Hello zinesters!

It's crea+ion zine again, reminding you that there's still time to apply! In fact, we have extended the deadline to July 31st for all of you interested artist who may be short on time.

Here's a quick reminder of all the art we accept:

- What can I submit?

Writing:

Personal essays (max ~1200 words)

Poetry (up to 3 poems)

Short stories or experimental prose (max ~1500 words)

Letters, manifestos, testimonies (max ~1200 words)

Visual Work:

Digital/traditional art

Photography

Collage, scanned sketchbooks

Comics or illustrated poems

Mixed media or experimental works

Remember, all of this on the theme of our first issue: Art&War.

What comes to your mind when you think of war?

How can you express your concerns through art?

How can art shape the way we think of war and conflict?

How does violence affect the way we make art?

You can explore questions like this in our zine, or interpret the theme in any other way you like.

We accept works previously published on social media as long as they weren't made for another zine or publication that forbids reposting. You will retain full rights to your work, and will be free to use it however you please once the zine in published.

Remember, with this free non-profit zine we encourage people to donate to the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund. Information about this and other topics can be found in this comprehensive overview document.
