Hi! We are not restricting what people make, but please please tag/flag that your contribution has 18+ content so that it's easy for people who don't want to see it to avoid it.

We ask that people tag Tumblr posts with content warnings for anything people may want to avoid (ie nsfw, self harm, suicide, etc). If a content warning tag seems missing, we may add that before reblogging.

For art posts: Tumblr lets you flag posts as mature. You could also put NSFW art under a cut.

For fic/anything on AO3: please use appropriate ratings/content warning tags. Please also take care regarding what you include in summaries/previews or above a Tumblr Read More.

The Vee Digital Fanzine is Returning for 2025!

Hello everyone! I'm super excited to announce that we will be running another Vee fanzine this year! This is a completely free, digital-release zine for all fanworks focusing on Vee! Submit interest for the zine at the non-binding form above. We will be accepting submissions from any contributors!

Event Timeline:

May 30, 2025: First optional check-in

June 27, 2025: Second optional check-in

July 18, 2025: Final optional check-In

August 1, 2025: Final work submission deadline!

August 14, 2025: Zine release date!

TOH Fandom: Sign up for Fandom Trumps Hate by February 2nd!

The @fandomtrumpshate online charity auction is back for its 9th year! This is a fantastic way for the fandom community to raise money for small, progressive non-profits working to protect marginalized people.

We'd love to see more auction offerings from The Owl House fandom this year. Creators must sign up by February 2nd and can offer fanfic, fanart, fanvids, podfic, fan labor (including beta reading), and more! Winning bidders will receive a gift in thanks for their donation to one of this year's charities.

January 20 - February 2: Creator sign-ups

February 21: Browsing begins

February 25 - March 1: Bidding on auction offerings

March 12: Winning bidders must show proof of donations

The next four years may be rough, so us weirdos have to stick together! You can make a difference as a Fandom Trumps Hate creator, bidder, or both!

Even if you can't participate yourself, please signal boost! You are also more than welcome to offer fanworks for other fandoms; this is a pan-fandom event.

It's Time!

Hello again, witches and demons! It is once again time to celebrate the holidays, Owl House style!

Same deal as last year - From today until November 30th, signups will be open. You will be asked to provide a Tumblr URL, your pen name on fanfiction sites you use, and at least two prompt ideas for whoever draws your name to choose from. You can also offer a third prompt idea to give your fic exchange writer an extra idea to consider. If more than one idea appeals to you, you may combine them.

The prompts can be vague (fluff with Luz and Amity), or a bit more specific (Luz meets Raine on her first day in the Boiling Isles instead of Eda). Please keep your prompts rated T at maximum; prompts rated M or E are prohibited.

There will also be a section asking what you are okay with writing (certain characters, relationships, and/or genres), and what you are not okay with writing (certain characters, relationships, and/or triggers).

Signups will close immediately after the 30th, at which point I will send out fic assignments. You will then have until December 31st to write a fic with one of the two or three prompts given to you and post it. Please give me a notice if you will be late due to emergency circumstances like a family emergency or other crisis, then you will have until January 10th to post.

In terms of length, I ask that your fic have a minimum of 1,000 words.

I did some drawings for #Vee week 2024 prompts, but I never posted them. I drew both to be accompanied by short fics, but I never got around to finishing that part 😓

So here they are, accompanied by summaries I made. Maybe I can take another crack at these stories? They have some potential, and it would be a shame to waste it.

Day 4: Not a Monster/Grom Night

It's two days until grom night! Vee doesn't have anything to wear!! MASHA PERSONALLY INVITED HER!!! Enlisting the help of Luz's other demonic family members to help with her wardrobe (She could shapeshift a dress for herself, but Masha deserves for her to go all out, don't they?), she learns that there is a lot more in common between her, the young titan, and the teenage grimwalker than she thought.

Day 7: Family/Extinct

A heartwarming family reunion!!! While searching for straggling survivor’s of belos' titanic possession, Luz discovers the hiding place of two new faces. Faces that are incredibly familiar to her Basilisk Sister! Stories are told, tears are shed, and long-lost siblings finally get to embrace.
