Please, I can't cope!!!!! These panels/scenes never fail to make my knees wobble and continue to give me butterflies. UGHHHH!
I already knew what events occurred in the following stages of ParaKiss, and I'm so, soooo glad Yukari pursued her own ambitions and created a path for herself. It also feels right that Hiroyuki stepped up and swept Yukari off her feet!!!
But, you know, whenever I reach this part of the manga, I always proceed to scream, cry, throw up, slide down the wall dramatically, bang my head on the wall, rip my hair out, punch the air, and die mentally. LOL. George fucked up big time!
#paradise kiss#ai yazawa#maybe rereading parakiss after nana is a double whammy for me#everything hurts and i'm dying#kidding. i love reading and torturing myself and getting back on my feet!!!!#aaaahhh these characters and their motivations!!!#ai yazawa one of the goat i hope you are always in good health

"I know a place/It's somewhere I go when I need to remember your face" are good lines because of how true and reminiscent they are in wandering and wondering, and the way places evoke certain memories and feelings, good or bad. I'm surprised the band that I have outgrown still writes lyrics this ethereal. It reminds me of their self-titled debut album; it was angsty yet very serene and laid-back. I'm just probably feeling sentimental, that's all! :)

One day you think: I want to die. And then you think, very quietly, actually I want a coffee. I want a nap. A sandwich. A book. And I want to die turns day by day into I want to go home, I want to walk in the woods, I want to see my friends, I want to sit in the sun. I want a cleaner room, I want a better job, I want to live somewhere else, I want to live.
