Well... I decided to pay tribute to the work of Douglas Adams. I love the books about Dirk Gently madly. I might even say that I love them more than h2g2.

It's so cool, that there are 2 TV series and comics about Dirk, and all of them do not copy the book, but offer something new. However, my soul is given to the book version. Mr. Adams was able to create a character who, according to all laws of logic, should push away the reader, but the exact opposite happens. I drew him, trying to follow the "canon" (But there should be more chaos in the room))

Happy New year for everyone, who reads this post!

Unfortunately, last semester I had absolutely no time for drawing. And, as it always happens, I have lost my skills.

Now while I'm on holidays, I have decided to restore my relationship with creativity. The January Drawing Challenge from Pinterest helped me with this.

I will only post the works that I am most pleased with. I need this marathon to stop being afraid of mistakes and imperfect results. That's why I came up with a few rules:

1. At least one drawing a day.

2. I can't finish the work the next day.

3. Any materials, any characters, any level of difficulty.

4. Minimal processing before publication (firstly, I hate doing this, secondly, this way I will be honest with myself).

There are no words, that can describe my attitude to The league of gentlemen. I remember how I found out about this series. It was something that changed my view of comedy. I discovered the whole universe of Royston Vasey characters and I was obsessed

Some years after I watched Psychoville and Inside №9 as well. I think these things greatly influenced my future preferences in cinematography. 🐸
