How to connect switch console to TV

One of the most fascinating things about the Nintendo Switch console is the Switch attribute it has as suggested by its name. Then the big question will be how to connect the switch console to the TV aka big screen. The steps to connect the console to a TV is straightforward and we will outline them below. But before we go further it is necessary to point out that the Nintendo Switch lite does not support the TV mode, Although it is cheap it does not give its users the big screen experience.

So, assuming you have a Switch console, you can go further with the outlined steps to connect your switch console to the TV.

Connect switch console to TV

STEP 1 — Get the Nintendo Switch Dock and open up the back cover.

STEP 2 _- Connect the USB plug labeled as AC ADAPTER from the Nintendo Switch AC adapter to the top terminal of the dock

STEP 3 — As you can see from the picture above, now connect the other end of the AC adapter to the wall outlet.

STEP 4 — Connect the HDMI cable to the bottom terminal of the Dock that is labeled HDMI OUT

STEP 5 — Now you will need to connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of your TV or monitor of choice

STEP 6 — Close the Nintendo Switch dock’s back cover.

STEP 7 — Remove the Joy-Con controllers. Insert the console into the dock but the LCD screen needs to face the front. The LCD screen will turn off after getting docked so you know you’re on the right track.

STEP 8 — Now turn on your TV, head to the correct HDMI source and you’re good to go!

Note: Make sure that the power cable and HDMI cable are firmly inserted into the dock. If they’re not tightly fitted, the Switch will not show on the TV screen.
