some sprites I made of my friends' PCs to use in Foundry for our pf2e campaign. There's even some of my characters too! (I used some of them as NPCs)
they were based on pokemon gen 4 overworld sprites and made with a 32 color palette

Shulk is initially emotionally and mentally reliant on Fiora at the start of the game and pretty clingy towards her. However when Shulk loses Fiora he had to slowly become more reliant on himself as well as his new found allies.
It makes complete sense that by the time Fiora and Shulk reunite he's less reliant on her. In turn Fiora knows she doesn't have long left to live so she wants to spend the rest of her time left with Shulk. I don't get the argument that her only character trait is 'loving Shulk'.
Fiora is dying, she had her body parts cut out and replaced with mechanical parts which means she can't have a normal life again. Fiora has to slowly accept that she'll die soon and enjoy the time she has left.
Obviously everything turned out for the best in the end but the events of the game changed Shulk and Fiora's relationship for the better in the end. They became closer due to understanding each other's struggles and accepting their dark sides.
This is why I love Shulk and Fiora's relationship so much. They were close friends for years, albeit with their own struggles of self worth and worries they don't belong in the world. They fall in love with each other more and more across the game, they mean so much to me.
#thiissssssss#god i could have a ted talk about fiora and how her growth as a person (and in her relationship with shulk) is ignored by plenty of people#xenoblade chronicles#i love them

"At his side lived his brother, the irreverent and violent Seth."
Found another illustration by Marguerite Divin, which I love, this time from the myth of Isis and Osiris.
