Juliyah sits at their living room couch. All this just feels like some messed up storyline. Juliyah who is far away from his little sister and Yuki who's parental unit is far away from her. Was this some kind of game thag the Stars were having fun with?

"So, our parents has been taken away..." he looks at Yuki and cracks a smile, "looks like we have to team up and rescue them." Problem is:

Where do they even start?

There's a knock on the door shortly after.

It really is dangerous, isn't it? For a child to trust so blindly. It's probably something he'll have to teach her about. If he sees her afaun after this.

"Then let's get on the train," he says with a light smile.

As they make their way to the train and to the archimedes ward, there is a lot to talk about. Yuki was really good at finding topics to hop on and Juliyah was happy to follow along.

The yakitori may not have been the same, but Juliyah hoped that Yuki enjoyed it nonetheless.

Her hand is so small in his. She's extremely tiny in a world that was big and, well, scary. Still, the small child had a brave face on her. In this big scary world without her mother and her little brother, she remained smiling. He knows that if he had been brought here as a child, himself...he would have been crying everyday. The thought has him chuckling to himself.

"I think there's some at the Star Trail in Archimedes Ward." With that, his fingers curl around her's, securely and he begins walking.

"We'll have to take the train there. You okay with that?"

She doesn't give him room to protest when she pushes back the sword into his hands. He exhales silently and nods. As long as she was careful then that was fine.

"I'm going to have to find you after all this is over. Gotta teach you how to use a sword," he says with a friendly tone and a light laugh. "I---,"

CRASH

The door is broken down and the Glitched swarms in immediately. With the use of his flickering shadow manipulation and his weakened sword, he's holding the Glitched Back.

Hes glad he didn't give her the sword since it looked like it wouldn't have defended her much longer.

Sorry, Mira. I don't think I'll be able to get out of this one. But don't stop. Keep going and find that shelter.

As Juliyah checks to see how below is looking, she's looking around up top, seeing if there's possible anything she might be able to fly them towards. It's hard to tell how much longer she'd be able to do, but that doesn't change she'd still be willing to try. Even if he tried to drill it into her to worry about herself, it still just wouldn't stick that well in the end.

But beyond trees, there's nothing else really good close-wise. Feelings well more in her chest, ones she doesn't like. How can she fix this? Make sure they don't get split apart? She's been unable to stick with another for long, it was fraying on her usually calm nerves.

When Juliyah quickly approaches where she is, she turns to face him, but she can see that he's still concerned before suddenly holding out his own personal sword and the map to her. Without thinking at first, she grabs them, before it dawns on her he wants her to use them, and she's quickly giving him the sword back.

"I - I do not personally know how to use it well, it would be useless in my hands."

But she keeps the map close towards her chest, before she's looking below as well, and she doesn't want to, dreads leaving him up here alone. Dread? Is that what it was? But, if it helps him. If he needs that from her.

Then, she's stepping backwards, slowly beginning to float down from the rooftop.

"Promise me you will find me once they are gone."

Call it a habit or something. Juliyah is grateful for his fast reflexes, either way. "It was nothing. Don't sweat it." And she still does, though, offering a meal or something to repay him for her gratitude.

Huffing, Juliyah motions to the bags, "Do you need help carrying those?" He asks, instead.

"I really can't thank you enough for helping me out there." The student was one step away from a complete disaster involving the bags of clothes she picked up as well as other gifts she was going to hand out to some friends. However a sudden crack in the ground caused Mika to trip, almost falling straight into the pavement had someone not taken notice right next to them and helped them regain their balance.

"Is there any way I can help repay you? Maybe I can pay for your meal if your looking for some lunch..."

"Pink, making things, and mugicha," he says, nodding. He isn't sure what the last thing is, but with a simple search on Spiral's searching site, he's sure to be able to figure it out.

"Alright. Your dress is very pretty, but we can't cut a piece and put it in, so we'll find some needles and threads and the color that matches your dress. Does that sound like a good plan? We'll get a big box to put all of her favorite things in."

Yuki relaxes into Juliyah's side, listening to his explanation. It sounds like a great idea, gathering all of the things her mom likes and keeping them close. It doesn't make everything better, and Yuki still really wants to go home... but if it worked for Juliyah she wants to give it a try.

"Mmm... yeah! I wanna try." She agrees, picking at the hem of her dress. "What does mommy like... She likes reading books, and farming." Well, those were things she had to do, but Yuki can't yet tell the difference.

"She likes mugicha, and the color pink... and, ummm... making stuff! Like my dress, she made it! It's so pretty."

Juliyah moves an arm so that Yuki can be more comfortable leaning up against his side. An arm gently drapes over her. "I'll grab everything that my mom likes. When it comes to flowers, she loves Dahlias. The smell of salt? any plant life. And she likes cute, small trinkets. I'll collect anything I can find that she likes and put it all in a small box, and I'll hold onto it until I don't miss her as much." Juliyah pats her arm gently.

"I still miss her, but I feel better. Like I can take on the world because she's right next to me. I used to do it a lot when I was a kid, too. And when I got older and was away from my mom for long, long times, I would do just that. It got me through."

"Do you want to try? See how it makes you feel?"

Yuki looks up and is glad to see Juliyah! She scoots closer and leans against his side, letting out a big sigh. He misses his mommy too, and probably his other family. Yuki misses Ame, and all the people in the town-- even the grumpy grandpa who helps them farm.

"Huh? What do you do?" She asks, finally a bit of curiosity in her eyes rather than sadness.

Of course, she misses her mom. Of course, she's out here! Yuki is so small and in such an unfamiliar world without her mother. Without her brother, even. Juliyah can only imagine how lonely and scared she can be.

"I'm glad to see you here," he says with a soft relief. He's taking a seat next to Yuki on the ground. He sits in silence for a bit and eventually exhales a sigh, "Me too. I miss mine, too." His attention rests on her in thought.

"Do you want to know what I do when I miss mine? Maybe you can give it a try, too."

"Mother's day...?"

She remembers being in her mothers arms, slipping into her futon when she had a nightmare.

Waking up to Ame crying and heading to the park, so the neighbours wouldn't bang on the door and complain about the noise.

Putting a small jar with a single dandelion in it next to her fathers ID card- the only picture they have of him, next to some yakitori.

"... I want my momma..."

He's glad the other guy hasn't traveled too far! He's caught up to him soon after and watches as Till kicks about. Shrugging off his jacket, he plops it on top Till. It's freezing out and Till might catch a cold. "I know what it's like to stand your ground and not back out, even if you know you should."

It was his way of apologizing. Should he had known the guy had stage fright of some sort, he probably wouldn't have pushed him the way he did. Juliyah takes a seat beside him with a huff.

"..."

It's a game of tug of war. Pride couldn't have two shits about the guy on stage, but Juliyah watches him and feels the need to do something. He feels bad.

Before he can actually do anything, the guy is getting off stage and before he knows it, he's running.

There are maybe just a small handful who sees the performer rushing off, a mix of worry and confusion placed on those faces.

To follow or not? Juliyah steps in the same direction of where Till had bolted.

He didn't look too good and It would be a pain in the ass if anything happened to him.

Pride is uncharacteristically quiet for now.

Yeah....that's what he's going to go with. He's picking up his pace to go after the other.

Of course Weston isn't dumb enough to fall for that pack of lies. Weston has seen the scars from his past and how could Juliyah gain new ones from back home if they've been stuck here?

Shit. It was his error to think Weston would fall for it. "Well.. " he pushes another vegetable with his fork and goes for the meat.

"What the hell did I do?" Juliyah asks as he pokes at his dish. There's rice, spam, eggs, some vegetables, and.....cauliflower.

He can't stand cauliflower. Still, he exhales a long sigh and pops a piece in his mouth.

Juliyah is already kicking hus own ass mentally. He will have to apologize after everything is said and done. It wasn't like him to panic the way he did, either.

Pride's cackle is distracting, but it doesn't say anything more. That's good.

Juliyah can focus.

And good thing Mira is already making her way up. Juliyah is holding the Glitched back with the use of his ability. He uses this time to keep them held back and follows Mira up the stairs that leads to the roof. He feels his power thinning out. Any second and these guys would flood the upstairs.

"Mira."

So, on the rooftop, Juliyah checks for any Glitched down below. It's clear for the most part. He doesnt see any danger.

He makes sure the door is shut and secured. Using pressure from his shadow manipulation as a barrier to the door helps.

He winces, but continues to keep a strong hold mentally. He rushes back over to her and breathes out, calming himself.

"It's clear down below, but one of us has to hold these guys back, okay?" He isn't yelling, but there is a sense of urgency as he pulls his own sword out of his hilt. "Take these. Protect yourself and I'll meet you at the closest shelter. You remember where it is, right? Just follow the map here." He points at the area he circled on the map.

"You gotta go quickly. If you're here, I won't be able to fight back." The wooden sword, Juliyah pats to indicate he'll be alright.

He holds his hand out for her. It's almost in a way to offer comfort, really. For her mainly. As they make way toward the back, though, Juliyah hears the door from the entrance where they enter break through!

"Shit. What the hell?" When Juliyah turns to face what Glitched, he's surprised to see the grotesque BEING. It's large with many arms and mouths! What's worse is that the normal glitch is coming inside as well.

"Go. Mira, go. I'll hold them off." She's not going to listen.

He knows she won't listen, but he says it again. "MIRA. MOVE IT."

The Glitched and the horrendous creature are moving in. With such a tight space though, it makes it hard for the Glitched beings to move. Juliyah has his hold on them, preventing them from moving any closer with the use of shadow manipulations.

Juliyah chuckles lightly at her reaction to seeing her own little art. Cute. What he doesn't expect is the little patting she does as she tells him that he's done good. Something pulls at his heart, and Lucifer comments on it, but Juliyah ignores their question and annoyance.

"Thanks," He says with a much softer look.

It brings him back to when his own mother would tell him he did well when Juliyah came running to his mother after a successful finish in one of his choir classes. A big smile on his face, and he talked about how much fun he had singing with all the other kids. It was the only time he got to sing along with everyone else without being pushed around.

"Wanna go get some of that Yakitori now?"

Juliyah shrugs his shoulder and looks at Eiden. Gh, seriously, he's almost as bad as Thyme.

" A true jock mentality hehe~~ "

He sympathetically pats Juliyah's shoulder.
