Whenever a magical boy is turned into a monster (Gora, Kinshiro, Ata) they mostly stay human-looking, just get some new features like a mask or red eyes.
Iirc the only non-magical boy monster who stays human-looking after being transformed is Igarao Oyaji from S1E4. Would be funny if he has some aptitude to being a magical boy even if he never got a chance to become one...

Got my bluray today, and had to share this one clip in HD. It's literally two seconds, no plot spoilers, just some of the adult designs. Made me laugh when watching it the first time.

Beppu's father headcanon
Beppu’s father worked “for space” at the time of CIDE being made. While CIDE was on the peak of its popularity, a short time after his kids were attacked by a monster, he was “transferred” to another planet. Just before the show was cancelled he told the twins they were going to go back to Earth “right away”, but then his stay suddenly was “extended”… just a night before Dadacha appeared and offered Beppu brothers his deal.
(I started to think about it and got carried away...sorry)
I wonder – was his work connected to CIDE from the start? Was he some kind of Press Society predecessor – a human willingly working with aliens for an Earth-destruction reality show?
Or maybe he was an ordinary human before his kids were attacked? After it happened, he tried to find out what the whole Maximum Gorar thing was about…and after finding the truth, he got offered a job (remember that shade in a twins flashback in S2E11?). Kids were just told it was transfer to another place of work – they were kids, they didn’t need any details.
However it was, it probably felt like the Earth was doomed – there was the lone magical boy for Earth vs a technologically advanced alien army for CIDE, after all. It made sense to leave the planet before it was too late, if you wanted to live - and if you wanted your kids to stay safe. They already survived a monster attack –who would guarantee that it will be the only attack they would have to face?
And so, Beppu family leaved for Andromeda. Of course twins’ father had to work overtime – he was a single father who had to provide for the family of three. He also was not just a foreigner – a literal alien “out in the sticks”, moreover - from the planet that was planned to be destroyed on TV for the amusement of the public. Of course he had to work very hard to earn something.
That left kids often being alone and neglected, and they were struggling in school (to put it mildly). But hey, at least they were safer there than if they had been on Earth, right?
Then the unimaginable happened - Maximum Gorar succeeded. Maybe with Beppu father working on CIDE, he found out the inside information about the show cancellation sooner than it was officially announced. It was safe to return now (and nobody on Earth would have known why they left in the first place).
He told Aki and Haru – hey, kids, we are going home soon. They probably looked happier than they had in the last couple of years.
But then Dadacha appeared on the scene no pun intended.
How did he find twins? Were they on his potential talents’ list since that CIDE episode with Aki biting a monster them encouraging Gorar? Or was it for some other reason, like with them being aliens from Earth (not like there were a lot of them at Andromeda, I suppose) and Earth gaining some sort of popularity because of Gorar? Honestly, who knows?
Anyway, what if Dadacha approached twins’ father first? He was their guardian after all, and they still were just kids. Such things should be first discussed between adults.
Maybe it was a talk about money – Beppu Sr. still was a single father of two who probably couldn’t provide them with much. And maybe, just maybe, there was also a talk about the Earth. And about Dadacha’s older brother let’s assume Zundar also worked for the first CIDE I don’t remember this part of the lore who might have his own inside information – there might be a return of CIDE somewhere in the future. The Earth is still not safe – it probably will never be.
But hey, there might still be a bright future for your kids! They might become rich and successful here, at Andromeda, despite being Earthlings – we will even make it a part of their charm! Of course they would have to work hard for the next few years, but wouldn’t it all be worth it if they succeeded?
(being an idol is not a safest thing either, but this is not the "living at the planet that might be destroyed in every moment" kind of "not safe")
So that’s how Aki and Haru were told the father’s stay was extended. They would have never choose “right”  if the choice was ‘go back on Earth in a near future VS stay in space and become idols”. So it was necessary that “their” “choice” looked like “not going to the Earth in the foreseeable future VS maybe reaching Gorar someday in some way”. And they were kids – back then they probably didn’t think too much about why Dadacha found them in particular and knew what to offer. Beppu’s father, however neglectful he might have seemed, surely knew about twins’ admiration of Gorar….
And so it happened – “for their own good”. Dadacha probably got a custody over twins one day (as we don’t hear anything about their father’s presence in their life anymore). It probably was excused as necessary too – so Dadacha could pay for twins’ idol training,  watch over them (a lot more than his biological father could ever) etc.
Whatever happened to the father after this? Who knows... and who cares? Even in this scenario he worked for the force that wanted to destroy his homeland, lied to his kids and eventually sold them into the show business industry. Doesn’t sound like a good parent, and I don’t think twins care about him too much.
(but still – I want to think he cared about his kids, at least somehow.)

Headcanon: twins never actually watched CIDER - they only watched moments with Gora's cameos  (and were outraged by him becoming a monster in the final episode - they would have never allowed such thing to happen with their hero!). So their knowledge  of CIDER was mostly based on other people's reviews and discussion on it in the alien internet.
That led to Aki and Haru having some....misunderstanding about the show's 'characters' and their relationship. You know, like when you read some discussion on the show you know nothing about, and decide that its main character is a character A., when in reality A. is just the most popular character in the fandom who canonically only appears in the second half of the story? And with ships…well, you know how it works.
It doesn’t mean a lot for twins – they don’t care about anyone from the  show except for Gora. So these misunderstandings just settle in the back of their minds.
Until they start hanging out with the Defense Club post-S2, and these misunderstandings starts  to float to the surface.
From thinking that Akoya and Io are childhood friends, just because of a poorly worded character analysis of the second-years on the aliens’ Tumblr. To having some really weird ideas about what actually happened between KinAtsuIbuEn.
It’s not a big deal, for the most part – twins try to keep their “But aren’t you – oh,nevermind“ to themselves. But sometimes…yeah, sometimes it does get a little awkward.
Like when second-years are gossiping about the third-years and the kinatsu’s ‘miscommunication/misunderstanding/misapprehension’ comes up, and then it turns out that Haruhiko is thinking that the whole S1 drama happened because of Arima. Somehow. And Haru is sure it’s a common knowledge so he shares it nonchalantly and moves on to the next theme, leaving AkoIoRyuu really confused.

Btw, it's been 10 years, but I'm still salty we hadn't got Caerula Adamas reaction to finding out Battle Lovers and their mascot are regularly taking a bath with a corpse of their teacher that they killed. Twice.
CA were pretty chill with Tawarayama floating around them in S1E12, but I truly believed back then that we would get like a manga chapter with student council (post-S1 final battle) questioning BL why Tawarayama is always with them and getting "oh, Wom-san is in process of resurrecting sensei after killing him" as an answer. And then wondering for a moment if they really ended up on good guys' side...

Haru and Aki have been through alot more than what was shown in canon, leaving them very traumatized, which is the reason why they're the way they are now. It was hard on both of them, but especially Haru who feels things alot more, but Aki is basically his protector now, though they both endured the same trauma it hit so differently.

It's the way Akoya has a fear of being laughed at, starting from his childhood and the whole "Gero/vomit" thing. And how in OVA he assumes that IoRyuu are mocking him when they applaud to...whatever Akoya did at that scene in-universe. And instantly goes into defense mode:

And IoRyuu immediately assure him that no, they genuinely think he’s cool:

It’s just… so sweet ._. I really wish we had more AkoIoRyuu being friends in canon (it's good we might see it in the movie)
