☇ Yokohama was different than any city in Europe. Despite being used to dangerous work as he had to deal with problematic ability users back in his home, it seemed like Yokohama was another level of dangerous. Luca was aware of how different all cities were, yet not once had he thought it was so easy to get in the middle of a firefight with some random gangs here. ( It made him wonder why the government wasn’t doing more against the problems here. ) 

☇ He was about to move forward, hoping that his ability was enough to distract the enemies, but before he could do anything, a hand had grabbed him and yanked him away, causing him to stumble back and almost fall down. His ability instantly got nullified as well, which was rather a pity as it had seemed to work so well. Luca was about to complain when he saw why Dazai had pulled him away from the danger. A bullet had closely missed him, only a wound, almost like a cut, was visible on his cheek. 

☇ “ This… was close. Thank you. “ A hand moved up to touch his cheek, brushing some of the red liquor that started to drip down from the wound, away. It seemed like Dazai was used to such a harsh reality, one that Luca couldn’t understand and didn’t wish to understand. “ We have to get away from here or stop them. “

☇ It was no secret that it was rather questionable to let the Mafia do their things in Yokohama. Luca had often questioned it ever since he had heard about it. Most organisations, especially if they had ability users in them, were closely watched and made sure to not harm anyone else, at least in Europe. There was some fascination in the fact that Japan would let some ability users run around and cause chaos like this, leaving alone an entire Mafia doing this, yet Luca had learned that this city was anything but normal. 

☇ Ever since the Mafia had sparkled his interest, he had started to get more information on them and something did stick out to him. From everything that he could gatter, they had a child within these walls. ( A place that was not made for a child to begin with. ) The government didn’t seem to bother or at least didn’t do anything against it and once again Luca was left to wonder why this was the case. 

☇ Though it did came to a surprise that he would see that said child running around freely in the streets. For a moment he doubted his information and just wanted to brush it off but something seemed off about all of this. He could go to the child and take him with him but instead he decided to watch from afar to see if anything was going to happen and if the child would notice him or not.

☇ Yokohama was far different than any city he’d been before in Europe. It was almost like as if this city attracted dangerous ability users. Despite that, Luca had managed to find his stay rather enjoyable for the most part and getting to work alongside the Special Ability Department of the Government in Japan was a nice change for once. Today one of his co-workers, Ango, was supposed to visit someone from a smaller organisation called the Armed Detective Agency, yet this task was given to Luca as Ango was tasked with another job. Luca hadn’t complained as he received this job and instead gathered all the information he would need. Apparently he was supposed to talk to someone from that group about a recent case that had happened in Yokohama involving another ability user. ( Luca could see why they would send him as replacement for Ango to check it out. After all his original job was supposed to find a few certain ability users from Europe and bring them back. ) 

☇ As he entered the room the detectives were sitting in, his glance instantly fell to the man he was supposed to talk to. He was rather strange looking and Luca questioned if he was right for a moment, but at the end decided to make his way over to him as he already could sense the gazes from some of the others on him. 

☇ “ Hello. I’m assuming you’re Mr. Dazai. I’m Luca Anderson and I was sent instead of my colleague Ango Sakaguchi. It’s a pleasure to meet you. “ He held his hand out for a handshake. Luca hoped to get all of this done as soon as possible as he didn’t plan on staying longer than needed. “ Let’s waste no time and get down to business as my schedule is rather full and I’d prefer it if I don’t waste too much time on this here. “
