I agree with you anon. He’s just grown up. I think this whole tour cycle has been about that for him. All I want for him is to be happy and healthy. Hopefully the hiatus gives him that.

I feel like Matty’s in a phase of not wanting to bother with image just now hence the “uniform” of shirts and smart trousers and the shaving off of the hair. It feels a bit like pressing the off switch on his public image just now and I respect that. He needs peace and downtime and to just BE for a bit.

Listen, I’ve missed the skirts since 2019 😭😭 Yeah we are fully in the era of spinning stories out of fan pics and vids taken across a room and shots of the back of heads and it’s feeling very pandemic-y for those of us who were around these parts in those days 😭 But we have summer coming and other gigs to enjoy and hopefully some Matty and G solo material.

I feel like Matty needs to be loved and chosen by a cat - basically he is a cat who thinks he needs the love of a dog but really he needs another cat. It’s a metaphor for self-acceptance and self-love. Or something. This is turning into a load of absolute wank 🤣🤣 I know that Matty and cats is my absolute comfort combo!
