I love watching my boyfriends brain crap out when he finds out about my past.

By my past I mean I used to be obsessed with anime, comics and the like. I was a lil nerdy nerd. I'm not anymore, but he is into them.

I think he thinks I'm faking it aswell because I literally don't give two damns about that stuff anymore.

I'm gonna be absolutely wild here.

Just because someone has wild beliefs you don't agree with, doesn't mean you shouldn't read their books.

(This is not about Neil Gaiman, he can get bent)

If someone is a right winger with a very popular and loved self help book you are still allowed to read it. Just read it in context of this man is a right wing man.

You don't need to agree with everything in a book to get something from it. You don't even need to agree with anything in a book to get something from it.

Humans are fickle and stupid at the best of times, but we are still humans and we still have knowledge to share.

At the very least you can read it to understand the enemy.

I said screw it and brought an obviously overpriced dropshipped piece of crap the other day.

And its kind of my best purchase all year. Its brought me so much peace and joy. Its brought together my evening routine so nicely.

And I hate it.

literally though if you feel like your life is slipping through your fingers and every day goes too fast… try doing hard things, not just taking the easy route, like reading and making art and exercising and cooking a meal from scratch and journaling, doing these things without distraction, without being absorbed on a screen… the time will stretch and you’ll be reminded that life is long and beautiful if you make it so.

I hate hustle culture so much.

Like I wanna learn things, but my brain is like no. How do we monetise this. There is no point unless money.

Shout out to my ex that tried to convince me to move to some tiny village in the middle of Europe where I don't speak the language, and have multiple babies with him.

I was 18, he was 29.

And shout out to me for panicking last minute so I didn't go. He drove all the way to the airport to pick me up and blew up my phone while I ghosted him.

Knowing its going to lead to a breakdown and a half when you are finally given the news.

I love the argument that women dress sl*tty for men.

Because if men suddenly vanished from the earth for a day? I would be tanning nude on my porch. I would be wearing the shortest little skirt with my cheeks peeping out. Crop tops with no bra galore.

But no, men exist, so I put a bra on when I go take out the trash. I wear a baggy shirt at the gym.

Presenting: The Radical Feminist E-Library

Hey y'all I'm Ladie, and for the past year I've been collecting PDF and EPUB copies of feminist literature in my digital library.

I have well over a thousand copies of radical feminist texts and obscure, vintage feminist literature from the second wave. I have books covering a wide array of feminist and political subjects.

From black feminism, to lesbian feminism and lesbian history, to books documenting the sex industry, to women's history, and much more!

updated radical feminist library

the radical feminist library, by aggrolesbo/ladielabrys, is great. but it has a lot of repeated and illegible files, and without the proper authors so it gets difficult to search for things. I cleaned it put and then added a lot more books recommended across the internet. Plus very good releases by suny press and routledge.

i separated the trans folder from the rest of the library so you can send it to people who would otherwise be turned off.

If you have any recommendations i would be glad to add it!

bell hooks mentioned going through a time in her life where she was severely depressed and suicidal and how the only way she got through it was through changing her environment: She surrounded her home with buddhas of all colors, Audre Lorde’s A Litany for Survival facing her as she wakes up, and filling the space she saw everyday with reinforcing objects and meaningful books. She asks herself each day, “What are you going to do today to resist domination?” I also really liked it when she said that in order to move from pain to power, it is crucial to engage in “an active rewriting of our lives.”

So I've been busy...

It took about 2 and a half hours and was nerve wracking for every step but I modded my iPod classic and turned it into a very personal and special super nugget. It has 128gb of flash storage on it and it is so much lighter and faster than it was. I absolutely adore it and I am so happy with it! Take a look!
