okayokay so i love it when stan and kyle’s relationship in fics (more specifically sot fics) is super weird and undefinable to the point where you cant tell whether they just close friends/a king and his most trusted knight or romantic partners.

this being mainly because one, they probably dont know what they are either, and/or two, theyre too worried about whatever war or main conflict is happening in the story to address it.

i get that to do this they’d probably be reduced to background characters or at least less important charactrs to be able to keep the air of mystery around their relationship, but please, if someone were to make or recommend me a fic like this, i would give you my first born.
