Noob hugged their back against a wall, hiding as they patch themselves up. Hissing as the ointment spreads on their wounds, groaning when they pulled the bandages tight. Tears pricked at the end of their eyes before being wiped away. This is normal, they're used to this twisted game of cat and mouse. Stuck in this place to run around, fixing generators while trying to escape oncoming death from the terrifying beings that chase after their group and themselves.

Stuck in the world and not at home, playing with their friend and drinking cola together.

Stuck in this despair as if it's some kind of game for whoever is watching to enjoy.

Stuck, stuck, stuck... And yet, they've grown used to it. Used to the fear of dying, used seeing the dead bodies of their friends, used to the feeling of life leaving their body. It's depressing and so endless...

The screams of agony in the distance along with the sickly noise of bone and flesh being torn apart snaps Noob awake from their thoughts, turning their head towards the noise to only see darkness. A chill runs through their body. An awfully wicked laugh follows after the bodies are tossed aside, the laugh siffles into giggles as it becomes louder, and louder, and louder. They know that he sees them and he hears them, their heart beating quickens as the fear settles in, the terrifying game of cat and mouse now begins.

Their feet push against the ground with a tremble into a sprint to get away, thundering footsteps can be heard following after Noob. A guttural and feral growl was heard before the sound of wind moving behind Noob, barely dodging the sudden lunge at them from their old friend, biting their lip to stifle the whimper of pain from the deep scratch on their back from the attack. Holding back tears as their legs continued to run for their life, nearly stopping from the suddenly voice coming from behind them.

With a shaky breath, they looked over their shoulder to see Guest 666 but... something was different. Very different. The look in her eyes seemed to be scared, or is it their imagination as the emotion seemed to disappear in a blink of an eye.

"Why are you running? Do you plan to leave me again?" Her voice taunted, Noob could've sworn that they heard genuine hurt in it's voice. Their heart pangs in guilt for a moment before their legs began to give out, straining themselves to keep up with the chase. Noob tried to keep running as fast as they can, but it was soon going futile. Stumbling into a slow draw of their feet before collapsing onto the ground almost instantly, whimpering in pain as their back curved to hunch over. The wound still bleeding out had soaked their sweater over the chase, they silently cursed themselves as they had already used their medkit earlier. But, if they hadn't... they would've been dead by now.

"So, there you are~ I was wondering where my friend had went off to.... I found you." An oh-so familiar voice said soon followed by choked laughter. Trembling as they looked up to meet face to face with their friend. Tears once again started to pool in their eyes as they stared into ones that saw them as prey. Crawling backward each time Guest took a step towards them before bumping into the walls of the mountains that surrounded them.

Noob's lip trembled as warm tears ran down their cheeks, they were going to die. This was it, the end of the chase. They closed their eyes as they prepared themselves again to feel unbearable pain from the expected attack.

Drip.

Something wet had hit their face...

Drip.. drip...

Wait.... Wet? Noob slowed opened their eyes to see Guest towering over them, yet.... crying. There was no mistaking it this time. Noob could see the pain and fear in Guest's eyes as she stood there, tears falling from her eyes as she stared at Noob. A soft chuckle rumbled from his chest as it quickly broke into crestfallen laughter, it broke their heart to see such a sight. But, the sight could only last for so long as the chuckles turned into growls. "YOU... you.... If it wasn't for YOU leaving me.. if it WASN'T, NO, no... no, you didn't- you wouldn't have- I CAN'T STAND IT." Noob watched in horror as Guest clawed at her head in pain, a mix of pained whimpers and angered growls came from her before she dug her claws into the earth beneath her. Their sight set on Noob, tears still dripping from his eyes that were full of anger. All it took was one stab from Guest's claws to take Noob down. Noob gasped before coughing up their blood, hyperventilating as their grasped at Guest's claw, gripping it as much as their body could afford it.

They cried as their blood soaked the stuck claw, looking up from Guest's wrist, seeing a well-known blue bracelet that they had made ages ago still on it's wrists. Noob smiled at the bittersweet though that their best friend had kept their gift after all this time. They laughed a little, tottering in and out of unconsciousness from the blood lost. Their hands relaxed to hold onto the claw gently, looking up weakly at Guest with a wobbly smile.

"I knew you were still there... somewhere.... Guest"

There was nothing but silence as Noob's laughs died down before their body started to slump over. "I'm glad you're here.... I missed you...." They whispered before their body slacked. Oh.... Oh.... No.. no no no no no no no no...! Fighting back against the unknown force, Guest pulled it's claws out from Noob's body to quickly cradle it. No no no no no no no.... They looked at the dead body of their beloved friend, Noob.... Gripping onto the corpse, yet careful enough to not crush it. They held it close to their chest as they started to wail, a mix between whimpering and slurred sobbing as they hugged the body closer and closer to themselves.

Sobbing and sobbing. "I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.... I didn't want to hurt you, please, forgive me, I never wanted to hurt you." It wailed as the final tick of an invisible clock ticked.

Guest woke up back in the hideout that they stayed at with Noob. Hurriedly rushing out from their makeshift bed and looking for Noob. "Noob!? Noob, Noob where are you? NOOB, NOOB, PLEASE WHERE ARE YOU-" Their yells quickly hushed when they saw the familiar yellow and blue of their best friend resting on the couch in their 'living room'. She lunged to hug them as she cried, holding them close to her chest where they could hear her heart thumping at an inhuman pace. Their cries slowly stifled as the familiar pair of arms wrapped as much as they could around it's waist, rubbing it's side in a soothing pattern.

"It's okay... It's just another time... We're okay, we're okay..." Noob said softly to Guest, who's cries now became sniffles. Their body shook as they took a deep breath, they themselves crying quietly in Guest's hold. "We're okay, we're going to be okay, we are okay..."

Guest and Noob held onto each other until their crying fully stopped. Guest looked down at Noob once they parted a bit, a careful clawed hand patted their head. Slowly and gently petting Noob as their friend looked up at them with a soft smile. Closing their eyes as they leaned into the claw that had harmed them multiple times now. The pair calmed down fully in order to cuddle and allow Guest to rest her head on Noob's chest, whilst the other combed through her fur rhythmically, sitting in silence for a moment before Guest spoke up.

"I'm still sorry... I hate that I'm hurting you and I'm being forced to do all of this to you and your friends... I'm sorry..." Guest apologized. Noob had heard this many times before since she came here, it hurts them with how much pain Guest is in from it all. "It's okay, Six. It's just what we have to deal with, that's just how it is here unfortunately." A soft sad groan came from the larger being hearing what they said. "I'm sorry that you have to go through this every time, it's going to be okay, we have each other and forever will, okay?" Noob said as they continued to through Guest's fur.

"No, matter what you do, Guest. I won't hate you, I won't be scared of you, I'll always love and trust you... okay?" Noob looked down at Guest, who gave them a soft smile. "Okay... I love you too, I really do..." The pair laid there in the comfort of each other, soon to close their eyes to sleep. They wished that this moment could last a bit longer...

Tick...

Hmm correction to my thoughts abt phighting
