This wasn't the warm greeting she was expecting! A pout formed on Nicoledelora's face as she studied the man. For her first travels outside of The Time War, this was hardly the greeting she expected! Weren't others of her kind supposed to help one another? She feared what might happen if she asked for guidance, especially with his negative outlook on life.

"I should?" She blinked, contemplating this new view on life. Humans seemed fond of happily ever after, but maybe it never existed in the first place? Maybe it was like he said, just a lie to help children sleep at night.

"My name? Oh! My name! Right, it's Nicoledelora," she answered with a grin. However, her bright expression quickly shifted to puzzlement. "I, umm, I ran. At least for a little while... But what about you? What's your name? What are you doing all the way out here?"

A groan escaped The Brute's lips as he groggily rose to wake. Where was he? One moment he was taking a walk and the next he was... The moon. For all his attempts at trying to keep track of every full moon, this one seemed to allude him.

"Fuck." He groaned, rubbing his dirt-covered face. His eyes rolled once he forced himself out of the bed. The room itself felt oddly familiar, like home. That thought alone made a chill run up his spine at the thought. Right, just get up, clean up, and get the fuck outta here! It would have been a simple task if the door wasn't locked.

"Hey!" He yelled, getting no answer. "Hey! Can anyone hear me?! Get me the fuck outta here!"

Character: The Snake Played: On Dis.cord (might add him to a separate blog)

The Snake is silent, watching the other in question. One might assume they could be friends via their similar onstage accidents. While one resorted to showing off his disfigurement, Snake sought to keep his burnt flesh hidden from the public. The illusion of hiding behind masks and makeup instilled the thought of normality. If only those who gawked at him could understand the sinister plots behind mismatched eyes.

"Do you still perform?" The question was posed in midthought as he studied the other man. "Or do you cancel on rainy days, hmm?"

Did he really have the gall to come into her home and call her unreasonable?! Did the last few months or however long she was in that hellhole mean nothing to him?

He made her fearful. He made her weak. He made her vulnerable!

All because he couldn’t get over that she left him to do better for herself.

“That’s what’ll make it so perfect. You don’t think you’ll do it, but you will. You’ll forget your silly little cult in favor of someone who actually listened to you. Or someone who used to listen to you. I’m capable of having a conversation with you, Mortis, but only if it is of use to me.”  

Her body instinctively tensed at the threat that came so willingly from him. A cold grip of fear clenched at her chest as she stood from her seated position. If he wanted to play this game again, she’d be damned to let him get the upper hand!

“Aren’t you? You haven’t given me a reason to believe otherwise. You threaten me because I won’t hear whatever nonsense you wish to spew! My life is perfectly fine without you in it, Mortis, why do you believe it isn’t?”

The Siren’s eyes bore into the shriveled worm of a man she once held respect for. A bubbling rage coursed through her veins as she listened to his pathetic excuse. That’s all he ever had, excuses. Nothing of substantial value to warrant her love and affection.

“It was rhetorical,” she snapped, the threat of venom words that were about to be spewed out. “I left you alive because I wanted the void to eat away at you. I wanted to watch as you went from standing tall to a meek excuse for all you’ve done. I wanted you to crawl on your hands and knees begging for mercy. I wanted to look down at you, press my heel into your cracking chest and tell you one word. No.”

Satisfied with her fantasy of him, The Siren sat back in her chair. Her eyes still locked on his in preparation for any response that would head her way. However, she scoffed at his request.

“Talk to me? Now why would I do that?! You’re not worth the time of day anymore, Mortis! You’re not worthy of my glance! So unless you have something of substance for me, you can let the door kick you on the way out!”

Human culture never ceased to amaze her! One moment she knew every fashion style there was out there, and the next she was being thrown for a loop. Currently the latter had been her reaction to an odd piece of clothing given to her.

"Erm..." Her brows furrowed as she studied the fabric. It looked like her style. All black with cute, shining stones. Only the amount of holes didn't line up with basic anatomy. Was it a swimsuit? A dress? A really weirdly put-together crop top with too much fabric and holes?!

"I.. umm... I'm not sure what it is, Ki, but I think once I figure it out I will! The style is very me!"
