"Corey has recently founded the band Chasm, a band that typically stays in a mix of 90s rock, punk, and pop genre wise. He’s the guitarist and lyricist with no interest in being a frontman or lead vocalist - though he does do backing vocals. There was never any formal audition process, Corey just grew comfortable enough in the idea of being in a band one day and sort of organised it by asking people he knew, people he already jammed with, or by having musicians suggested to him from friends. They’re not necessarily aiming for fame, Corey personally finds playing and making music to be therapeutic, and so it’s more a passion project than anything. They play as many local or semi-local shows as possible, and they do hope that one day they’ll get studio time to record some things!
