Pending character creation changes for Dungeons & Dragons 6th Edition:

The game’s default setting no longer has native humans. Human player characters are presumed to be interdimensional travellers from Earth.  

Dwarves are now magnetic. They don’t have magnetism powers as such, metal objects just stick to them.  

Orcs are secretly robots. Only orcs know this.  

Drow are replaced with low elves, who are exactly like high elves, except they build their towers down instead of up. They regard surface-dwelling peoples as very silly for building in the wrong direction.  

All non-human species now have “half” variants, rather than just elves and orcs, but instead of being half human, they’re half the size. Nobody is completely sure what halflings are half of.  

Gnomes can fly.
