We’ve officially launched our new appless roleplay if you want to check it out!

Hello applicants! Unfortunately at this time it doesn’t look like we’re going to get enough applicants for us to open. Even with constant advertising in the tags, the hit count is pretty much going dead and we only have applications for 3 characters. This isn’t the end, but it does look like I’ll have to re-evaluate how to do this. In all likelyhood, I’ll be relaunching this roleplay in the next few weeks in appless form and when I do I’ll throw up the link for it. So sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully I’ll get the chance to roleplay with you all soon!

If we'd like to make a character non-binary, do we list it under the character biography section?

Yes, that would definitely work! Just be sure to put what pronouns they use so I can update accordingly.

Could Melissa Bennoist work as Jenny Riley?

Melissa Benoist is actually older than Taron Egerton who plays her much older brother Joey. But I could see her working as Bailey Adams, Iris Rowe, or Rebecca Owens.

Dove Cameron and Thomas Doherty have both made ableist comments referring to depression as a “choice”.

Can you see Auli'i Cravalho working anywhere?

I think that Auli’i would be a great fit as Fallon Lennon, we could just age her down a year to reflect the fact that Auli’i is younger.

I think Brittany O’Grady, Greta Onieogou, Halle Bailey, Khadijha Red Thunder, Kiana Madeira, Paulina Singer, Pepi Sonuga, Quintessa Swindell, Samantha Logan, Yara Shahidi, Zendaya Coleman, and Zoe Love Smith would all work!

are we limited to the faceclaims set for the character or are we allowed to change them?

You’re welcome to change them, but please run them by us. And keep in mind we don’t want to whitewash any characters of color.

Aside from the 4 muses on the sidebar, who are your most wanted characters?

We’d love to see absolutely any members of Team Rocket, as well as our officers who would be trying to catch them. As far as our individuals go, we’ve got an application for Hayley Adams and I’m sure she’d love to see her sister, Bailey Adams. And I’d personally love to see Ellie Young and Ravi Karan since they’re a good bit of fun.

Is this RP para-only or can characters communicate in other ways?

This is absolutely not para only, interactions will take place primarily through gif chats and text posts. However, you’re welcome to para, f2f, or use airmail to communicate with other trainers. Although be careful about looking them straight in the eyes, or they may think you want to battle.

Can we change a character's starter Pokemon?

If you refer to our FAQ, “Typically no. The admins have done significant work to make sure each starter is accurate to the region and personal backstory of each trainer. It's really easy to acquire more Pokemon and no-one says you have to be the most bonded with your starter.”

In fact, you will receive another Pokemon instantly upon joining the Pokedex Challenge from Professor Oak.

Is this the same victory road from forever ago? Why are you guys missing characters?

It is the same roleplay from three years ago (almost four!) reloaded! We have a lot of the same characters in 2.0, I rewrote some of the bios that I felt were weaker and changed some of the names to reflect new faceclaim choices. There have also been three new regions added since the last roleplay launched and therefore I chose to include a lot of new characters from 2/3 and discard some of the ones I felt were weaker from the first round rather than keep them and completely exclude Kalos and Alola until the next batch comes out.
