet another nickname was forged for her by the Smallfolk: the Wandering Princess.

↳ interlude (tbd) - Blood stained sheets. The first thing that comes up to your mind? Burning them and fleeing, obviously.

vii. legitimacy (tbd) - “Vaemond Velaryon’s petition holds no sense,” it is said that the Wandering Princess reiterated once she heard of her uncle’s accusations. “My late father always recognised my brothers as his trueborn sons. Whether they look like him or the Baratheon and Arryn side of the family does not matter: they are legitimate.”

Did y'all forget about how ferrari completely ruined charles' race at SP just to get that win for sainz or does this selective memory only work when it comes to sainz being on the receiving end of this treatment?

Time and again ferrari has not refrained from making Charles play the second fiddle to someone who is essentially the slower driver out of the 2.

If Ferrari really wants a world they would better off with building their team around and giing priority to the faster of the 2 drivers : which evidently has been Charles throughout.

But since many of you like to claim that Charles is always being unfairly favoured, I'd kindly ask you to watch these races and rethink your words cuz the way they've fucked him in these ones is something even red bull wouldn't do to it's 2nd driver.

a late night talk sesh. let's talk ferrari & C² duo

disclaimer: this is just my thoughts spilled at 3:30am with drowning assignment in front of me. i support both the drivers and the team and this is not me coming out for dispute or being rude. soo keep an open mind while reading please thank you!

apparently earlier today, i came across the talks on ferrari driver contracts which somewhat mentioned abt charles being signed up for couple years more and sainz wanting to sign up for 2 but the team giving him a year contract.

sure 2023 season wasn't the VERY BEST for the team but lowkey, i also felt like the C² boys were getting treated more like hamilton-bottas duo. Literally felt like Sainz is/was treated as a secondary as compared to Leclerc.

no offence to anyone, i adore the duo every much and i hope they're both on good terms too (apart from all the Spaniard's family dramas). But at times, Ferrari gives out vibes of treating leclerc more highly than sainz but fails on tracks at majority time for leclerc.

Charles has always been public about every single thing about his career and professional life. Career and Professional life ONLY.

Charles has not disclosed anything about his personal life on his own discretion, that is not already public knowledge.

All this guy is doing is requesting privacy regarding his personal life and his decisions regarding them.

Fans waited outside his house in Monaca for signs and autographs...do you think it is too much that he would try and protect his privacy?

Do you think he enjoys reading comments about how his ex is better than his current or how they look so alike or how they prefer which one? And these are constant conversations.

Do you think he enjoys his grief about his father and Jules Bianchi being weaponised against him?? Or for that matter even being pitied for it all the time?? All those sad edits and comparisons being made and shared for your personal pleasures and entertainment??

Do you think he enjoys being harassed out in public places when he is just trying to enjoy a downtime with friends and family??

Dude is already willing to give so much of himself to his fans cuz he does recognize their importance and their feelings and that he is lucky to have our support.
