🎀30 Day Glow Up Challenge🎀 - day thirteen

♡ Mindset : I deal with seasonal depression and even though I am on anti depressants I’ve made it a habit to walk for 10 minutes in the morning or afternoon today I waited a little to late and I felt myself getting sad. I was going to procrastinate but when I was watching one of my fav lifestyle YouTubers she motivated me to get up and go for my walk. As I walked I read a book and thought about my day and the progress I am making in my glow up journey.

♡ Health : I went grocery shopping yesterday and I bought a sweet cranberry kale salad kit. I loveee this salad kit I usually get it from Costco but I purchased it from ShopRite it was so good I had it for dinner with my rotisserie chicken and I added two serving sizes of feta such a bomb salad. I’ve been creating a Pinterest board for meal ideas and healthy meal plans.

♡ Self Care : when I went on my walk I decided to stop by dollar tree to look for a new journal. I want to start Quran journaling. I didn’t find any good journals sadly but I did pick up a foot mask I’ll be using that tomorrow. I needed that for a fact.

♡ Experience : I loveeee Pinterest so much like I have so many different boards and pins that I love so much and there are so many amazing creators on Pinterest who also have Tumblr pages. So I’ve been working on my Pinterest page for this blog and I can’t wait to share my Pinterest page once everything is done and uploaded.

MY PERFUME COMBOS ; 

strawberry pound cake (bath and body works) + fresh cream warm cashmere (philosophy) 

pink sugar body mist (aquolina) + candy baby (victorias secret)

PERFUME LAYERING GUIDE ;

choose complementary or contrasting scents based on whatever u like the smell of 

start off with a base layer and use a body wash that enhances the base (try and keep the scents similar) 

if ur layering perfumes, spray the stronger scents first and top with lighter scents so that u won’t overpower the more delicate notes 

COMPLEMENTARY SCENTS FOR LAYERING ; 

pair a rose scented fragrance with a fruity vanilla fragrance (rose + fruity vanilla) 

pair a vanilla scented fragrance with a fruity fragrance (vanilla + fruity) 

pair a spice scented fragrance with a floral fragrance (spice + floral)

pair a fruity scented fragrance with a musk fragrance (fruity + musk) 

SMELLING LIKE A SCENT ALL DAY ; 

after u get out of the shower, spritz ur dry body with ur favorite fragrance and let it dry onto ur skin before u apply ur cream 

hot tip : when ur putting on perfume, press and dont rub bcuz then the scent will stick and last longer

• wearing body spray and dusting powder to bed

• applying body oil as soon as i’ve finished my shower

• oil cleansing for at least a minute

• making my bed and arranging my plushies every morning

• letting my face wash act as a mask in the shower

• layer lip oil, a clear or pink gloss, and a glitter gloss on top

• always sleep with a lip mask (laneige and farmacy are the best)

• wearing shimmer body butter and lotion

• aveeno lavender lotion to bed every night

• designated days for exfoliating

• brushing and flossing, lip scrub, AND THEN face wash and skincare>>>

• leaving my tv off for at least an hour or two when i first get home

• body shimmer on my chest ALWAYS. viktor and rolf flowerbomb shimmer dusting powder is so perfect. so is the treehut tropic glow shimmer mist and bath and body works ones.

• always having gum and candy in my bag. pretty girls love hi chews and hubba bubba gum!!
