Suggested Style: Knitted shirt with suede details by Scotch & Soda

Scotch & Soda is one of my favorite brands because they have stylish, yet casual clothes at a reasonable price point. This knitted shirt by Scotch & Soda is a perfect layering item for the fall/winter season, and would look great over a long sleeved tee or even a checkered button down. The high collar and plaid shoulder patches add just the right amount of detailing (elbow patches would be great too) and I can see this shirt paired perfectly with a pair of distressed jeans and brown boots.

3 things I am happy about:

1. October is over! Talk about a busy month, every week and weekend was jam packed with birthdays, events, etc...I am tired and need rest, my bank account is low-nley, not to mention the first time my AMEX carried over a balance in almost a year.

2. Halloween is DONE! Not that I dislike Halloween, but I prefer my own clothing. It's also one of those "holidays" you feel obligated to participate in if you are going to be social, and I don't have time for multiple costumes. 3. Thanksgiving is near! Ever since I moved to Boston 8 years ago, I always stayed in Boston for Thanksgiving. It's the first family oriented Holiday where I have made my own little traditions.
