hi, just wanted to talk a little bit about veil.

in case you don’t know, let me explain real quick: so veil is this slice of life manga with a slow burn romance about a a police officer ‘he’ and ‘her’ a blind girl (previously both of their names will revealed as aleksander and emma).

ok now let’s talk a little about it. so basically i read again the whole thing again (by the way is on going, so soon will have another chapters), I see that a lot of people get confused with the story with ‘are they really going to date’ or ‘are they dating’ and for now their just have quite of interest relationship between them, their conversations always seem so intimate even if sometimes are just random stuff, it’s interesting to see how they’re comfortable enough with each other to chat about the most silly things, but at the same time, i feel at each chapter it’s seem like there is a conflict, it’s like none of them are aware of their connection or love that they have with one another, because they are so comfortable with each other they don’t realize and think that it might be an normal feeling for them.

and that’s exactly what i been thinking if this is really something real or maybe just my vision in this, i’m really curious how this story is going and i’m excited how their relationship going to grow.

that’s was all, i was just wondering about it a lot and veil is very special for me so i had to comment!

My wonderful friend @the-cinnaminion did a commission for me of Nanami Kento from Jujutsu Kaisen! She does lovely food art so I asked her to include Nanami's favorite bread which she did such a wonderful job on. I love the warm lighting and how content Nanami is getting a nice break for a change ❤️

you still remember how special you felt when you visited nanami's apartment the first time after you started dating. it's his home, his comfort and safety zone. (probably one of very few places in which gojo can't march in unannounced without legal consequences.)

it felt odd seeing nanami in a pair of checked pyjama pants and a cotton shirt. instead of polished, expensive leather shoes, he was wearing white, banana patterned socks (he smiled bashfully and explained that yuji had gifted them to him) and some worn off slippers.

it felt odd going from one room to another, knowing that every single furniture, piece of decor, and even every so insignificant little object had its own place designated by nanami himself. (like the little matryoshka dolls that gojo had gotten for everyone from his mission overseas. you remember nanami's indifference at the gesture yet there they were, sitting neatly placed on top of his fridge.)

it felt odd seeing him asleep on the couch after a movie night. his head in your lap, mouth slightly agape and features looking so much softer and younger now that he was relaxed and sleeping peacefully. like having a small kitten asleep on you, you didn't dare to move, didn't dare to brush the lose strands of hair out of his face, because you really wanted that moment to last forever.

but what once felt odd, now feels like home. what you once never wanted to end, has become a daily occurrence. nanami’s old slippers have been replaced by new, fluffier ones that you had bought him. the yellow imprint on his socks has faded, and the matryoshkas have been replaced by a miniature version of the statue of liberty (gojo gets around quite a lot)-

yet the weight of nanami’s head on your lap still feels the same. and even if you dare to let your fingers trail along the fine lines of his face, and accidentally wake him up from his little nap, the smile that he offers you still holds the same adoration for you just like on day one.
