Was doing the “Pinnacle of its Kind” quest in DAV where you battle the Formless One and the dragon charged at me while I was near the wall and I somehow got stuck behind the gate!! I couldn’t get back through, but the dragon was still able to hit me. So I died and had Emmrich revive me but didn’t realize he would get stuck also!

So it was just poor Lucanis running around trying to defeat the Formless One by himself.

Really made me miss being able to switch characters like in DAI.

I’m currently doing a Veilguard playthrough as Ciri from The Witcher. I made her a Grey Warden which I think would somewhat translate to the Witcher schools. And she’s primarily a two handed warrior, though unfortunately there’s no greatswords in DAV.

The hair isn’t quite as white or wild as I would have liked, but I still love her!

Ok so I played Dragon Age Inquisition years ago and played as a human (I was devasted when I first played Origins as an elf and Alistair couldn’t be with me because I was an elf so I immediately replayed the whole game as a human) anyway so I never knew Solas was a romance option (ended up romancing Blackwall). I honestly didn’t pay Solas much attention.

But after playing Veilguard, wow I was totally blown away by Solas! Such a compelling character! Didn’t even romance anyone on my first DAV playthrough because I was only interested in Solas. I replayed DAI and Trespasser to experience the romance and man, it’s so heart-wrenching and beautiful. I have a lot of respect for solavellan fans that had to wait like 9 years for some closure.

All of this to say that baldy got me good and I am now thoroughly obsessed with all things Dragon Age!
