a test of endurance
i got an ask that inspired me and went a little insane. So more Furina content! this is actually a little more of a personal piece too (haha put too much of my experience in the fic, whhhhhoops) but i hope its something other people can also indentify with!
no explicit ships but my bias is... visible.
obligatory disclaimer; this is a sfw tickle fic meant to be consumed by all ages, nothing nsfw is intended or implied o7 - also, more heavy Fontaine 4.2 spoilers, would reccomend having completed the Archon Quests up to the end of 4.2 & potentially Furina's personal quest before reading.
Tumblr media
It was the 40th year into her godhood when the concept was introduced to her for the first time.
It was around 10:14 in the morning. She had finished her cake, and stood before her usual mirror as the tailor came in. While most of her wardrobe had been premade designs up to this point, the Archon wanted – and deserved, of course – the latest in fashion, tailor-made to her tastes. Hence the commission.
“You’re early,” She’d chirped brightly. And the woman, chuckling, nodded, giving an awkward little bow around the massive bag she carried.
“Of course, I wasn’t going to risk being late for our esteemed Lady of Justice!”
“Very good! Early is on time, as they say! I actually value punctuality quite a bit, you know.”
“Then I am glad to be of full service to my Archon. Shall we?”
With all other staff quickly shooed from the room, Furina stripped down to her base layer – a simple undershirt and underwear – and stood more than a little awkwardly before the mirror, very suddenly hesitant to have another person see the closest thing to her truest self. She cast the tailor a look, smiling nervously.
“... Ahh… Are you quite sure we couldn’t have done this with the clothes on?”
“Please, Lady Furina, be at ease! We’re just taking measurements – wouldn’t be able to do that accurately with all the layers in the way. I promise not to judge you, if that’s what you’re worried about.”
“No – no, not at all! Forgive me, I’m just… Unused to this, is all.”
She watched in the mirror as the tailor procured a measuring tape from her oversized bag of wonders, approaching her from behind and offering a comforting pat on the shoulder and smile.
“I understand. It can’t be too often that a mortal personally measures an Archon! Just relax – it shouldn’t take long at all. Hold your arms out like this, would you?”
Furina mimicked her T-pose, staring at herself incredulously in the mirror, and the tailor chuckled at her expression, starting with measuring her height. And, to her credit, Furina found herself at ease as the woman made small talk about a recent court case they’d both sat in on.
It went south when the measuring tape was wrapped around her waist, and the tailor pressed her thumb a little too sharply into Furina’s side, sending an utter jolt up through her entire body that caused her arms to fly down and undignified squawk to leave her lips.
“Ah… My apologies, Lady Furina, did I hurt you?”
“N-no! I don’t… Think so?” The sensation certainly hadn’t been pain, but it wasn’t necessarily pleasurable, either – so… “What… Was that?”
She slowly lifted her arms, and the tailor tilted her head. She seemed to weigh something in her mind before giving the Archon’s side another experimental pinch, making her fold slightly with yet another jarring noise.
“Aie! S - stop that!”
“I see… Please forgive me, Lady Furina, I didn’t know you were ticklish.”
11:04, in the springtime of her 40th year. The first time the word hit her ears. The first time it made her gut fizzle and her face heat up, puzzling her to no end.
“... Ticklish? What… What is that?”
“Oh, I suppose it would be foreign to an Archon, huh…” The tailor blinked, then laughed softly, pulling her hands back so that Furina could relax; “It’s described as a sensation between pleasure and pain. Usually, people use it as a bonding method when they’re rough-housing. Most people dislike it, though.”
“... Oh.”
That… Really explained very little, if she was honest, but she felt embarrassed enough without reopening that can of worms. Besides, she was much more preoccupied with the tailor lifting her measuring tape to pick up where they left off. Just the possibility made her reflexively clamp her arms down again, her face burning, and the tailor laughed.
“Rest assured, Lady Furina, I’ll be more careful this time! It won’t happen again.”
“R-right… On with it, then…”
She managed to pull her arms back up again, and though she flinched preemptively as the tape went around her waist, the expected sensation never came, and the rest of their business went on as normal.
Yet, as the door closed behind the tailor, Furina grappled with a sense of disappointment and confusion, glancing back at herself in the mirror for an answer that didn’t come.
-
It was 2:45 pm on her 234th year. She was in the secret study, books scattered around her, and her nose buried in a dictionary, of all things.
It was possible, perhaps, that a solution could be found even in such an unlikely place. Desperation and futility drove her to search in odder and odder forms for even a sliver of hope – though, admittedly, by now she’d allowed herself to get distracted learning several words she’d never heard before, saying them out loud to herself and trying to find ways to work them into everyday vocabulary.
And that was when she flipped the page and saw it.
tickle verb tick·le ˈti-kəl  tickled; tickling ˈti-k(ə-)liŋ  1: to touch (a body part, a person, etc.) lightly so as to excite the surface nerves and cause uneasiness, laughter, or spasmodic movements 2: to excite or stir up agreeably; to provoke to laughter or merriment  they were tickled by the clown's antics. 3: to touch or stir gently a pianist tickling the ivories.
Of course, all variations of the word were there, and Furina felt her heart stop for a solid moment, fixated on the page. She didn’t quite understand why even reading the definition of the word made her stomach do flustering, wanting flips, but she couldn’t bring herself to look away.
The blood rushing in her ears must’ve deafened her, too, because she didn’t notice her assistant in the room until he hesitantly tapped her shoulder, making her jump and slam the book shut, her face flushed and burning with embarrassment as she whipped to face him.
“What?! What! Have you forgotten how to knock?!”
“I-I did, Lady Furina, multiple times! I spoke your name, too, but to no response! Forgive me for startling you, it was not my intention!”
She released a soft breath at the man’s terrified and apologetic look, pausing to rub her temples and gather her wits.
“I… See. I apologize for snapping at you. Any updates?”
“N-no, Lady Furina. I just came to tell you that the teams are turning in for the day. The search was fruitless again.”
“Understood. Thank you for keeping me in the loop.”
The man gave a terse nod, and Furina watched him go for a moment before speaking up again, making him freeze.
“By the by… How much did you see?”
“... I saw nothing, Lady Furina.”
“Good. You’re dismissed!”
His shoulders slumped with relief, and he hurried out of the room. Furina waited until she heard the door close down the hall before she slumped down herself, with defeat and exhaustion rather than relief.
She really had to get the idea out of her head.
It was 5:45 in the evening, in the winter of her 300th year exactly, when she weighed her options.
Sitting on Neuvilette’s desk, today, she flipped through old case files with him, hardly focused on the words on the page – she knew the damned things by heart at this point, anyway, and she was sure he did too. This was all routine, and all they were really supposed to do was look at the dates and decide which cases could he safely archived and vaulted, and which should stay accessible. Yet, it had been a fun trip down memory lane for the both of them, recalling absurdities and tragedies during the court cases that brought them nostalgia.
The Iudex was the closest thing Furina had to a friend, in her opinion. He was a rock that she could cling to, for better or worse, which made the lying she had to do sting so much more… She could only hope moments like this more than made up for it.
Which brought her to her current internal struggle.
The concept of tickling had been weighing on her mind again. More than once, when these moods struck her, she had tried tickling herself, using makeup brushes and fallen feathers from various accessories to scratch the itch, as it were – yet, if anything, she only grew itchier.
She had profited, relatively recently, from a one-on-one with one of her nation’s independent researchers, when they requested an audience. It just so happened that they had a little interest in the topic on a scientific level, and were more than happy to share details with their curious Archon – confirming, among many other things, that she could not do it to herself.
A pity. But a truth that now led her to her conundrum; would it be weird to get Neuvillette to do it?
Furina thought they were close. It should be fine. And yet – what if he thought less of her for being curious, or, Celestia forbid, liking it? He would never tell the people, but if he ended up disgusted, she would never be able to look him in the eye again.
Yet, on the other hand… He was always tolerant of her drama and antics, and she’d certainly known him long enough to recognize when he was hiding a smile. Maybe he’d like it, too, and they’d have something more to bond over? Or, at the very least, he’d be tolerant and understanding of it.
“Lady Furina, are you quite alright? You’ve been staring at the same page for awhile.”
His voice cut through her thoughts and made her jump, blushing lightly as she side-eyed him. He wasn’t even looking at her, flipping a page in his own file while she cleared her throat and laughed, theatrical as ever.
“But of course! I was just reminiscing on all of these cases! It is great fun to revisit them, from time to time.”
“Hmm.”
He seemed content enough with that answer. Furina stared at him for a moment, her smile falling as she returned to her quandary for the briefest of moments – and decided to commit, stretching her arms up over her head with a dramatic groan.
“Ugh, but sitting here for so long makes one so stiff!”
“You’re welcome to walk around the office to stretch your limbs for a moment, if you’d like.”
Still, Neuvillette hadn’t looked up, and she dropped her arms, swallowing a sigh. She kicked her legs for a moment, looking around for some other way to hint him towards what she wanted. Her gaze settled on the stack of closed files across the desk from her, just barely out of reach, and she smiled, snapping her current case shut and reaching across the desk before him, grunting theatrically with the effort of her stretch.
Neuvillette, finally, looked up from the page – and sighed, taking the file from Furina’s hand and adding it to the pile for her.
“If you need help, just say so.”
“Oh… Thanks…”
She drew her hand back into herself and wilted a bit, the disappointment eating at her. Neuvillette stared at her for a moment before humming, shutting his own file.
“Is… Something wrong?”
“Ah – n-no, no! Nothing at all!”
Furina forced a smile, perking herself back up stiffly, and Neuvillette tilted his head a little, his own expression carefully neutral.
“Are you sure? If there’s anything I can do, you need only ask.”
She felt heat rush to her face at the simple notion of verbalizing her request. Somehow, the idea made her throat feel tight, and the flight instinct kicked in as she hopped off the desk, shaking her head.
“No no no! There’s nothing wrong, I’m just… Hungry! Are you hungry? I’ll fetch us a cake, and we can take a break! Be right back!”
Leaving no room for Neuvillette to get a word in edgewise, she turned and hurried out the room, her cheeks hot and heart hammering.
Neuvillette, for his part, simply watched her go with a faint smile and a sigh, shaking his head.
“One day…”
Why are her nails so long.
It was 1:13 pm in the early spring of her 499th year when she met with Arlecchino for their usual tea, and the first time that she had noticed the Harbinger’s – let’s face it, claws – practically pierced through her gloves.
Furina shoveled cake into her mouth, already fuelled by nervousness, but the nails drumming against the surface of the table across from her only added new butterflies to the mix. Arlecchino prattled on about something or another, but Furina had long since stopped listening, plagued by unbidden fantasies.
For example, feeling those nails scratching ruthlessly at her underarms. Or having her blouse unbuttoned so that they could trace the expanse of her stomach uninhibited. Or having her leg be seized and the back of her knee tormented by the spidering claws. Or –
“ – Don’t you think so, Lady Furina?”
“... Huh?”
She blinked, her face flushing as she realized she hadn’t been listening at all. Arlecchino sighed, leaning back in her chair and crossing her arms.
“Honestly, you’re more distracted than usual, today. What are you so hung up on?”
“A-aaahhh, nothing! Nothing at all,” She giggled nervously, trying and failing to recover from the blunder; “I’m just… Still excited! For the magic show tonight!”
“Ah… Well, it does give me heart to hear that my children have the Archon’s attention. I hope their wellbeing has her heart, too.”
Arlecchino’s motivated stare made Furina stiffen, and she offered a tight-lipped smile, nodding furtively.
“Of course, of course! The wellbeing of my people is always my priority. That being said, I think we should call it here, so I have time to get ready.”
“As you wish. It’s been a pleasure, as always.”
They shared a tense nod, and Furina stood up first, stiffly walking out of the room as Arlecchino’s nails haunted her thoughts on the way out.
I’m going to go insane.
“What time is it?”
“Hmm… 9:52, I think.”
“Okay… Okay.”
It was 9:52 pm in the early autumn of her 500th year when it finally, finally happened.
“You remember the rules?”
“Ugh… Yes.”
“And you remember the safewords?”
“Dendro, Geo, Pyro.”
“Good girl. Are you ready?”
In her bed, in her humble apartment, Furina was no longer an Archon, and Navia was no longer her enemy; rather, the young woman straddled her waist all-too-comfortably, keeping Furina’s body pinned to the bed. The ex-primadonna herself grasped the headboard desperately to keep herself under control, her skin already buzzing with anticipation.
“Oh my god, yes, just do it already!”
“Ask nicely…”
“Navia!”
Navia laughed, endlessly amused by how flustered and on edge Furina was, and finally lifted her hands, forming claws with her fingers. She feinted a lunge, and Furina flinched, but kept her arms up, her knuckles going white as her arms shook and she whined.
“C-come onnn, haven’t I already waited long enough?!”
“Okay, okay… You’re right.”
Sticking out her tongue, Navia lunged again – but, this time, she grasped Furina’s sides and squeezed repeatedly, and Furina practically shrieked, her arms already flying down to uselessly clamp over her assailants hands.
“Oh, you’ve already lost,” Navia tutted, anything but disappointed; “Guess that means you have to take the punishment.”
“Khheehee – you’re so meheehee – mehEHEAAN TO ME!”
Furina cackled, throwing her head back and kicking uselessly as Navia slipped her hands under her nightshirt and scribbled across her skin with her own manicured nails, giggling right along.
“I know. And you love it.”
And, of course, Navia was right; she really did.
The wait was worth it.

okay COOL
on that note if you wanted to write a lee!furina drabble u totally should!
The Knave, on first glance, is not one to be interested in childish activities like tickling. Those who know her well will confirm — she is not that type of person.
So, then, Furina finds herself wondering — how did she end up here?
"P-please," she gasps, pressing her back against the wall, her mind occupied by nothing but get away, get away, get away.
Arlecchino makes a hm, hands crawling up Furina's sides, calculated and so horribly ticklish. "Please what, my lady?"
Furina wails, turning her head to the side so she won't have to see just how calm Arlecchino looks. "Stohohop!"
"Oh, I would," says Arlecchino, lying through her teeth. "But, see, I'm actually rather enjoying this. And you are too, aren't you, Lady Furina?"
"A-ahabsurd!" Furina cries, knees buckling as she slides down the wall to the ground, Arlecchino following her the whole way. Her cheeks grow redder than they already were, and she uselessly hopes that it will go unnoticed, though she knows full well that it won't. "Thihis is ahahawful! St-stohop it, I demahahand ihit—!"
The last part of her sentence merges with a squeal, embarrassingly high-pitched. Her back arches, desperate to escape the torturous nails clawing at her upper ribs.
"Perhaps," Arlecchino says, "if you beg a little more."

Furina being sassy.
Furina running her mouth and somewhere in her rambles, mentioning that she's more powerful than Neuvillette so she is right and he is wrong.
Furina quickly fixing her mistake when Neuvillette gives her the look™ and babbles that if he wants her to give a demonstration of her powers, she won't give it because her power is too abnormally dangerous, but she can prove it otherwise if he's doubting her!
Furina panicking and finding her way out by proposing a tickle fight because it'll be a way friendlier and safer method to show off her strength and prove her point without having to show the powers she doesn't have - even though Neuvillette literally did not ask or say anything, he's just staring.
Furina getting effortlessly tickled to death by an expressionless yet mildly amused Neuvillette who then proceeds to talk about the business they were discussing before Furina needlessly dug her own grave, and she just stays sprawled on the floor in a heap of shame and embarrassment.
Neuvillette winning their argument 🎉

Finally. Women in the Genshin Content tag. Let's Go Lesbians
usual disclaimer; safe-for-work tickling content ahead, very cute, very fluffy - also very vague 4.2 spoilers? but you wouldn't get it without context so it should be okay for the uninitiated o7

Being human comes with a lot of fun little quirks.
Furina loves being human.
Furina does not, however, quite enjoy the prideful appearance she's been forced to keep for so long – so it's very nice and refreshing to finally have more and more friends at her side to drop that guard around.
At least, it's certainly nicer for Clorinde to no longer be alone in suffering Furina's drama, because –
"Would y – eeEEeeh! Ahaha – help mehehe already…!"
Paimon shuffled awkwardly in the air, glancing towards the Champion Duellist.
"Should we, um, do something…?"
"No. Let it run its course… She'll be fine."
Lumine snorted softly, biting down her smile in an attempt to look as bemused as Clorinde when Paimon looked over haplessly. Before the three of them, taking advantage of their relative privacy and distance from society, was poor Lady Furina, her arms held above her head by Gentilhomme Usher – thus allowing Surintendante Chevalmarin and Mademoiselle Crabaletta to pinch and prod at her torso, sending her into the undignified fit of giggles she was in now.
( very necessary A/N; the names of furina's staff are needlessly complicated even for a french speaker. sweet jesus. )
"Ahaha – y-you – yohohou are cruel! How c-cohould you fff – ahaha! – forsahake me this way?!"
"Lady Furina has a habit of, er…. Well, this," Clorinde explained poorly, nodding her head towards the scene with a tired look; "I gave up on actually helping after the first dozen repeat offenses."
The traveling pair nodded, exchanging a mildly amused look between themselves as Paimon took over replying for them both.
"Don't worry, we get it… We've got a few friends who are very similar, ehe…!"
Lumine nodded as well, turning her gaze back to Furina's song and dance. From the way her legs shook, it seemed like she'd collapse if Usher released her arms; and though she was flushed in the face, she also seemed genuinely happy…
It made the traveler's fingers itch, and she hummed, glancing towards her fairy friend.
"Hey, Paimon – since we're just waiting, why don't you and Clorinde scout up ahead? I'll stay here to keep her safe if anything creeps up on us."
"But…"
Paimon started to object, but shut her jaw with an audible click when their gazes met, her eyes widening with sudden understanding. Offering a more nervous smile, Paimon nodded quickly, whipping back to Clorinde.
"... R-right! Come on, miss Clorinde!"
"Right. Shout if you need help."
Almost grateful for the out, Clorinde marched up the path, Paimon hovering just beside her as she went. Lumine watched until they disappeared through a few trees before approaching the giddy Furina, waving her arms to shoo away her staff members.
"Alright, that's enough…"
"... Haah, ahah… ah –!"
Abruptly, they disappeared with a burst of bubbles, and, as predicted, Furina collapsed entirely, opting to commit entirely to the fall and flop back onto the grass, her hat rolling away when she landed.
"Ahh, ow… haah, you could've been faster with the save, you know…"
"Oh, please, you could've gotten yourself out of it anytime," Lumine giggled, crouching beside the Chief Justice and savouring the flustered glare her comment got.
"Y-yes, well! Perhaps I was testing your friendship – looking to see how fast you would save me if I was in dire straits!"
"Oh, you're testing something, alright…"
The traveler shifted, somehow managing to straddle Furina where she lay before she had a chance to react – though it was less than graceful, with how their skirts overlapped. Furina stared up at Lumine with shock, stammering wordlessly while the blonde traveler smiled, a mischievous glimmer in her eye.
"I've got a question for you, Lady Furina – in operas, how much do you enjoy twist villains?"
"... Oh," Furina squeaked finally, her cheeks red – though her next words made Lumine soften the act a bit; "I – I, um… You're really…?"
"Yeah. Unless you don't want me to?"
"N-no! I mean – yes? I – mngh…"
The verbal stumbling made Lumine laugh, and Furina huffed petulantly, squirming in place with a thoroughly flustered expression.
"Just… Stop when I say so, okay?!"
"Promise. I won't push it."
Furina hesitated, gauging Lumine's sincerity before letting out a soft breath and nodding – only to tense when the traveler dug her fingers into her sides, wasting no time to profit off of the okay.
"Now, let's see how loud you can really sing…"
"AahhaaaAAH – Wait wait wahahait –!"
As Clorinde and Paimon rounded the bend again, they were greeted with Lumine helping a very breathless-looking Furina to her feet, slinging an arm around her shoulders to support the wobbly-legged damsel with an amused look to their companions.
"Unfortunately, Madameoiselle Crabaletta did a number on her… I think we might have to give up on the rest of this trip."
Clorinde sighed haplessly, shaking her head; "It's alright… It wouldn't be the first time. Come on, let's get back to the city…"
"... Haah, haah… S-sorry, everyone…"
Paimon giggled, collecting Furina's hat from the ground as they began their trek homeward and trying it on her own head, giving Lumine a knowing side-eye.
"It's okay! Paimon had fun anyway! What about you, Traveler?"
"Yeah – lots of fun. We should do this again soon."
Lumine grinned, drumming her fingers against Furina's side where they rested just to make her flinch and giggle, leaning into the traveler a little harder and ducking down to hide a giddy smile.
Furina loves being human – especially now that she has proper friends to be human with.

I don’t have time to write my fic for today’s tickletober prompt *cries* but this is a plot that’s been on my mind for a while, so i wrote this instead to make up for it.
Wriothesley x Furina
Enjoy^^
“Well, well, well, what brings you to the underworld?”
“Aha~ just browsing around, of course.”
“Browsing around the abandoned production zone, then?”
“Well, it’s only natural for a visitor to be curious.”
“That’s where you’re out of line. See, we don’t get visitors, Miss Furina. And, frankly, the only reason why I can’t eject you into the sea to swim back to the surface is because of your relationship with Neuvillette.”
”My word, that’s no way to treat a guest.”
“People here don’t often get ‘guests’ or ‘visitors’, and if anything most people here probably aren’t too fond of you.
“Tut tut, and why is that?”
“Well, with you as their witness, you’ve casted them into this secluded palace…so, do you think they’d like you?”
“Ah…fair point…”
“Now,” Wriothesley pours himself a cup of tea, “I’m sure you’re wondering how you ended up in my office. After all, the last thing you remember is having your own private ‘tour’ of the abandoned production zone, no?”
“I was just waiting for you to share.”
“So you’re telling me that being tied down to a table isn’t common for you?”
“Wha-? Of course, not! Let this be known! This is an extremely cold and uncomfortable table-!”
“Relax, I’m joking. Anyway, I sent a little friend of mine to retrieve you. She had thought you got yourself lost,” he shakes his head with a small smile, “she was worried about your wellbeing, after all.”
“Who’s she?”
“Our head nurse, Sigewinne, she’s always watching the other prisoners as they work, so you must’ve caught her eye since it’s your first visit and you’re already in places you shouldn’t be.”
“Sigewinne…that’s a Melusine, yes?”
“Yes, she’s very special.”
“Oh, I remember now…it felt like I got shot.”
“Of course, I gave her a little tool for help.”
“Does Neuvillette know about this?”
“No- not yet, at least.”
“Hm, how curious. I thought you two were close.”
“Nobody is close to the Iudex, Focalors.”
“True.”
There’s a moment of silence as Wriothesley takes a sip from his teacup.
Furina clears her throat, “so, why am I restrained to this table?”
“Well, to show you that you can’t simply wander to restricted areas without my blessing- to say the least.”
“As the archon of Fontaine-”
“The Fortress of Meropide hardly counts as a part of Fontaine. We even use a different currency here. If Fonta wasn’t allowed in here, a newbie wouldn’t even make a connection with this place and the Overworld.”
“Hm…”
“So, if anything, at least down here, you should call me ‘Your Grace’,” Wriothesley smirks, taking a second sip from his cup.
“What-? Absolutely not!”
“Oh, why? Not used to being told ‘no’?”
“You- that’s irrelevant.”
“Maybe, but I’m making it relevant.”
“Hmph, you have no right to address me that way!”
“In the Overworld, maybe not, but here you’re going to have to recognize the shift in power, Furina.”
“Tsk, let this be known as my last visit down here, then!”
“Oh, no, what would we ever do without the loving gaze of Focalors? I can’t imagine a crueler fate, “Wriothesley’s voice was filled with sarcasm, “oh…wait, I actually think I can.”
Furina rolls her eyes, “do enlighten me, why don’t you?”
“Well, I think the imminent future of someone caught snooping around my palace…is much more daunting than that.”
“Aha~ um,” Furina’s carefree voice suddenly sounds a bit less so, “r-really?”
Wriothesley drags his fingertips up Furina’s thighs, starting at the top of her knees.
“Wah-?! What is the meaning of this?!”
“Oh, was I doing something? Pardon me,” Wriothesley drags his fingers back downwards.
“W-wait don’t do this!”
“Huh? Don’t tell me the hydro archon is already faltering. Besides, why shouldn’t I do this? You’re in my domain, after all.”
“This- this is unnecessary!”
“You’re under my jurisdiction, and I think it’s very necessary. Hm, what about right…here?”
Wriothesley squeezes Furina’s leg just above the knee and the archon lets out a screech.
“Ow, is it really that intense? It’d be a shame if I just went like this, hm?”
Wriothesley suddenly squeezes that spot over and over in quick succession.
“Wrioth- hahahahaha!! H-help! Hahahahaha!”
“Help? Aw, I’ll help you. Tell you what, I’ll go to this place instead, okay?”
Furina’s wide-eyed stare of horror relaxes, “aha...hahaha…th-thank you…”
He suddenly starts kneading her inner thighs.
“Nahahahaha!! Aaaah! Wait- hahahahaha! I can’t- hahahahahaha!”
“What’s wrong? I’m trying to help you, after all.”
“Hahahahaha! You-! Hahahahahaha!”
“Just when I thought you couldn’t get any louder, wow.”
“P-please! Hahahahahahaha!!”
Wriothesley stops for a moment, “hold on,” he takes a sip of tea, “now. Where was I?”
He slowly walks towards Furina.
“Wait! Ah-haha- we can talk about this, Wriothesley?!”
“What would you like to talk about? Hurry~”
Furina feels fingers caressing her kneecaps, slowly inching behind them, “ah- ah! Wait- I’m sorry! I’ll never sneak down here again I- gah!”
Wriothesley suddenly swirls his fingertips on the backs of Furina’s knees, “no, no, don’t stop. I’m listening. Go right ahead.”
“I- hahahahaha! Aaah! Hahahahaha!!”
“Hm? What was that?”
Furina’s knees buckle and straighten as she tries to wiggle as much as she can in her restraints, “st-stop it! Hahahahaha! I can’t take it- hahahahahaha!”
“I say you can, so you will.”
“Nahahahaha! No please- hahahahaha!”
“This isn’t even that bad. If anything, I’m going easy on you, Miss Furina.”
“No more- hahahahaha! I’m sorry- aaah! I’m sorry!!”
“Heh, I’m sure you are.”
He pulls Furina’s shoes off, teasing at her toes from behind her socks. Furina screams and curls her toes up, trying to fend off the incoming onslaught.
“If you don’t behave, I’ll take off the socks.”
“Nohoho- hahahaha! That’s unfair- aah!”
Wriothesley attacks Furina’s thighs again, forcing her to bend her knee and arch her foot.
“I’ll admit that, yeah.”
The Duke uses this opportunity to take off the archon’s socks and Furina lets out a scream when she realizes what’s happened.
“No! Don’t! Stop! Please,” she was panicking.
“‘Don’t stop please’? If you say so, princess.”
Wriothesley suddenly goes at Furina’s soles with both hands.
“Waah!! Wrioth- hahahahahaha!! St- hahahahahaha!!”
The archon’s eyes were wide as they started to tear up, the Duke’s office walls verberated the sounds of the archon’s laughter.
“I’m just doing what you asked.”
“N- hahahahahaha! I- hahahahaha- didn’t- hahahahaha!!”
Furina couldn’t get any words out because her screams drowned out her own protests.
“You seem to be having a lot of fun.”
“I’m n- hahahahahahaha!!”
“It’s okay. Your secret is safe with me.”
Furina continues screaming, shaking her fists in her restraints, “stahahahahahap!”
The archon’s breath gets shallow as she struggles to breathe.
“Oh? Is this all you can take, really?”
“Please…” Furina’s laughs were wheezing as she pleaded, “I’m sorry…n-no more…”
Wriothesley smirks, backing off, “that’s better.”
The Duke unties Furina and calls Sigewinne to the scene.
“Sigewinne, can you come take Miss Furina? She seems to be a bit worn out.”
“Hm?” Sigewinne looks at Furina, “what happened?”
“Oh, nothing. The effects from your stun gun seem to linger more than what I anticipated.”
“Then…why are her socks removed?”
“Ah, we thought the coldness of the ground would shock her to her senses.”
“Interesting. Well, I’ll take it from here, Your Grace!”
“Thank you, Sigewinne.”
“Of course!”
Sigewinne carries Furina off and Wriothesley watches as the two leave his office.
“She’ll be back. But until then,” he refills his teacup, “I’ll be here, as always.”

O' Archon My Archon
Tumblr media
A/N: Here I appear before you once again! I loved 4.1 very much and these two had me sold instantly. Just as a heads up, this fic will contain spoilers for 4.1's AQ but will also take place after the 4.2 AQ, but as it is not out right now and I have no clue how they're going to end it, let's assume Furina saved her nation somehow but lost her gnosis in return like the usual Archon.
Word count: 2511
It was hard to miss that confused split second yelp before she fell on the ground.
She grabbed her for what couldn’t be longer than a few seconds at best.
Call it a Father’s intuition, but she knew that if she had held onto her for longer, her fearful expression would be one of laughter and smiles. As she was on the ground pleading for her life, (which turned out to be a pathetic sight unbefitting of an archon in her opinion,) Arlecchino’s mind began to race and run through all the facts.
She didn’t have the gnosis, which was what she looked for. And Lady Furina was even more fragile than she could have ever imagined.
But then the curves of her lips slightly tipped, her fingers flexing with a piqued interest for this newfound weakness of the Archon.
She turned around and disappeared into the night, leaving the confused and terrified Hydro Archon behind, who rushed for the Opera as quickly as she could right after, tears streaming down her face.
That happened a while ago, much changed since then, but the events of that night never left either of their thoughts.
Now, in the present day, she sat once more in Neucillette's office, on the couch she once sat upon before standing up to scold Fontaine's archon. Though this time she had only sweet words in mind for her, as she had saved this nation of hers against all odds.
"Lady Furina."
Furina swallowed the slice of cake, hiding her sloth with an elegance only Arlecchino could see through. Nevertheless, she couldn't care less about that right now.
Her eyes now only looked at her with fondness, appreciating her cute sides with each blink anew, and Furina never failed to show her cute side.
"Mmmmyes?" She said, laying her eyes off of the cake and towards the harbinger. "Oh me, oh my, what is it you're staring at? Surely there's no cake to be found on my face?"
Arlecchino brushed her finger against her cheek and wiped the leftover cream. "You never were an efficient eater." She licked the cream off of her finger and crossed her legs again to watch Furina continue to eat. "I take it that the cake is to your taste, however?"
"You may pat yourself on your back, Miss Arlecchino~ You've pleased your archon once more, you must have a taste similar to mine for you to be able to guess my favorites correctly each time."
"Ah, your words are too kind, Lady Furina." She whispered, shoving her plate over to Furina's side of the table. "Sweets are not as much my favorite dessert as they are yours, however. So please… Take some more."
"Ohoho? You're spoiling me~! Whatever may be your reason, hmm? Oh well, a waste of good cake is a waste of the bakery's efforts~! Do not mind if I do~!
She gobbled up the cake, shamelessly.
Arlecchino sat quietly, unable to take her mind off of how defenceless she sat beside her. Was there not an ounce of fear in her body? Or was she truly so careless?
These meetings of theirs…
She had already forgotten the meaning behind them. Furina was nothing more than an archon without a gnosis now.
There was no purpose behind her visits…
There was no reason to care for how Furina is doing these days. Yet, here she was, ensuring to always come with a gift in hand.
"Meooooow~"
Furina clapped her hands and put down the plate, welcoming her pet cat on her lap and gently caressing his back. "Wowie, Sir Bubbles the 2nd! Your fur is even more shiny than last time, how did you do it?" She lovingly hugged him. "Oh, right, I guess it is I who deserves the praise for taking such good care of you~"
Furina eagerly danced with the cat on her lap and held his paws tightly. She smiled and nodded her head along to his movements. It was a sight hard to look away from.
Arlecchino thought it would be best to excuse herself as she already began to understand she had no place beside the archon. She would never be looked at the way Furina looks at those she holds dear most, such as her cat.
"Awww, does that feel nice?" Furina giggled, gently toying with her cat and making him purr. "You have a spot, Sir Bubbles the 2nd~! I know you do, yes I do~ No need to pretend you don't~"
Arlecchino was quiet.
Then, however, she spoke up.
"Miss Furina… May I humbly suggest a more gentle approach?" She said, making the archon stop in her act and wonder if she was hurting her cat without realising. "No need to worry Lady Furina, you were doing quite well. I just so happen to have a few cats myself, and know the exact right way to… Please them, so to speak."
Though it has been ages, sometimes she did allow herself to indulge when it came to the Children of the House of the Heart, since not every mission of theirs always went by without its flaws, as such their frowns and wounds could only be treated by someone like her.
And those experiences have now come in handy today.
"Oh? You, a caretaker of not only children, but felines as well? Color me positively surprised, but more so positively pleased!" As Furina was singing her praises, Sir Bubbles jumped off her lap and ran through the room until he escaped through a window. "Sir Bubbles the 2nd! You dare excuse yourself without warning in front of our guest?! Unbelievable!"
"It seems the cat's out of the lap." Arlecchino joked before composing herself and waiting for Furina's temper to soften.
"I can only hope you will find it in you to forgive me and Sir Bubbles the 2nd for this blunder…" She pouted. "I missed out on a performance, and some much needed entertainment as a result… Oh me, oh my, why does this always happen to me..?"
"Oh, Lady Furina…" Arlecchino patted her on her shoulder. "Your tears are unfit for the situation we are currently in. May I share my thoughts? I consider the departure of Sir Bubbles the 2nd a positive outcome, since this will make my performance more entertaining for you."
"Surely you do not whisper sweet nothings into my ear just to please me? May I ask, Miss Arlecchino, how would you teach me how to praise my cat without the presence of my ca-"
Furina yelped, forcing her mouth closed.
"You may be no cat… That is indeed a most astute observation." Arlecchino smiled, her fingers just ever so slightly resting on the archon's knee. "Yet, you have a spot all the same." She teased her with a handsome smirk on her face. “Quite a few in fact, if my memory serves.”
“Ah- Ahaha- How fun~!” Furina fake laughed, shifting further away from Arlecchino, but she would be followed until the harbinger leaned over her. “Y-You surprised your archon as you intended, so well done Miss Arlecchino! Oh me, oh my, I shan’t forget your sense of mischief anytime soon, lest I regret it~! If you’d allow me, I will now excuse myself, I’m most certain there is a trial of which I forgot was meant to happen today, hahaha-”
“I remember you setting aside time for me today because there was no trial taking place… Surely you did not tell me lies, Miss Furina?” Arlecchino smiled, her hand crawling up Furina’s leg and occasionally pinching, a rhythm perfectly orchestrated to unveil the weakness of her archon. “Ah, the silent treatment is often a display of guilt.”
“I- Uhh- I plead the fifth!” Furina hastily replied.
“...You… Plead the fifth..?” Arlecchino chuckled. “The Great Hydro Archon, pleading the fifth?” Furina pretended to laugh along with her, hoping to take her mind off of the nails still on her knee. “There is in fact a first time for everything, it seems.” Unfortunately, the Knave’s focus was not haltered. “Will you tell me the truth or must I force it out of you? Truly, I have no qualms with either, O’ Great Hydro Archon.”
“H-How about we discuss it over some tea? Aha…-Ahaha, Oh I know! I will personally pour it for you~! Does that not sound appealing? It’s from a very expensive brand! I will even offer you my sweets from my secret stash, if that would tempt you more!”
“You possess a silver tongue unlike any other, Lady Furina.” Arlecchino smiled. “However, I must remind you…” She whispered as she leaned closer to her ear, as if they weren’t the only ones in the room. “I much prefer you over some sweets and tea.”
With that, her fate was sealed as her hat fell on the ground.
“Miss… Arlecchihihinooo…”
It was just some gentle scratching, Arlecchino would scoff at anyone who called this little amount of contact tickling already.
“Just like Freminet.” She mentioned, remembering how the young diver occasionally cut his leg when he first started. He would sulk and apologise, and then shyly curl up into a ball made of soft giggles when she reassured him like this.
Furina grabbed onto the edge of the couch but couldn’t escape, it seemed she was much more sensitive than Freminet, Arlecchino noticed.
“Ahaha-alright you won!” Furina covered her knees with her hands, a blush on her face. “Iudex Neuvillette informed me of the contents of today’s trial ahead of time! I was reassured the defendant would simply plead guilty, thus there would be no reason for me to personally attend!”
“So the Hydro Archon chose to spend her day free of duties with me? I’m most honored.” Arlecchino pulled her hands back, but when Furina sighed a breath of relief she attacked again and dug into her sides. “Just like before, your facade shatters like that of my dear Lynette.” The claws that took advantage of her exposed sides were merciless, going for the kill as if to make up for the opportunity lost from before on that one fateful night. Furina kept her giggles at bay. “Is… Thihihis… What you were planning?” A confident smirk rivalled that of Arlecchino, almost as if to challenge her. “How shrehehewd of you~!”
“Do try not to misunderstand, Miss Furina.” Arlecchino reached for the archon’s neck, clawing gently. More often than not, this wasn’t a means she used for affection… But it worked wonders right now, as Furina tried to escape her nails with adorable sounds. “This is an effective spot, see? Some creatures love nothing more than to be pet underneath their chin.”
“Mmmmhmmm-isss that so?” Furina crossed her arms, rebelling against the touches. “I cannot help but notice you are being rather vaguehehe.” She met Arlecchino’s eyes for a moment. “Am Ihihi- to be one of those creaturehehes?”
Oh. Arlecchino couldn’t believe it.
This deep rooted feeling inside her own chest.
“Oh me, ohoho my~” Furina sang and smugly laughed before she took Arlecchino's hand. "The red prehehesent on your face now mahahatches the red innnn your eyes~!"
"Ha…" Arlecchino traced her fingers across her ear, playfully entertaining them. "Your body is much weaker than I had imagined. Is this much already-?"
"Miss Ahaharlecchino! Is that avoidance in your voice I hehehear?" Furina squirmed, flustering the harbinger even further. "How unexpect- EHEHE?! MISS ARLECCHINOOOHO?!"
With one quick movement Arlecchino pulled Furina onto her lap and slid her hands underneath her shirt until she could squeeze the bare skin hidden underneath.
"Miss Furina, may I remind you that some emotions are best left unaddressed?" She said, clawing into the archon's back and effortlessly keeping her as her captive. "Going around boldly announcing everything to the world… Let's just say that's a lifestyle I cannot afford."
"Ohoho? So you're shhhhh-ehehe-shyyy?" Furina grabbed her shoulders and forced herself on top. "It's only natural! The centeheher of the stage is meant only for those brave who can bear the spotlight~!"
"You are correct." The Knave responded as her nails slid around Furina's navel, which combined with her intentionally low voice sent shivers down the archon's spine. "Some things are best left behind in the shadows… Understood?"
"Your suggestion has been co-hehe-nsidered, Miss~" Furina answered, before surprising the Knave with a hug over her shoulders. She brightly smiled, blinding the Knave with her heterochromic gaze. "Unfortunately for you, everything that hides in the shadows of Fontaine will be brought to light eventually~"
"...You truly do possess a silver tongue unlike any other." Arlecchino laughed. She then softened, hesitantly accepting the embrace offered by the archon of her land of birth.
"Ahaha~! Of course, of course! How lucky you are, to be flattered so extensively by an archon, let alone one such as myself!" Furina contemplated something for a second, and then decided to take action regardless. "Miss Arlecchino?"
"...Yes, Lady Furina?" The Knave blinked.
"As you know, I hold Sir Bubbles the 2nd in very high esteem~! And there's a secret spot he has that only I, Folcalore, know of!"
Arlecchino raised a brow. "Enlighten me." Furina giggled, the tickly hands around her waist insisted on her spilling the secret. "Where do you wish for me to touch you next, Lady Furina?"
"Rihihight…" Furina smirked, moving closer to Arlecchino's face, she knew the Knave kept her guard up and she had to be quick about it. "Here~" She said as she planted a kiss on the Knave's nose.
"Mmmwuah!" She laughed. "There you have it, that's his favorite spot! However, I must implore you not to tell Sir Bubbles the 2nd I told you, he is quite shy about it."
The room fell silent for a minute.
"You…" Arlecchino grabbed Furina by her chin and stared her in her eyes. Even now, the fear she once had for her was nowhere to be found anymore now that the curse was uplifted. "Miss Furina, you truly possess no sense of danger."
"I am an archon; What reason would I have to fear someone who gets flustered at a mere kiss on the nose?" She stuck out her tongue, teasing the Knave. "Well?"
"...Is this an invitation?"
"Oh me, oh my~" Furina intertwined her fingers with those of the harbinger. "Could I make it any more obvious? Alas, as you are still a child of Fontaine at heart, it is up to me to guide you towards the light you shy away from~"
Arlecchino pulled her closer on her lap.
"O' Great Hydro Archon." She said, pulling Furina's lips closer to hers, caressing her hair and finally smiling against her skin. "Your spectacles never fail to impress me."
It was a quiet moment, with the silence only being filled with the occasional giggles coming from Furina who couldn't help but notice the fingers still pressed against her sides.
This Knave could be awfully needy, she realised. Still, as she was one of her people, she possessed no sins in her eyes; Just like how Furina saw herself, she could only see magnificence and purity.

Soft Drizzles
Summary: Neuvillette is typically too embarrassed to tickle anyone.... Well, maybe there's one exception. Word count: 579 A/N: This can be read as either platonic or romantic, doesn't matter. And lol, this is one of my first times posting writing, so please don't mind if it's bad or anything. (please rb)
Neuvillette is embarrassed easily. He is embarrassed easily, and often becomes shy, especially with touch. Specifically…. Tickling. He couldn’t imagine touching someone that way. And making them laugh? His face heats up at the thought of such a thing - and at the mere word, too.
Well…. All but one person he couldn’t imagine touching in that kind of way.
He smiled affectionately at the sweet, desperate giggles which met his ears, his fingers gently dancing and drumming over small rib bones. Complaints rose up from his “victim” (Or, rather, she had put herself in this position - all her own fault) He dug his index fingers into the grooves between the bones, causing a squeal to burst out of her.
She almost seemed like a whole new person, red faced, hiccupping in her giggles and titters, her clothes all rumpled. Her hair was even messier than usual, but it only added to her charm in the whole situation.
“Well, then, Lady Furina,” Neuvillette started, raising one hand to gently scratch at her underarm, causing her arm to tightly clamp down as she snorted. “You certainly acted out of place during the trial today. I believe you have.. An apology due?”
He chuckled softly when Furina stuck her tongue out, knowing all too well that she’d be too stubborn and prideful to apologize. She had faced him with a situation today which he’d rather not have dealt with, all the attention on him in an unwanted way. It was a brief moment of embarrassment, undeserving of any genuine negative emotions, but even still, Neuvillette didn’t mind playing around with his archon a little bit like this.
“You- Ahaha-!! Lehet me gohooo!! Aahehehe– you rohoadkill!” Neuvillette huffed out a fond laugh again, moving the hand against her underarm to the lower side of her torso, his thumb gently digging into the sensitive muscle just above her hip bone, causing her entire body to spasm and jump, a loud gasp breaking free of her.
“NOho-” She squealed out, her hands finally managing to find the strength to shoot forward and latch onto Neuvillette’s sides, roughly squeezing with as much strength as they could muster. Neuvillette nearly collapsed on top of her, yelping out in surprise before soft, hearty laughter began to flood past his lips. The sudden tickle attack caused his own attack to weaken, with his Archon taking advantage of the hiccup. Her hands instantly went from his sides to his neck, her fingertips ever so lightly gliding and spidering over the sensitive skin. Every so often, her nails would gently trace over it too. Neuvillette scrunched up his neck, his giggles turning into soft laughter, with him hiccuping every so often.
“He-he, I’ve got you now, you otter- AHehe!! HEY!!” Her triumph was short lived as she squealed out, head tilting back when the gentle squeezing above her hip bone returned.
And here they were, the two most important people in the Nation of Fontaine, squealing and laughing loudly as they tickled each other in Neuvillette’s office; both blushing, hiccupping and tearing up in mirth.
Outside, a light, gentle drizzle fell over Fontaine. Small, warm droplets fell on the faces of children, who laughed and played, jumping in the tiny puddles which formed on the ground. The sun warmed the land, and fluffy, white clouds littered the sky. A rainbow appeared too, faint but beautiful, spreading through the sky of Fontaine. Oh, well; probably just another moment of strange weather.

Neuvillette <333
--
It was raining.
It was as if thousands of clouds had appeared out of nowhere. Fontaine dripped with cool water, dousing people without umbrellas and little, smiling children. The pitter-patter of droplets made muffled noises on the rooftiles. And, as the whole world hurried their way into shade and into the warmth of their well-lit homes, Chief Justice Neuvillette tucked his legs underneath the eaves. Pink irises the color of barely-bloomed peonies glanced down at the world below him. The statue in the walkways' center glowed an equally soft blue. His eyes watched the rain bead and slip off of the metal surfaces with detached interest.
The dragon's mind began to wander, as it often did in this weather. Could he have changed that verdict? Was that man, whose tears were genuine, really have to pay for the transgression of a father he never knew? Why must he be the one to sentence him? His chest tightened painfully, almost as if a thousand heavy weights had been chained to it. They threatened to pull him deeper, deeper into his thoughts, into his melancholic state, into the deep, steadily darkening waters beneath his person-
A flurry of footsteps on the side of the connecting walkway beside his seat. There was only one person who would walk so willingly in such rain, especially since it seemed to have worsened during his musings. "Lady Furina." His voice sounded soft, wavery almost. It was nothing compared to his authoritative voice in the clamoring court not two to three hours ago. Furina said nothing to him in reply, gently pushing at his tail with her shoe until it moved to accommodate her. She settled down beside him, crossing her legs to match with him. As she did, her hand shot up to adjust her slipping hat. "You left your cane back in the courthouse, you know. I had to put it away for you, you old coot." Although her words were harsh, her tone was gentle. As soothingly as Furina could, she laid her palm flat against Neuvillette's tail, rubbing the scales in the same direction. The archon was careful not to rub his scales the wrong way, swerving around the large fin that stuck out to the side of the appendage.
He responded very slowly. Almost too quietly, the dragon rumbled contentedly from his archon's touch. It sounded wounded in a way, wet and full of sadness in its own way. Furina frowned at that. "You're still upset about that decision, huh? It's not that bad. His father definitely did all those things." Neuvillette's head drooped a little. "It wasn't his fault. Why must I sentence him for a crime he never knew of?" His voice was thick with emotion. If she was anyone different, she could have been convinced that this wasn't the Court Justice she was speaking to, but the ghost of a judge long passed on. Furina took the silence that spanned after to look at his fins. They looked wilted, paling from their already muted sapphire to a shade of blue that could only be compared to a polluted riverbank.
Furina tutted softly, getting the attention of the obviously-downcast man. "There's no use in moping about your decision, you know." He nodded in agreement. And yet, even as he agreed with her statement, the rain slamming itself down onto the roofs above them continued on its way. The clouds didn't clear from above them at all. A sound of mock frustration came from her mouth unbidden. She turned to look at him, reaching out with a hand to trace a finger or two over his jawline. Even through the thundering rain, his gasp of surprise was audible to her sharp ears. Fighting back the urge to grin mischeivously, she swiped her finger over it again.
He shuddered, tucking his chin into his collarbone. His gaze settled on her, a single reptillian eye glaring at her. The only thing on her face was a barely-concealed smile. "What do you think you're doing..?"
"Cheering you up. Unless you want me to sing that children's song until the rain stops." Her fingers danced over his ear this time. She watched as he scrunched up from the feeling. "Come on, let me cheer you up better. There's no way I can do that if you're avoiding me like this." When she received no response from the defendant, she sighed and shook her head at him. "Of course. And you call me petulant."
Furina let her hand drift to his overcoat, slowly unbuttoning it and revealing his corset. Neuvillette stiffened. If he actually disliked the change, he didn't express any of it. Once she had shoved the extra clothing aside, she tapped on the tough surface of the accessory. "Why do you need more than three layers here? It's not like it's that cold out of the water." Her fingers drummed rhythmically, sending vibrations through the clothing. Out of the corner of her eye, Furina watched his tail tense up and wag slightly from her behavior. "I don't- kh!- Lady Furina, don't…!" She peered over at his face and drank in the look of embarrassment on his usually stoic countenance. "Don't what? Stop? Because if this rain doesn't clear up lickety split, I'm gonna go deeper than your corset, you know!" A small, higher-pitched noise came from him, desperate and flustered. The archon couldn't help but let out a small giggle at the poor man's predicament. "Come on, Neuvillette.. just let go of it! It's not a big deal. Besides, it's not like it was a harsh punishment."
He hissed through his teeth as she unlaced his corset as well. As lace unravelled and the leather fell away to reveal a soft, silky undershirt, she teased the cool skin underneath with her palm. He shook his head above her, eyebrows contorting in a mixture of mortification and a final effort to keep his noises in. A gloved hand came up to cover his mouth. Furina looked up, pouting slightly. "Oh, seriously? Do I need to pry your hands off myself? I wanna hear your laugh and I wanna hear your cute rumbles! And I can't hear either if you keep trying to shut yourself up! I'm your archon, aren't I? Can't you listen to your archon, you big water lizard?" Neuvillette grumbled at her, before reluctantly letting his hand rest to the side. Giddy with her success, she looked upwards slightly towards his hair. Where his hair usually stood up, two horns the color of the deep abyss sprouted. "Oh, your horns are here too. I didn't notice." He looked surprised himself, reaching up to touch one.
While he was distracted, her hand darted out quickly to squeeze an undefended side. A rather undignified yelp came from the dragon. She dodged the hand that instinctually grabbed at her wrist with practiced timing. "Y-you!" She ignored the indignation in his voice. "Turn towards me, okay? I want to make you feel better." His tail lashed behind her, smacking the side of the stone they were seated on lightly. "As your archon, that's a command." With a sigh, he did what she asked. "You are so grumpy today."
His breath hitched as she teased him with both hands this time. Her nails, dulled by the gloves, danced over his clothes and through the thin fabric with ease. She found the chinks in his scales without much effort, rubbing at the soft spots where he had gotten hurt before and where the scales didn't grow with as much strength anymore. At first, the rumbling was nothing but a vibration she could feel ever so slightly underneath her fingertips. It could be mistaken for an old aquabus, or perhaps an excited child running along in the rain. But, as she continued her attack with impunity and dodged his steadily more uncoordinated hands, the rumbling grew stronger and louder until she swore the whole of Fontaine could hear the rumbles of the Iudex. And, finally, his soft gasps and hiccups gave way to genuine laughter.
As Furina's hands moved from his abs and upwards to his ribs, the water dragon's laughter upped an octave in shock. Neuvillette's laugh sounded almost like waves crashing onto the beach, ebbing and flowing in tandem with the archon's touch. He squirmed away from her touch, but she followed his movements and continued her onslaught. In her heart, Furina truly loved the texture of his scales. They were soft on their own, but tough when there was a threat to dispatch. The smooth, slightly cool sensation that she felt through her gloves made her smile. She looked up from his torso to see a smile. A genuine smile was plastered on his face from her touch. The thumping of his tail on the stone, drowned out by his laugh, became apparent as she slowed down. As well as something else.
Not breaking eye contact with him, she reached out past the eaves. Her hand came back dry. Her eyes glimmered with success.
"There you are. Do you feel better, you fool?" His shoulders were still shaking with the last throes of mirth, but he nodded nonetheless.
"Good. Now that that's over, let's go have a late dinner. Are you down for fish or meat?"
For some reason, Neuvillette couldn't find it in himself to care.

vision bearers are a lot more sensitive on spots where their vision lays - I thought of this when I was playin as Lyney, and his vision just happened to be on a sensitive spot of mine lol (therefore, I decided that me and the magician shall share the pain)
archons/the traveler are just walking tickle spots lol
