The second member of the RVT to be reimagined with an RPG class in an au similar to Frieren is Orla. I had to make her an artificer cause I feel that the class suits her really well. I also had to make her steampunk cause she gives me massive steampunk vibes.

So the second member after swords master hero Friede is artificer Orla ⚙️🤖

Watching Frieren made me wonder what roles the members of the Rising Volt Tacklers would be if they were in a similar world. This inspired me to try and draw them in fantasy themed roles.

Friede gave me massive Himmel vibes so I had to draw him as the hero and swords master of the party.

The fun thing about art is that it allows you to make the ideas in your head a reality regardless of how the end result looks 💛.

Hi Vee! Just wanted to say that I really like your oc, Ruri. I really wanted to see someone in the explorers amethios age that he could become friends with and then I saw Ruri, and thought see played that role perfectly, her design was on top, her backstory was even better, and Amethio actually having empathy for her, you just did everything really well!

Aww! Thank you so much ☺️! I am very happy that you liked her backstory and her character design. Designing her was extremely fun and I do agree that Amethio needs a friend a his age since a group of scheming adult colleagues does not make the cut. Expect to see a lot more of Ruri's shenanigans in the form of artworks or Fanfics and I hope you enjoy them. Once again thank you very much! You really made my day ✨.

Following the abrupt death of her parents, Ruri was immediately sent to the explorers HQ. The arrival of the young genius girl whose formulas helped with technology production for the explorers raised quite the stir and caught the attention of some of the executives. "Hmmmm... I could make make good use of that girl" thought Spinel as he smiled to himself. To him another brilliant mind would help him rise to new heights within the organisation and leave his colleagues behind in the dust. Amethio on the other hand was shocked to find out about another member his age. What worried him even more was the fact that Spinel had his sights set on her. In his eyes, a young girl with no experience of dealing with Spinel beforehand will easily fall prey to his manipulation. During the executive meeting where Ruri was being introduced Amethio locked eyes with Spinel and saw nothing but pure coldness and cruelty. He immediately knew that he would have to use every move in his disposal to get the girl to join his team or else he would live with an everlasting regret.

Vee's notes: I had a lot of fun doing this illustration and I love adding details to Pokemon trainers clothing that are reminiscent of their partner pokemon. This illustration has a more happier Ruri and shows how she opened up a little more ever since she joins Amethio's team. In the illustration above Hamber forces Amethio to take Ruri for an outing as a way to develop thicker skin. Ruri makes Amethio win the Jigglypuff plushie for her as she is curious to see how it would feel when someone she likes wins something for her. The poor Jigglypuff plushie is being subjected to his crushing grip as he fumes at Ruri and Hamber.

Here is an Artwork of a sad Ruri. Ruri's parents prevented her from socialising or learning about emotions. To them, allowing their savant daughter to experience too many emotions would not only taint her genius but would also make her more mundane. They needed her to rely purely on cold clear logic in order to come up with the most optimal products for their company. They view her as not a daughter but rather a machine that would propel them to new heights. If any emotions were shown or discussed by Ruri , she would be met with swift punishment. She learnt from a very young age that suppressing emotions was her best course of action for two reasons, The first reason was the punishment and the second reason was the anxiety it caused. For a girl who could easily deconstruct the phenomenon around her into formulae and numbers the fluidity of emotions scares her. Emotions cannot be deconstructed into numbers, they sometimes have causes but mainly carry uncertainty. In Ruri's eyes not understanding emotions makes her feel anxious so why should she bother with them.

Here are some sketches of my second Pokemon Horizons OC, Ruri along with her HIsuian Zorua, Aya and Hatterene, Kira! She is part of the explorers and is one of the resident geniuses who helps with machinery creation at the explorers HQ through her precise calculations. Her parents were scientists who owned a giant corporation and they were one of the biggest sponsors for the explorers. Their sudden deaths due to a crash crash made Ruri the sole heir to their fortune. as stipulated by her parents will , Ruri is placed under the care of the explorers in exchange for her continued sponsorship. She also has an obsession with Amethio as he is the only person in her age group that she ever got to interact with extensively in her entire life.

Here are some rough sketches of my first Pokemon Horizons OC, Wyetta. She initially worked as an assistant to Professor Sycamore where she studied in human and pokemon bonds. She also specialises in human and pokemon psychology. She joins the Rising Volt Tacklers when Friede invites her to be his assistant so that they she could help with his research while he is busy finding Rakua.

Hi! Hi! I'm Vee(She/Her🏳️‍⚧️)(Early Twenties)! I started this blog to talk about my favourite fandoms like Pokemon, Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact.

I will also be using this blog to post a lot of OC art from different fandoms and the occasional fanfic on these OC's. I also thought it would be fun to see how I improve as I post my art over time so I will be using this blog as a journal of sorts too
