How did you learn to draw such vivid scenes? Do you have any avdvice you'd like to give to beginners?

Studying artists like Angela Sung, Yun Ling, and Léa Pinto for their composition and color choices has helped me a lot when it comes to creating environmental art!

For beginner artists, I recommend value mapping very early on when drawing environments. It's something I've been focusing on doing more lately, but it's become an incredibly useful method of planning things out when doing big, complicated pieces.

Hey, so, not comic related, but what's the deal with the "Vembis" running gag in OSP? Was there a bit in a video that I've forgotten or is it just some inside joke that migrated into the public sphere without explanation?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I'm pretty sure the Vembis joke sprang fully-formed from the forehead of Zeus and predates the domestication of goats. It's a universal constant, like π. It's residual funny left over from the Big Bang.
