i think when Vanitas accepts he can’t merge back with Ventus but still thinks he needs Ven’s life to end his depression and dysphoria he would resort to a body swap episode. But as soon as he gets Ven’s body he’s just like. “wait. Wait this ain’t stopping my misery and feelings of worthlessness what’s wrong with me-“ meanwhile when Ven-as-Vanitas gets over the horror of being his arch-nemesis he just goes “SORA! SORA WE’RE TWINNING OMG OMG”
