The Alabaster Path
What is evil?
What is good?
I’ve never be good with these trivials.
All I know is the rage burns like the stove full of alight wood.
Aspen stripes fill my vision.
And I want to rip everything with my teeth.
Similar to an unsavable justice.
I prowl into the white where I don’t belong, covered in red as sharp as fangs.
Dancing somewhere between destruction and peace, maybe that’s exactly where I belong.
A bright light and a black darkness other side, I don’t want to leave.
I’m a paralyzed rebel, refusal deep in the red in my veins.
And this truth has been embedded into my bones.
And I’m sure I’ll break more hearts along the way.

Unrecognizable...
{To my Sister, Who Is One Of The Most Important People To Me. She Deserves The World, And I Hope This Will Do.}
~VJ Studios
~
The keyhole looked so far from opening as I sat alone in this home.
Love is scarce, despite it always being there.
Sometimes, rather than loving, I’d rather bury my bones.
Sometimes I don’t want to be here.
Faith is what I look for.
How very sad.
Yellow is too bright for me to wear.
Black is far too dark and just as bad.
But both can compromise, they make me feel the forever.
So why do people say “Quit being so sad.”
I search for a key to freedom.
Desperate for the craving attention that I’ll never reach out.
I cannot anymore, I cannot fathom.
And I don’t know if that’s well put.
And sometimes, when I have a mirror to even look at.
I’m unrecognizable.
The silence is far too loud to listen to and I feel like some type of rat.
Sneaking my way through the endless maze of memories and wishing to collect.
I swear I will find you this time.

{DOLOR PT 3: A!Akutagawa X O!Atsushi}
Tumblr media
Three Months After November 8th…
{~:~}
Atsushi was sitting on the floor with a book in his hand, eyes switching from reading the words to checking on Akachan and Shiro, who were both asleep in the omega’s lap, and he would sigh in content every time. His sunset eyes never really left either of his pups, and he didn’t know whether or not to be embarrassed. Some of the other people from the Office, and even Kyouka have all said he was way too attentive to the twins. But the Office Manager had actually said he was just doing what any other Mother would do.
And this Manager, Enomoto Seifu, who had the ability of reading and controlling emotions, could tell that he was just protective, and scared.
And Atsushi was.
Now that Akachan and Shiro were born, what would happen next?
Not only his life as a parent, but his job, {Even if working here surprisingly made more money than he could ever make in a lifetime in Yokohama, not that he didn’t miss the city} and then his mind was wandering to a certain clothing manipulating Alpha, who was stationed in Port Mafia’s Yokohama.
He was not ready to tell him, but how long before he would be found out?
After all, he had missed his six month deadline.
Atsushi sighed, his head ache increasing as he continued his brain-storm, when Akachan yawned, causing him to freeze, hold his breath, before curling into his thigh, lightly bumping her head into her brother’s forehead, causing Shiro to stir, before curling towards her. Atsushi smiled, and he sighed in content, just as the door opened, revealing Kyouka, who had gone to get something at the other side of town at the Mail Center.
“Hey, welcome home!” He said, and Kyouka instantly smiled back, and walked over to the coffee table.
“Sorry I’m late. Miss Seifu wanted me to check out a supposed burglar case over there while I was there.”
“That’s alright. I’m just glad you got back safe. What’s that envelope?”
Kyouka froze, having slipped the envelope into her kimono, hoping Atsushi wouldn’t notice.
She gripped the letter, before smiling.
“Just spam. Nothing important.”
Atsushi raised an eyebrow, before chuckling, and shrugging his shoulders.
“Alright. I’ll go put these two down in their cradles and I’ll reheat some dinner for you, yeah?”
“...Yes please.” They both smiled, before Atsushi picked up both Shiro and Akachan carefully, making sure not to wake them, and heading up stairs towards his room.
Kyouka smiled at the staircase, before glaring down at the envelope with a golden seal and began to rip it apart in a small rage.
“At least someone from the ADA sent it instead of him finding our address…”
{~:~}
Higuchi thought Akutagawa was losing it.
She noticed that he had first acted like a frightened child anytime the ADA were mentioned, then he acted like a kicked dog, then he was obsessed with finding the Weretiger, who had apparently moved away from Yokohama, before disappearing for a whole two months, and now he was back.
And he was far worse then before.
He was barely keeping himself from being irritated at anyone and everyone, including Gin, who seemed to be just as shocked as her, and began to work himself to the bone, and now, currently, there was a million empty envelopes scattered about his desk, a large bottle of whiskey next to his arm. He was so far away it seemed.
“Akutagawa sir… Is there something wrong?” She had asked earlier in the week, and had earned a large enough cut that it needed stitches.
He has answered:
“Shut up, don’t talk to me about if there’s something wrong! Leave me be!”
Higuchi didn’t say anything, not even when he took a fifty second drink to take a long swig of the whiskey, and then proceeded to continue trying to write whatever he wanted to send to whoever had caused this kind of turmoil.
Although Higuchi had a good idea who it was.
She was standing in the corner, watching his struggle, before asking.
“Sir, are there any new missions we need to conquer?”
At first, it seemed Akutagawa hadn’t even heard her question, and she stood quietly, looking at the floor, before she perked up at his soft, almost desperate voice as he answered:
“No… There are none for us… I’ll call you back if that changes…”
Never had Higuchi’s heart broke at her Boss’ voice, but this changed that.
So she left.
She walking down the hall, finger pressed into her chin, before her beta senses caught the Alpha’s scent behind her. She turned to Chuuya Nakahara, who had just returned from a long trip somewhere near Nagano, and greeted him with a bow.
“Good evening Mr. Chuuya.”
Chuuya seemed to not have noticed her until then, looking up from his phone, and gave a friendly but superior smile.
“Hello Higuchi. No new mission tonight huh?”
“No sir.”
Chuuya nodded, and wished her a good night, about to pass her when she called out to him again.
“Mr. Chuuya! There’s something I need to speak to you about! It’s important!”
Chuuya stopped, before turning back to her with a bewildered look on his face, before tilting his head towards his office not far ahead.
Eventually, they both were seated, him behind his desk, her in the guest seat, and Higuchi tried to find the right choice of words, pressing her hands into her lap and biting her lip nervously.
“So, Higuchi… What is the problem?” Chuuya asked.
Higuchi blinked, before saying.
“Mr. Chuuya… There’s something wrong with Mr. Akutagawa…”
“Well, what is it?” He tried to keep his calm cool, trying to not attack her verbally, seeing her worried state sending him on edge.
“...He’s…”
{~:~}
Six Months After November 8th…
Atsushi was almost enjoying the attention that his other fellow agents were giving his babies, who were playing with little baby blocks in Miss Seifu’s office, which was separated from the rest of the office with a large pane of glass. He watched as some of the females cooed, and the others all were laughing at how adorable Akachan and Shiro were.
Kyouka had been sent to Yokohama for the day, and so without her help, Miss Seifu had agreed to watch them for a few hours before lunch. She was already a babysitter at heart, having taken care of little children when she was younger, so she was the perfect choice other than Kyouka.
Plus, the twins liked her as well.
Atsushi was signing off a paper for the aftermath of a case when he heard a large wail coming from the office, and something inside panicked.
He was up and through the door, despite the fact someone had said that Akachan was such a crybaby in an adored manner, and he was sure they were right when they said he worried to much.
Akachan had fallen over, and had started to wail like one of those fire trucks, and he could only sigh as Miss Seifu, who had been at the desk before this was next to her with a light laugh. Atsushi walked over slowly and laughed too, before taking his baby into his arms, causing her cries to turn into sniffles as she snuggled closer into the crook of the Weretiger’s neck.
“She’s upset she couldn’t get back up.” He laughed softly, looking to Shiro, who looked on with big curious winter sunset eyes, and sighed in content.
Miss Seifu smiled as Atsushi ruffled Shiro’s hair, with his free hand, and she knew he was better than before.
At least she wouldn’t have to worry about his mental health anymore, he wasn’t as bad as he was during pregnancy.
He was happy, even if a bit lonely.
{~:~}
Chuuya knew it was bad when he entered Akutagawa’s office and had not found him after his conversation with Higuchi.
When he had called Gin, she had answered that he had not come home when he got off work. So Chuuya was left to find Akutagawa’s location through the data base of Port Mafia, quickly finding him somewhere odd.
Akutagawa wasn’t the type to stalk of his own accord.
Chuuya had found him, despite the many hour difference walking to the ADA from the base, and quickly saw Akutagawa simply standing away in the shadows. He had a flask at his belt, since when did the Alpha drink?
When had he gotten a high tolerance?
Akutagawa was taking small swigs every now and then, and seemed to be waiting for someone to cross the street from the ADA building.
“ He has been acting weird since the news of the Weretiger being transferred from the ADA… “
“So that’s what this is about…”
But the reaction seemed more from the Alpha than Akutagawa himself, and Chuuya, remembering that the Weretiger was an Omega, wondered if that was also a problem.
Chuuya was careful in approaching Akutagawa, who noticed him when he came from his blindside, causing Rashouman to growl from his shoulder. Chuuya lifted his hands, hoping not to cause something unnecessary, such as a full on battle between Rashouman and Upon The Tainted Sorrow in the middle of the street of Yokohama, right in front of the ADA’s right side no less.
“Whoa there Akutagawa. It’s just me.”
Akutagawa didn’t lower his guard, just seemed to become stiff and swiftly stopped the growls of his black beast by returning her back into his clothing.
“I’m sorry sir…” He took a second, trying not to slur, before asking, failing at that very task he assigned himself.
“...I… What are you… Doing… Here?” Chuuya shook his head and approached Akutagawa’s side, hands in his pockets as he simply shrugged.
“Your sister and Higuchi were worried about you. They decided I’m the best candidate to help you with whatever’s going on inside your head.”
Akutagawa scowled, went to refuse when Chuuya asked, making any snarky remark that he had died on the tip of his tongue.
“Your problems got something to do with a certain Weretiger, correct?”
It went silent, even more silent despite when Akutagawa simply took another swig from his flask and passed it to Chuuya.
They both watched the ADA building with quiet gazes, before Chuuya turned to Akutagawa again.
“What has got you so irritated about the Weretiger that you’ve decided to take up drinking as a hobby?”
The other didn’t say anything right away, didn’t look away from the ADA.
Akutagawa could only think of one thing. The cries of an Omega, the hurtful feeling of letting the Alpha take full control, of the pleasure coursing through his veins as he corrupted Atsushi. His hand gripped the fabric of his pockets, glaring into the brick of the ADA building. He was disgusting. It was disgusting.
Letting himself take the Weretiger like that.
He only wanted to kill him, but now he had only wished to hear that the Weretiger had accepted his apologies, to all the letters he would leave for Kyouka to pick up.
For something comforting to the sin he hadn’t meant to commit.
“I raped the Weretiger. During his heat…”
Chuuya blinked, before looking at Akutagawa in shock, seeing the regret in the other Alpha’s eyes.
The silver eyes looked blue.
“The alpha just…Took over… Wanted to take care of the Omega… And… It just happened…. It wasn’t supposed to…”
Chuuya blinked a few more times, before turning back to the building.
“Think about it this way Akutagawa…”
Silence filled as Akutagawa stared at Chuuya, listening to his next words carefully.
“It’s likely… That someone as perceptive as him will know how you feel….” Akutagawa stared at him for a moment longer, before turning up to the sky instead, following the sudden change in Chuuya’s gaze.
He didn’t feel angry about the Alpha, he didn’t want to tell him to forgive the Alpha or himself.
It made him feel just a bit better.
“I certainly hope so… The Weretiger can be pretty useless when it comes to using that part of his brain.
“  All you care about is killing whatever or whoever is in front of you!  ”
He closed his eyes, before turning back to the stars of pure gray.
He could only hope.
He could only hope that the Weretiger could move on, unlike him.
He wished to move on…
But sometimes, the only thing a person can do is drink themselves to oblivion, far worse than Chuuya ever could…
{~:~}
Atsushi felt his heart skip a few beats at the sight of his new partner, a tall green/brown haired Alpha that was now seated next to him. After Kyouka had decided to partner up with one of the other girls in Office, one he knew she had taken a liking too, an Omega at that, Tagami Machiko, he was partnered up with one of the Alphas that had gone over seas for an investigation.
Akiyuki Nosaka smiled at him when he entered the room, followed with the question of him being Atsushi Nakajima, and his heart fluttered.
And it didn’t stop.

{DOLOR Part Two: Alpha!Akutagawa X Omega!Atsushi}
Tumblr media
Atsushi never thought that his life would change drastically so quickly over night.
Atsushi and Kyouka had packed everything and had left by 4, in a private car heading to Chino Nagano, and from what the file had stated, they were heading to the outskirts due to the fact that it was likely that the child was going to have his ability. (At least that is what Ranpo had assumed.)
The ride was long, and Atsushi wanted to ask if they could stop for a few minutes, feeling nauseous, and like his stomach was about to hurl even the child within. But he didn’t say anything. Instead just taking deep breaths, watching the world pass by, leaving him and this infant between time, left with visions of how this all had started…
Akutagawa had the look that showed he’d never ever felt this way before.
Atsushi gave off a scent, whimpering underneath him, panting and red faced. Akutagawa snapped his hips, and Atsushi’s knees buckled, face pressing against the stone cold ground. The older male groaned, took a deep breath, before repeating, earning another moan from between the Omega, the Weretiger’s, lips, which were bruised red and purple from where Akutagawa had snapped, biting onto those thin, pretty plump lips, begging for harsh treatment.
Atsushi hadn’t even made a sound of disapproval, which only encouraged the Alpha.
“Taking… Ah!” He groaned, close to the edge, about to knot him.
And even then, Atsushi never seemed to notice the seriousness of the situation.
“AGH! Ak- Akutagawa….! Akuta… Gawa….! OH GOD AKUTAGAWA!” Atsushi arched, and Akutagawa growled, wanted to bite, but instead simply pressed his wrist gland against the omega’s neck gland, and groaned.
“Such… Such… Mmmm, such a good boy!”
The car had stopped in front of a small cottage based home just on the outskirts of Chino, Nagano, causing Atsushi to look at the meadow, the grove with a tree in the middle, even a pond at one side of the house, with a long line of forest on the farther side, with no end of treeline in sight.
It was breathtakingly beautiful, even Kyouka was left silent.
“This is where you’ll be staying Mr. and Miss Detectives.”
“What?!” Atsushi was left in shock.
{~:~}
The inside of the house was just as beautiful as the outside, with shining oak walls, and everything that anyone in a normal household would have and even more.
The porch with carved holding, keeping the porch’s roof stable, led to the door, which had a stained glass window right in the middle. Atsushi almost felt like an intruder, but this was his new home. He opened the door, and just as he had imagined, it was far more beautiful than the outside.
A small five foot length and width hall led to a large living room and kitchen, separated by an emerald colored top counter, the kitchen was just as large as the small hallway, and the living room even more so. The Living room had a simple brown leather coach, with a coffee table in front, with a large TV with a shelf on either side of it, waiting to be filled. The double glass doors led to a large picket fenced off backyard with a small door, a path leading into the forest for little strolls.
Atsushi looked up to see that the roof above grew higher as the second floor’s stairway {which was on the other end of the hallway beside him, which had three doors} led to a middle sized game room, with a hall on either side.
Atsushi couldn’t believe this.
And the driver said that this was being given to him and Kyouka {For as long as she stayed}. And this was his new home. Him and his children.
Atsushi looked to Kyouka, who smiled at his shocked face.
This was their home now.
{~:~}
A cradle was placed at the foot of his bed.
The house was becoming more of their own as the weeks went by. Both of them were working part time at the Chino’s Police center, the detective Agency still filing papers for Atsushi Nakajima’s enlistment and transfer. The Living Room’s shelves behind the couch and beside the large TV were beginning to fill with books, then the kitchen was used for cooking Chazuke {Tea On Rice} and boiled Tofu.
The bathroom was full of medicine for pregnancies involving omegas, smelling shampoos and conditioners, stuff that Atsushi never really thought of using at all.
The Washing room was surprisingly used often, and the office room across was filled with papers for Atsushi to file out for work the next day.
Kyouka living in the spare room across the hall was filled with beautiful kimonos and even her own little books and trinkets of fake gold on the shelf.
Atsushi grabbed the railing of the cradle, other hand lightly rubbing at the bump, smiling softly, and he felt the weight of the creature within become less of a burden and more of something to look forward to. He sighed in comfort, before looking out the large window.
{~:~}
During the Second Month…
Akutagawa was shopping, like he always did when Gin asked.
Today, it was simple ingredients for Udon, and he was just moving to the last destination of his shopping list, only to meet someone he wasn’t sure he was ready to meet. The Weretiger stood at the very front of the next shelving, and they were face to face in an instant.
Akutagawa froze, watching the Weretiger’s reaction to his presence.
Atsushi froze like a deer in headlights, staring in shock, like he had never met him before, and Akutagawa didn’t know whether or not to say anything.
The Alpha within wanted to hug him close, having shared a minor bond within Atsushi’s heat two months prior.
The scent of panic filled Akutagawa’s senses, and his flinched as Atsushi suddenly yanked whatever he was looking for in the shelves, and rushed past him.
Akutagawa couldn’t move for a second, unsure if he should follow.
Perhaps it was really nonconsensual.
And it made something inside feel panic, from the alpha, and a sickness and self-loathing from Akutagawa.
He had taken advantage, didn’t bother to take the omega’s feelings into consideration during sex, and hadn’t stayed long afterwards. No wonder the Weretiger ran away.
And he couldn’t leave it at that.
He turned the corner just as Atsushi was beginning to head towards the counter.
“Weretiger!”
Atsushi didn’t reply, simply ignoring him, pretending he wasn’t there, and continued to pay for his items.
Akutagawa thought of how to get the attention of the omega, and just when he thought of approaching him, Atsushi’s eyes met his, and his heart froze, melted, and then froze again. The tears falling down the Weretiger’s cheeks made Akutagawa sick, and he took his hand back to his side,  having tried to reach out to the omega.
Atsushi didn’t bother, instead, running away to wherever he was heading this time, and left Akutagawa’s alpha to wallow in misery and regret…
“I…”
Don’t leave, I need to talk to you…
But no words were spoken.
{~:~}
Atsushi had been shy about checking the child’s gender, not ready to know anything, still getting used to the fact that he indeed carried an actual child inside him.
Well, he wasn’t expecting this!
“Are you sure?!” He almost shrieked, Kyouka next to him looking on in similar shock at the doctor.
She smiled.
“Yes. I can see them clearly.”
One boy, and one girl.
A pair.
Twins.
Atsushi slumped in his seat, placing a hand onto his stomach, the bump pressing into his palm as he took the information in. Kyouka rubbed his shoulder, blue eyes meeting sunsets, and then Atsushi sighed.
“I… I can’t believe it…” Was all he could say, the other hand gripping the chair handle as the doctor smiled at him.
“At first, I didn’t know what I was looking at, I’ve never seen twins, but after asking one of the Head Doctors, I’ve come to the conclusion you're having twins Mr. Nakajima.”
Atsushi took another deep breath, before looking at the ultrasound pics that had been handed to him earlier.
He gripped the fabric of his shirt, before nodding, and stood up with Kyouka’s help.
“Thank you Miss.”
“Of course. Come by in two weeks for a check-up alright?”
“Yes, we will.” Kyouka nodded, and grabbed Atsushi’s bag, despite the boy protesting lightly, but in too much shock to fully say no.
“Good. Get home safe alright?”
“Yes. Thank you.”
{~:~}
“What do you mean he’s been transferred?!” Akutagawa looked Dazai in the eyes with shock as the taller man simply shrugged, not being curious about Akutagawa’s sudden obsession with seeing the Weretiger.
“I mean what I’ve said. He’s been transferred. It’s classified.”
“Dazai! Why would he leave this city?! Is it because of work?! Was he sent away on a mission?!”
Was it me?
Akutagawa and Dazai shared a glance, and Dazai almost looked impressed with the other Alpha’s defiant look.
Usually, Akutagawa was always to scared of standing up against Dazai, but today, he was too desperate to even care. He needed to see the Weretiger! There’s no way he was transferred. He needed to speak to him.
“Why do you want to see him?” Dazai asked, and Akutagawa simply replied, gripping the heart of his jacket, Rashouman fluttering from the seams of his jacket’s shoulders.
“Because I… I need to apologize…!”
“... He said something happened between you too. Was it his heat?” Dazai awaited, and Akutagawa was quick to answer, simply hoping to see the Weretiger, in hopes of apologizing to him.
“Yes…! I… I knotted him and I need to apologize and see how he is and-”
“There’s no point. He wouldn’t forgive you.”
That didn’t sound like the Weretiger.
“But Dazai-”
“Afterall, he requested being sent away due to this incident.”
Akutagawa knew there was something Dazai was hiding, but the Alpha, hearing that the omega, his own omega, the one he wanted, had left because of him.
And without a word, even though he knew that Dazai was an extremely good liar, but not having bothered trying to actually pretend he wasn’t lying this time, the alpha retreated, feeling broken.
Even though he knew it wasn’t the truth, or at least the whole truth, Akutagawa could only understand that the Weretiger had left because of him.
So he returned to the dark…
{~:~}
Atsushi was sitting on one of the chairs, basking in the sun as he rubbed the bump with ease, eyes closed, a small smile forming on his lips as Kyouka continued to grab some drinks. It was during the summer, and soon enough it time, after this month, he’d be hitting the filth month. They would be one step closer to being within the world.
Kyouka stepped pit of the house, and smiled at him, enjoying the sight of her friend finally enjoying his free days off. It was soothing, and reassuring, seeing him enjoy himself and smile.
She handed him a water bottle, and just in case, a bar of Meiji Milk Chocolate.
It had been his obsession for the past few weeks since moving into Chino, and it was clear that the pregnancy was really starting to kick in, the cravings and cramps, everything.
“Thanks Kyouka!”
“Of course Atsushi.” She took her seat in the other chair, and both sat in silence, a light breeze flowing as they looked over the large field, the green grass swaying lightly, the trees shaking leafs making it a calm, but almost excited atmosphere.
Peaceful.
“I still can’t believe it…” Atsushi stated, taking a bite from his candy, other hand still placed palm pressed into his bump, eyes dazed, far away as he looked up into the clear blue sky.
He could feel Kyouka’s eyes on him, and he elaborated.
“That’s it’s not one, but two. Despite what he did, he gave me something in return. Two little children that will give me a personal hell. But… I can’t help but thank him…”
Kyouka blinked, before laughing.
“I suppose there is one thing he did that was good. Creating two innocent lives… It’s quite the feat.”
Atsushi nodded.
When thinking of someone like Akutagawa, he didn’t seem like the type of person to even get close to anyone intimately, but he had, and Atsushi was carrying proof. But there was also a guilt.
He never told Akutagawa about the pregnancy.
Atsushi hadn’t been marked by the Alpha, so he thought it was proof enough that the other didn’t want him. But even so, it was cruel to have left him in the dark. Atsushi had thought about it, about the regret on the Alpha’s face after he had aided him in his heat,  and wondered how he would have reacted, knowing he was the Father of the children inside Atsushi’s womb.
Atsushi sighed, and they fell into silence again.
Now was not the time to regret.
And there was never going to be a time.
Not when he had two young children who needed him more than he needed to know the reaction of something never to happen.
Atsushi and Kyouka continued to allow themselves to enjoy the scenery, and forget regrets, even if they would only come back…
{~:~}
Akutagawa had gotten his hopes up in the Weretiger returning back to Yokohama.
It crossed his mind more than he’d admit. That was the Alpha talking,  it wasn’t him wishing the return of the Weretiger, but he simply wished to apologize. Was that so hard to ask?
He sat at his desk, grey eyes scanning the once again attempted hack, and was quickly washed out of the ADA’s system, likely by the hacker ability known as Katai.  He gritted his fangs, eyebrows furrowing.
He was losing his patience.
He wanted to speak with the Weretiger.
Privately, the phone, or even a letter would suffice!
But the ADA refused to give away his location. It was making his skin crawl. The Alpha was begging, and Akutagawa simply wanted it to stop. To apologize for what happened and get on with his life, {If the Alpha doesn’t stop wanting to contact the Weretiger, then he needed help} and give the Weretiger closure.
Even if Akutagawa hated him with all his jealousy, he had never wished to take advantage of the Omega.
He growled and his fingernails scratched into the wood of his desk, new marks that would either need shaving or polishing, not that it mattered to him too much.
He stared at the screen as the ADA’s profile  search disappearing, and cursed.
He sighed, placing his pale hands into the palms of his hands, elbows pressed into the surface of oak, and rubbed around his sunken eyes. He had been struggling to do this for over 7 months now. Trying to contact the Weretiger, trying to at least tell him how he felt of the situation and apologize.
Was that not enough?
Was it that horrifying?
Was he that disgusting?
Those questions had been plaguing him since the moment he knotted the poor Omega, and he felt himself getting sick.
Did he really want any answers?
The sense of guilt and self-disgust filled him up to the brim for the 100th time, and he closed the laptop, and rubbed at his eyes as he sat in the darkness of his office, and breathed in deeply.
He didn’t know if he wished to have the answer, and so he left, for another night alone, suffocating from the guilt as it crushed his throat.
He’d try again tomorrow.
Even if it broke him more than he already was shattered.
{~:~}
“Kyouka, have you seen my new package of rice anywhere? Maybe I just placed it somewhere in one of those hazes again.”
Kyouka was leaning against the counter of the kitchen, blue eyes watching in almost glee as Atsushi continued to search for his main ingredient for his favorite meal.
He blinked in confusion, and tried to search all the places he had already thoroughly checked as Kyouka spoke about a different subject altogether.
“What would happen if you got a letter?”
“A letter?” Was this another shenanigan of hers?
He always decided to humor her, even if he was busy wondering where the hell he had put the rice!
“Depends on who it’s from.”
“From someone you hate. But what if they apologized?”
“...” Atsushi didn’t know what to say, simply stopping what he was doing and looking into her sudden serious eyes, and thought about it carefully.
“Well… If it was someone who I hated, I wouldn’t want to forgive them. If they wanted to apologize for something they did, I wouldn’t believe them. There is clearly another agenda. If they sent a letter, I would burn it. Does that help?” He smiled nervously at Kyouka, who blinked slowly, before shrugging it off.
“Yes it does. Thank you Atsushi.”
What he had forgotten, likely for the best in his opinion, was that he would accept a letter of apology from him, but didn’t say anything about that.
He nodded, and continued searching the cabinets, when Kyouka suddenly interrupted the silence again.
“And Atsushi…?”
“Yes?”
“I stole your rice. And I’m feeding it to the birds outside.”
“WHAT?!”
Let’s just say, half the rice was used to feed the birds, and to make Tea On Rice, and the last little bit ruined both their hair.
And Atsushi never noticed the ripped up letter in the trash can that Kyouka had discarded.
{~:~}
It was during the seventh month he decided to call the closest friends to the Weretiger, his own student, Kyouka. He was starting to get desperate, and even Kyouka had noticed how persistent he was in asking for her presence when she had returned to the ADA with information on her and Atsushi’s “mission”.
She decided to meet him in the darkness of the alleyway Akutagawa had chosen.
She stepped into it, suspecting foul-play, but was surprised to see Akutagawa make himself noticed before she said anything.
“Kyouka. I’m glad you decided to meet me here.” He kept his distance, either for her own insecure feeling or his own, she didn’t care.
“You wanted to speak to me about Atsushi. Why?”
Akutagawa hated that.
He hated how she was able to see through him instantly, it annoyed him that he was easy to read. He coughed, and leaned against the wall for support. Kyouka raised a brow.
“What happened?”
“That is none of your concern Kyouka…” He panted.
He shouldn’t be out of bed, not after his surgery, it could hurt his lung all over again.
But he had to give this to the Weretiger. There was no two ways about it. He coughed again, and placed his hand into his coat, stopping for a moment seeing Kyouka tense, before pulling out an envelope. He tossed it to her, which she easily caught. Kyouka blinked in clear confusion.
“That is… For the Weretiger. It’s… Nothing he should be afraid of.” He stated loudly.
He coughed, and turned, feeling the Alpha inside feeling uneasy, like he was missing something, would miss something if he walked away. He ignored it.
“Tell him I’m sorry. Just like that letter will.” He walked away, leaving Kyouka speechless, and leaving an angry, confused feeling inside his stomach that made him nauseous.
Not the surgery, it was something the Alpha was trying to tell him.
He continued to walk away, leaving behind his only chance at figuring out what the Weretiger had been dealing with, without force.
At least he was able to give away the letter that would have never been read.
But he didn’t know that.
{~:~}
The kicking was painful.
It had Atsushi awake all night, and he continued with it for all of the day, through the office and he couldn’t even eat lunch with Kyouka or the other people around them. It was just to painful.
So after work, with the help of Kyouka, headed to see his doctor.
Which lead to now.
“8th month correct?” She asked, typing something into her computer.
Atsushi nodded.
“One week now starting tomorrow.”
“Well, Nakajima, don’t be alarmed, but they might come a bit earlier. It seems to be genetic, and that would explain how your smaller then most omegas. So I’d expect it to be at the end of this month or the first week of the last month when they are ready to enter the world.” Atsushi nodded, and decided to keep it at that.
He had been stressed for the entirety of this pregnancy, but he was getting better, Hopefully that didn’t have anything to do with it.
He smiled gratefully and nodded.
“Thank you.”
“You're welcome. Now be sure to come back next Friday so we can be sure.”
“Yes Madam.”
On their way out of the hospital, Kyouka asked.
“Think maybe they're hungry? Maybe they’re mad at you.”
“Kyouka, I eat twice as much as I use too, and you know how much I eat. But I’ll keep that in mind.” He laughed, and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and they both laughed.
Atsushi was glad to have Kyouka.
He wouldn’t know what to do if he had to go through this all alone. People waved at them and they waved back, and were quick to get onto the slow motorbike, and were on their way home.
Atsushi turned to the setting sun, and smiled.
They would be born by the end of Fall.
{~:~}
It was barely the third week of the 8th and last month when Atsushi’s water broke. It happened while he was brushing his teeth, ready for bed, when the pain washed over him like a waterfall. Gasping, he dropped his toothbrush and grasped the sink’s edge. He took quick little breaths, gasping for air as the agony increased. He looked down to see a large puddle of water, and he felt panic.
It wasn’t for another week or two!
“K-KYOUKA!” He screamed, and instantly, the young female alpha was at the open doorway, and before she could even ask, she saw the puddle, and she had a small look of shock, before pulling out her phone as she dialed the doctor’s number as she went to help Atsushi stand up and breathe.
“Hello. Yes, I have a problem. My roommate omega is going into labor, and I’d like to request an ambulance.”
She told them the address on the way down the stairs, a strong firm grip holding Atsushi up as he cried tears of pain and distress, which was in his scent, making the Alpha uneasy.
“I’d like you to hurry. I think something bad is happening.”
She hung up and he screamed.
And it was one of the most painful screams he had ever let out in his entire life.
{~:~}
“Yes? This is the Yokohama Armed Detective Agency.” Junichiro answered, listening intently.
“Someone wishes to speak with the President? No? Just any agent? Well, please, put them on.” Kunikida looked annoyed.
“What is it Tanizaki?”
Junichiro didn’t answer.
“Kyouka? Hey, calm down! What’s wrong- What do you mean he went into- He passed out?! We’ll be there in two hours alright?” Junichiro hung up and called to Ranpo, ignoring the look of confusion from Kunikida.
“Ranpo! It’s Atsushi! Call the President!”
“Knew it would happen anytime soon!” Ranpo was surprisingly out of his seat, and he turned towards the President’s office as Dazai seemed to understand the situation and got up to call the main people who cared for Atsushi.
“Alright, Kunikida, Junichiro, Naomi, Yosano, Kenji, go pack some things! We’re heading to Chino to visit Atsushi.”
“What? What happened?”
They  had all learned of Atsushi’s condition, and listened closely for any news on him.
“He’s gone into labor! Just a few minutes ago! And he passed out too!” Junichiro exclaimed.
Now everyone else was uneasy.
{~:~}
Atsushi wasn’t in the usual place he would appear whenever he slept.
He was in a train, in the sky, flying towards nothing but open waters. He opened his eyes and watched the water ripple, like maybe he wasn’t in the sky, but in the water itself, and the ocean was sky. Would that mean he was upside down? He didn’t know.
He suddenly turned and was shocked.
He sat on the shadowy end of the train, towards the water, while the other side had open windows and pure white skies. There, across from him sitting in the window sill, was Akutagawa, who seemed to almost be asleep.
The coat flowed without any kind of snaps of the fabric, it was like it was flying.
Atsushi got up, almost ready to fight, but he suddenly felt the guilt he had harbored forever, ever since he left for Chino, ever since he had met him in the grocery store.
How he had never told Akutagawa about their children.
But he couldn’t say it.
“I’m sorry…” Was all he could whisper, the regret filling his sunset eyes with tears.
Everything from the dark side he had awoke on began to swarm him and he cried out, seemingly awaking Akutagawa, who snapped his head in his direction, eyes wide as Atsushi screamed.
“I’m SORRY!”
{~:~}
Atsushi awoke to a bright sunny room, lights shut off likely to help his eyes adjust. He blinked, realizing it was a hospital room, and wondered how long he had been asleep.
Where was the pain?
He remembered falling into the couch and everything turning black, Kyouka shrieking his name as the pain subsided into an upside down dream, where he and Akutagawa seemed to have been enjoying the sleep on a floating train that couldn’t figure out if it was in the sky or under water.
He breathed, and finally noticed the many people scattered about the room, and he felt a relief he didn’t know could flow through his veins.
Everyone, Kyouka, Junichiro, Naomi, Kunikida, Ranpo, and even Yosano were in the room, sleeping in chairs or sharing the couch. He sighed in that relief, buried himself in it as he sobbed lightly, wishing for a shower, a fresh set of clothes and such.
But most of all, he wished to see his two children.
His little boy and his little girl.
Just as he thought about waking up Kyouka, the door opening, causing him to flinch, and turn in that direction, sighing again at the sight of Dazai and Fukuzawa, smiling, before eyes widening at the two bundles, one black, one white, and he gulped in anticipation.
Both Alphas laughed at the look, before Fukuzawa allowed Dazai in, the alpha with dark brown hair holding both of them as he walked over. Atsushi didn’t make a move to grab them, and Dazai simply shook his head.
“You don’t need permission to hold them Atsushi. They’re yours, afterall. Who cares if Akutagawa isn’t here. All they need is you, I’m sure.”
Atsushi nodded, nervous as he reached out for the black bundle, holding them to his chest and riveling in the sheer beauty of his little daughter.
He smiled, almost cried again as he held the sleeping infant to his neck.
She had fluffy white hair, like his, with long black bangs and pale skin, similar to Akutagawa. Atsushi was quick to grab the other twin, the young boy, and smiled even wider. This one was almost an exact image of Akutagawa, but the hair was longer, fluffier, and the white also hid underneath his nape and bangs, the nape being black for his sister.
“Who’s the older one?”
“The girl.”
Atsushi wished he had been awake, and would have felt embarrassed if he wasn’t nuzzling into his young babies, purring all the while, unaware of the looks from everyone who was beginning to wake up.
“Well, better come up with names soon huh?” Junichiro smiled, and Atsushi wanted to hug him so bad, but his children filled both of his arms and he felt a rush of happiness he didn’t know could exist.
“They already have names.” Kyouka stated, and everyone perked up at that.
Fukuzawa walked over in order to hold one of the infants, and Atsushi simply did as he was told, being too exhausted to complain.
“What are they?!” Naomi exclaimed, walking over to Fukuzawa to see the young boy.
Atsushi smiled at Dazai, who leaned over and ruffled the young girl’s hair as the Weretiger said loudly, allowing Kunikida to wrap a blanket around his shoulders.
“The boy is Shiro… And the girl is Akachan…”

Bungo Stray Dogs: MADAME PEARL #1
Chapter One: Fortune Is Unpredictable...
{■□■}
After a visit to the office, she went to the restaurant that Dazai has asked her to meet him. She tapped her fingers against the wheel of her roofless Nissan Skyline GTR R34, cyan eyes catching sight of the small restaurant and was quick to park in the parking lot, turning the key in its slot and removing it, placing it in her back pocket, before exiting her car. She stretched and glared at the window of the small establishment, and was going over ideas to make Dazai pay for getting her involved in the Man-Eater's case.
She liked jobs, but as of late, her eyes and body felt more tired than usual.
Maybe it was the lack of food or the dark dreams that haunted her, she didn't exactly know anymore.
Hiromi sighed and fixed her black leather backpack and looked at her green car and  huffed.
She would rather be at home, trying to catch some shut eye. But she shook her head, a job was a job, so she had no choice but to do it. Besides, she was the one that always said she wanted the extra hours.
She regretted it now.
She pushed past the doors, and was walking into the the dining area. She looked around the golden walls and eventually found the the table where Dazai was seated, and then she met eyes with him and his partner, she nodded.
Dazai and his partner, Doppo Kunikida, were both incredibley tall, Dazai having curly brown hair and eyes of the same color, while Kunikida had shoulder length dirty blonde hair, with grayish green eyes, along with glasses. Dazai's attire consisted of a long yellow-metal colored trench coat, the belt that was supposed to tie it closed undone. Underneath, is a black best over a white and blue dress shirt, along with a bolo-tie, which was held by a brown ribbon that was covered by a turquoise opal pendent at the bow. Along with beige pants and leather dark brown shoes, his body was covered in bandages, although no one was sure as to why. Although he never covered his face due to the fact he was to beautiful. Although that wouldn't explain his feet or hands.
Kunikida had a beige vest and pants, with a black long sleeved dress shirt and simple brown shoes. Around his collar was a red ribbon, and his glasses matched the outfit well if anyone asked Hiromi personally.
Both were opposites in personalities, with Dazai being carefree and absolutely nut-balls, with Kunikids being smart and strict. Although in actuality, Dazai was smarter, a genius. Hiromi, she was easy-going, although she loved fun on jobs, mostly ones that involved battle and winning by the skin of her teeth. Although like only hours in the night, she had gotten upset, due to the children being involved with something awful.
It made her angry and uncomfortable, and sometimes, it sent her over the edge.
Eventually, after looking to the person at the other side of the table, ignoring Dazai's flailing arms and Kunikida's annoyed eyes directed at the man, and her cyan eyes met bright yellow/purple hytrometric eyes of s young boy.
She blinked, before tilting her head as the teens both watched each other with curiosity, before both their eyes turned to Dazai, who flailed and cried out to her.
"Hiromi! Come on! We're right here! HIROMI-"
"Shut up Dazai. She can clearly see us." Kunikida tried, but Dazai had continued to wave her over.
She looked unamused, before rolling her eyes, before walking over, shaking her head as she told Kunikida she'd prefer to sit between the two men. He nodded, stepping away from the booth and letting her slip in. The boy had watched her, before their eyes met again.
Something about the boy seemed unusual, but not his ashy silver blonde hair, or his mismatched eyes, but something she felt from something within. Something similar to her own.
And clearly, the boy thought similar.
Like they had met somewhere before.
But then Hiromi decided to forget about it, and turned to Dazai, who was smiling at her with a light grin.
"Was I late?"
"Nope! Thanks for showing up!"
"I didn't have much choice. You always cause trouble." Hiromi smirked at Dazai's devasted expression while Kunikida actually chuckled. The girl turned back to the boy and tilted her head again, cyan eyes meeting those sunset eyes.
"Who is this? A witness?"
Both men watched as the boy looked confused,  before he laughed nervously, stammering.
"Ah! Ha... My name is Atsushi Nakajima. These nice guys have mentioned you. Hiromi Kikuchi? They said your one of their best fighters?"
Hiromi smirked at the table, before looking up at Atsushi, both caught in that same gaze, like they knew each other from somewhere, de-ja-vu.
"That's right. I'm one of the best."
Dazai leaned forward on the table, watching their eyes which were caught to each other like glue, raising an eyebrow,  amused.
"We were just about to explain the case and see if he knows anything." He whispered, before asking the most dreaded question he asked her constantly.
"Did you eat dinner? Or anything at all?"
"Nope."
He sighed, before grabbing his sushi and passed her the plate, glaring at her for her constant mistake that hurt her health.
"Eat it or you'll be taken off the job sight for a week." Kunikida said, also glaring at her.
"What?!"
"President's orders."
She groaned, not feeling even the slightest bit of hunger, before begrudgingly taking a bite of sushi with a pout directed to the tall blonde.
"Damn you and your connection with the president..."
Kunikida shook his head as Dazai noticed Atsushi's confused look.
"She had bad eating habits. Girl could go for days without eating. It's worries the hell out of us."
Atsushi nodded, slowly, before watching as Hiromi glared at the table, continuing to ear the sushi that had been given to her. Dazai ruffled her hair, Clearly showing his worry.
"Anyway kid. You wanted to know about the case?"
Atsushi perked up, and he nodded, not noticing the way Hiromi stared at him, watching his reaction with intent eyes, both glittering with the look of a young child learning to read a book.
Atsushi couldn't believe the day he was having.
He had thought he was going to starve to death. Then he had pulled a man known as Osamu Dazai out of the River, only to learn the man was a suicidal maniac. Then Dazai had decided to use his friend to treat him as an apology for accidentally bothering (if that was the right word to use for that situation) him. After eating a good thirty bowls of Tea On Rice, he learned that they were Superhumans.
Now a woman sat between the two men, eating at the sushi with an annoyed look, he almost laughed.
And he couldn't mistake her for being normal either.
He could almost sense it.
It made his hair stand up on end, heart racing at a fast pace that probably should have killed him by now.
But it wasn't just her gaze.
She had frizzy brown hair, fair skin, and bright cyan-blue-green eyes, black green douyin makeup surrounding her eyelids like shadows, a slim build, clearly she worked out, with just enough feminine looks to not be mistaken for a man. She wore a single earring, navy blue and crystal like, which glittered from her left ear. Her eyes showed the sadness and bravery of a Warrior.
It was odd though.
She wasnt any older than him, maybe just a year apart (with him being the younger one).
All threw turned ti Kunikida as he crossed his arms, eyes meeting Atsushi's purple/yellow orbs.
"As I was saying before, this job doesn't require any secrecy." The table went silent, awaiting Kunikida's next words.
"We're looking for a tiger."
"... A tiger?"
  Hiromi nodded.
"Yes. We're looking for a tiger named then 'Man-Eater'. It had been seen all over the county and had been causing unnatural chaos." She took another piece of sushi, watching Atsushi's eyes clouding with emotions and recognition within his eyes, both Hiromi and Dazai watching for anymore reactions from the younger boy.
"A ferocious Man-Eater who's recently appeared within Yokohama. But we do not know for sure if it's devoured anyone, but it has been spotted raiding warehouses and eating livestock, and causing, as Hiromi said, unnatural chaos." Dazai finished.
Hiromi watched Atsushi's eyes grow wide, panicked about the news as Dazai continued, likely to gain more reaction to the Man-Eater.
"The authorities have received all kinds of frightening reports of the beast-" He never got to finish his sentence.
Because Atsushi had fallen backwards in his panicked state, bringing some of the bowls down with him to the floor, rattles and crashes echoing through the restaurant, surprising the three detectives.
"What's wrong Atsushi?" Dazai asked, although Hiromi could see just what was wrong.
Clearly he knew of the Man-Eater.
The fear, it clouded his judgment like smoke, causing the boy to begin trying to escape.
"I'll... Umm... Be leaving now... Goodbye..." He stuttered, attempting to crawl away from the trio.
Hiromi rolled her eyes at that, honestly finding it funny, watching as Kunikida stood and caught Atsushi by the back of his collar, lifting him up as the young teen attempted to run a few times more.
"Not so fast kid." He stated.
Atsushi continued his feeble attempt of running, but there was no way out of Kunikida's grip.
"Do you know something you're not sharing with us?" Hiromi almost laughed.
Clearly he did.
She smirked.
This might be more fun than she thought.
Although the look on his face almost made her feel bad. The panic and fear, flowing through his entire body like liquid fire, she could almost feel the coldness of it. Something that made her feel almost like getting lost in the past. But she focused.
Atsushi stopped trying to run as he half-faced Kunikida, every last one of his emotions lacing his voice like an overcast sky, returning to his attempt at running away, far away from Yokohama.
"Don't try...! There's no way you can stop that damned animal!"
Kunikida raised a brow as Hiromi played with the fur trim of her coat, while Dazai wrapped his hands together, both watching the spectacle with curiosity. Hiromi replied, shrugging her shoulders.
"Whatever. We've probably faced worse."
"Don't put your two-sense in Kikuchi." She rolled her eyes again, and was playing with a fork instead of her coat as Kunikida turned back to Atsushi.
"Tell us kids, what do you know of this tiger?"
Atsushi continued yo shake, and something inside churned for Hiromi, causing her to drop her fork at his next chosen words.
"It's after me...! It almost killed me!"
Her mind flashed images of trees, of creatures howling in the night, fires sprouting in the distance, screaming everywhere, following a bright yellow line to hopeful freedom.
Only to realize the trees were people, the creatures were murmurs and orders of those people, and those screams....
Dazai was rubbing her back a bit, hand glowing a faint blue as he tried to help the sands from slipping between her lips. She coughed, and she met his eyes, watching them turn blank, and she tried smiling, only to cough more, both deciding it was best to focus on the Detective and teen.
"If it's been seen around here, I have to go! Now!" Atsushi tries running again, all three detectives narrowing their eyes, although pity hazed over her cyan-green-blue orbs.
"Please! I'm begging you, just let me go!" The young teen cried.
Kunikida sighed, before letting him go, only to grab his wrist mid-air, forcing it against Atsushi's back painfully, and letting out a growl as Atsushi groaned in pain, like he might cry.
Ouch...
"Look kid! You'll either pay for the food with your arm or tell us everything!"
Dazai finally stepped in, stopping his light rub on the girl's back, glowing fading away as he stood.
"Now now, Kunikida... Whenever you ask questions, it quickly deteriorates into an interrogation."
"Just like at work." Hiromi whispered, deadpanning to herself as Dazai only chuckled, Kunikida glaring, having heard her words.
Although the tall dirty blonde haired man knew better, she wasn't fazed, similar to Dazai that way.
Dazai made his way over, finished his sentence with an almost tired look.
"You've been talked to about this." Kunikida simply let out a huff and removed his hand from Atsushi's wrist, allowing the boy to sit up.
"Sometimes it's better to let Dazai try with kids like him Kunikida." Hiromi smiled and Kunikida took a second to understand her words.
Dazai then bent down next to the teen, asking:
"Okay now... What do you know of this tiger, Atsushi?"
Arsushi's eyes met Dazai's, rubbing his shoulder in hopes of dulling the pain, before explaining.
"That tiger kept attacking my orphanage... It ruined our vegetable garden... it decimated our chicken coup... And emptied out our food warehouse.... I mean...." He shook his head and continued, Hiromi noting the sadness behind his eyes, the same look she got when she also got lost in the past.
"No one died... But the orphanage was already on a tight budget..." His mind wandered, and she could see the resentment he felt, could almost see the image he was seeing.
Some place dark...
"I got kicked out so they'd have one less mouth to feed... I don't have a home because of that tiger...."
Hiromi didn't know whether or not he could really call it home, she could see the confliction within, and she was now truly curious, especially because of the fact he seemed to be somewhere else, at a different time and placex full of pain and suffering, despite him being with them currently.
"That's quite tragic Atsushi..." Hiromi stated, earning his attention, for both of them to stare a look each other of their similar resentment, for what, neither of them exactly knew.
"It is." Dazai agreed, watching the look between them, seeing whatever gave them the de-ja-vu connection they both had.
"Back to the tiger..." Kunikida began, fidgeting with his fingers that he had placed within his pockets, eyes only watching Atsushi's reactions.
"You said it almost killed you."
Atsushi's body curled slightly in on itself, eyes wandering to the floor, breaking the connection with Hiromi's bright cyan-green-blue eyes.
"It follows wherever I go... Like it's tracking me... Hunting me so it can pounce and tear me to shreds.... Recently, when I was wandering through the Tsusurumi neighborhood..."
He explained the experience, the tiger having showed up in the middle of the street only to glare at him, and Hiromi began to see something just wasn't right with what he was saying.
Something bothered her with the way the story was told, every aspect of the story Atsushi told. Dazai also seemed to think similarly, both sharing a glance, before decidedly, stayed quiet about their thoughts.
"I've been seeing it two weeks before I was expelled from the orphanage, but I've caught glimpses of it many times since then... My instincts tell me, it's come to the city to hunt me down..." Atsushi sweated, and Hiromi tilted her head towards Dazai and Kunikida, who seemed to both be thinking.
"When was the last time you saw the tiger stalking you?" Dazao asked, who watched Atsushi like an eagle with it's prey all the way down on Earth, and Hiromi honestly found it ironic.
The teen didn't notice how he was being watched in that moment, read like a book. Maybe some things that nine of them knew at that moment, he was reading...
"Uhh..." Atsushi looked up, trying to rack his brain.
"I think last I saw it... Was in Tsusurumi four days ago... Yes... Yeah that sounds about right..." Atsushi nodded, before focusing on them again.
"That makes sense." Kunikida stated aloud, catching their attention as he flipped through his notebook.
"Reports of a wild tiger started coming through two weeks ago." He flipped another page, before snapping it close and continued.
"And then it was sited in Tsusurumi, only four days ago..."
Dazai hummed, tilting his head and closing his eyes, while Hironi sighed, knowing she was going to help him catch the tiger.
It's gonna be a long night...
Why was it always impossible to never watch out for the suicidal f*cking manic? She knew she should have avoided calling Dazai back.
"Atsushi, are you free tonight?" That only confirmed her suspicions, and she watched everything else unfold, playing with the strap of her backpack.
"  !?!  " And Astushi clearly knew as well with the nervous look he gave the trio.
"You being the Man-Eater's target presents a perfect opportunity!" Dazai exclaimed, having turned and began to write something down as Hiromi watched Atsushi's reaction, amused by the look he held on his face.
Dazai turned to him with a smile and asked.
"Would you mind helping us find the tiger?"
The reaction was instant.
"NO WAY! FORGET IT! NO, NO, NO-"
Everything played out from there, Dazai sending Kunikida back to the Agency with the note he had written, before she groaned as Dazai suggested driving her car to a location far from normal civilians.
It's gonna be a long, long goddamn night...

DOLOR: {BSD AKUTAGAWA X ATSUSHI OMEGAVERSE #1}
Tumblr media
DOLOR {AOB A!Akutagawa X O!Atsushi} {PT 1}
Atsushi struggled with the reality of his situation.
If he had been marked, he would have been in more trouble, the smell of the bond would have stunk up the Agency office, revealing the Father instantly. The image of said man made him tremble in fury, yet the memories of what the Mafia’s dog had done to him during his heat had him growling in more frustration than anger.
He had given in, and now he was absolutely stuck.
He sat up in the corner of his closet, holding the pregnancy test with shaking fingers, staring intensely at the two lines, as if his two-toned eyes could make them disappear. But they didn’t, and Atsushi continued to wallow in his own guilt and misery.
It had been barely two months since the incident with Pushkin, and it happened the day after, when he had been on a job and was overpowered by one of the last few opponents. Akutagawa had stepped in, only to be lured by the same smell that the person he had knocked unconscious by Rashouman.
The pleasure drove them both from sanity, at least for the most part.
At least the damned dog hadn’t marked him.
But Atsushi couldn’t figure out what was worse, being marked by Akutagawa, or being knocked up by him.
Atsushi had sat in that corner for the remainder of his free day, crying for a few hours at the realization hit him like a punch in the face. He struggled to understand what he had done to anger the Gods above for them to punish him like this, impregnating him with his enemy’s child of all things.
He looked to the ceiling, gripping the test tightly, so tight that his knuckles had turned white.
What was he doing to do…?
{~:~}
The third month was finally ending, and Atsushi, wearing a large sweater for the cold weather, (as he had told the others) but also to hide any signs from the others, was beginning to become exhausted. The more he ignored the problem, the more they sent him on missions, the more his body felt the weight of his burden, that grew within his womb with every single day.
But that day, he had almost died, due to being too slow.
They had swung to chop off his head, and he wouldn’t have made it if Kyouka hadn’t interfered and used Demon-Snow to fend them off. After convincing Yosano that he was just fine, he was allowed to go home early.(Well, more forced, the others being worried about his well-being).
He remembered the shocked, angry look Kyouka had given him, and he knew he wasn’t going to get out of an interrogation when she returned home.
Atsushi knew he wasn’t going to get out of this.
And he only saw one way, and that was to tell the truth.
And whether it was the child inside him that moved, or the emotions of nervousness causing his stomach churn, Atsushi didn’t feel good.
Not at all.
{~:~}
Atsushi was at the kitchen counter, having boiled tofu for Kyouka, when the door opened, revealing the young blue-black haired girl entered, red kimono catching the light, but not lighting up her face, her bright blue eyes looking up to him with uncertainty.
Atsushi tried smiling.
“Hey! Welcome home!” He greeted the alpha, at least everyone was sure she was one, despite not having presented.
Kyouka didn’t answer, instead flitting her eyes between the floor, and back to Atsushi, and he knew the pleasantries were not making the situation any better. He sighed, before walking over to her, eyes glowing with guilt and misery. He wasn’t ready to face the problem head on, and now he was being forced to tell someone, even though he’d rather crawl into a hole for the next six months and figure out what to do then. But he knew better.
If he simply pretended they were not there, then he’d be in more trouble.
The look he gave must have snapped something inside of Kyouka, who rushed forward and wrapped her arms around Atsushi, causing him to yelp. He looked at Kyouka, the worry in her scent causing him to tear up, and the sobs echoed in his chest.
Damn it…
It didn’t take long for Atsushi to sit Kyouka down, and explain the whole problem, Akutagawa, the child, how many months he had left, and Kyouka gave him the look he wasn’t expecting.
Understanding.
“Sometimes heats come out of nowhere, especially since you had been suppressed for so long during your childhood. You haven’t even had a proper heat until then. And Akutagawa is an alpha, he reacted to the scent you gave off like any other alpha. At least it was someone you knew, but…” Kyouka paused, biting her bottom lip, eyes looking into the wall, Atsushi still crying tears of regret and guilt.
“I’m sorry it was someone you hate…” They both fell into silence, all that echoed was the light hics and sniffs that Atsushi let out, his hands grasping at the fabric of his shirt, right where his womb is, where Akutagawa’s child was growing inside of him.
A child he never wanted, but was stuck with.
There was an option for abortion, but to Atsushi, that wasn’t even a choice.
“How many months are you again?” Kyouka asked, eyes meeting his as they both looked up at the sound of the young girl’s voice.
Atsushi bit his own lip harshly, almost drawing blood.
“Three months…” Another silence followed.
Atsushi sobbed again, covering his eyes as many images flew through his mind, the Headmaster belittling him for being an omega, an ability user, being a tiger, the day the alpha Dazai had taken him in, the pleasured look Akutagawa gave him as he knotted him, but the regret that flashed in said man’s eyes caused Atsushi so much pain.
Even when Kyouka wrapped her arms around Atsushi’s torso, the pain never ceased, and he doubted it would ever go away.
{~:~}
As the forth month began closing in, both the teens were beginning to worry. What would happen if the others (If Ranpo hadn’t figured it out by then) found out about his pregnancy, and who the Father was. And both were worried about the outcome of this whole ordeal.
Later on the third month’s last day of the week, Atsushi began to panic as the large sweater he had bought began to grab looks of suspicion, and that wasn’t the only problem. His bump was beginning to show, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t fully hide it. He could only hope no one would see.
Suddenly, the door to the President’s office opened, and everyone looked in that direction, eyes finding the Alpha president, Fukuzawa, and the Demon Snow wielder, Kyouka, standing in the entrance.
“Atsushi, Dazai, both of you  and Kyouka need to come into my office. We have some business to speak of.”
Atsushi didn’t like the way everyone looked to him and his mentor.
But both did as told, dropping everything and walking behind the President and Kyouka, through a dark hall before reaching the small office, both teens sat in the chairs while Dazai leaned against the wall. The President was quick to take his seat, and didn’t say anything. It was silent, and Atsushi was starting to worry. What was this about? Did they find out about the pregnancy? Who the Father was? Did Kyouka tell them? What will happen to him? What happens when they get rid of him? What happens when Akutagawa finds out-
The door opened and they all looked to see Ranpo.
“Glad you could join us Ranpo.”
“Yeah, no problem!” He smiled, before leaning against the doorframe. “Let’s get this meeting started.”
“Indeed.” Fukuzawa’s sharp green eyes met Atsushi’s mismatched eyes, making him fidget with his sweater.
“Atsushi, you have to answer everything we ask.” Fukuzawa stated in a calming voice, but it only made him more nervous.
“Y-...Yes….”
“Good.” Ranpo walked to the desk, sitting on the edge in front of Atsushi.
“Atsushi, are you pregnant?”
Fear, but not shock…
“...Yes.”
“How many months has it been?”
A gulp, a quiver in his lips, fingers grasping at the fabric of his sweater.
“Four… Starting tomorrow…”
“Who knotted you? Do you know them?”
Of course he did.
That’s what he was terrified.
“Yes. I do know them…”
“Do we know them?”
“...Yes…” Tears were threatening to spill.
“Is it someone in the ADA?”
“...No…” He bit his lip.
“Is it someone from the Mafia?”
That’s all it took, for the tears to fall and he slowly lifted his head to meet Ranpo’s, Dazai’s and the President’s.
“...Yes…” He sniffed, clenching his fists around his womb.
All four other people, all Alpha, looked between each other, before looking back to Atsushi.
“Kyouka said you might be in danger due to being an Omega. But she refused to tell anything unless you were to tell us yourself. I’m sorry for scaring you Atsushi… But we needed to make sure you didn’t lie to us.”
Atsushi sobbed, covering his eyes, but nodded.
“...Are you… Going to get rid of me…?”
“Get rid of you? No. But this is quite the issue.” Fukuzawa stood up, and walked over, reaching out his hand to rub Atsushi’s stiff shoulders.
“We came up with a way for you not to be found out by the Mafia, but can still work for the Agency. We’ve decided that you and Kyouka, until the child is born at least, move to a different part of the country to work for one of my colleagues.” Fukuzawa explained, and Atsushi looked to the person he was looking at.
Dazai simply smiled understandingly, while he said.
“I already have a good idea of who it is. Which is why it’s best if you get transferred instead of staying indoors. Plus, where you're going is a safe haven for Omegas and for a child to grow up a bit.”
Fukuzawa pulled away from trying to comfort the young Omega, before stating.
“We decided it was the best course of action. For both you, and the child.”

Bungo Stray Dogs: MADAME PEARL #1
Prologue
{■□■}
The city glowed brightly in the darkness of the night sky, and near the center of their core, disgust of the crimes and destruction below made their stomach churn.
They stood alone on the edge of the large building, hidden in plain sight, cloaked and their cyan eyes watching from underneath the black clothing, arms closer, awaiting their orders.
They sigh.
They were beginning to grow restless.
They were here on an important mission, and these kind of jobs sent her a little over the edge.
When it came to children, she couldn't help but growing more and more tense.
The man who owned the building, whoever he was, (they couldn't remember, they never bothered too) had been claimed to have been stealing and trafficking children.
It made their blood boil.
Who could do something like that to poor little children, they always asked, but they never got an answer, neither out of the people who did such horrible things, or life.
So they were f*cked.
Suddenly, the earpiece became static, before a voice echoed through their mind, and a grin bloomed across their lips.
"  You have the a-okay Kikuchi! Get going!  "
They nodded, and stated loudly, throwing their cloak off the roof, revealing a slender, 5,2 heigh, 102 weight, slim built woman of 19 years old, with light brown hair with dark cyan streaks in her bangs, her skin fair, even in the pale light and shining gold of the moon and city.
Her clothes consisted of a casual long sleeved black dress that reached her ankles, knee high boots, dark pale green blue stockings, and a large fur trimmed jean jacket that was a good twice her size. She wore black leather fingerless gloves, and a single earring blue in color.
"No need to tell me twice!" She pressed the off button and grinned, and in one swift motion, she jumped over the edge.
Hiromi Kikuchi was a flashy stubborn agent for the Armed Detective Agency, an apprentice for the well known lazy agent with the name of Omasu Dazai, someone who had taken her in two years before.
She was eccentric, but knew how to do her job.
She was here to break into the highest office of the large building, where the owner of the building was most likely keeping the kidnapped children. Hiromi grasped the cloak, propelling herself mid-air in front of the large window that lead to the Main Office, and cried out, everything slowing down just for her.
"SPECIAL ABILITY! MADAME PEARL!"
Light filtered from her finger tips, glittering like rainbows between her hands as she began to control it, revealing anyone to look close enough, that the lights were white sands, reflecting light of the stars and buildings.
She created and controlled a special type of sand, twice as powerful as a moving train, with the ability to increase and decrease the amount she brought out activating MADAME PEARL.
As long as she could see, she could control a good fifty feet away from her actual body.
The sands bashed into the glass, shattering it and with one swipe of her arm, the sands flowed behind her, taking the form a floating glittering wolf, Langshen, who barreled around her and threw her into the building.
She tucked and rolled, landing on her knees as the security alarm went off, blaring throughout the building.
She looked to the side, before her eyes grew wide, seeing and hearing the glint of the mechanized row of The Range 702s, and moved behind the desk next to her, fully shielding herself from the barrage of bullets heading her way.
She looked to her cloak, before smirking and with a quick swipe of her fingers, Langshen appeared, grasping the cloak between it's white fangs.
Then it jumped over the table, throwing the cloak at the last part of the row of men, before attacking the closest one.
The the last ones not being attacked by the MADAME PEARL Ability's true form, were screaming, trying to shoot at Hiromi, but she was dodging quick, rolling to the side, and before any of the personal could stop her, she grabbed one by the chin and bashed his head into the wall behind him, the wall lightly crumbling from the force that surrounded her fists and forearms, glittering bright as rainbows as she glared at one of the men.
She turned to the right, and kicked that man in the testicals, before turning and wrapping her arm around the last of the man's neck, and twirled, grabbing the trigger and shooting all the others in the knee, legs, shoulders, anywhere that didn't cause fatality.
Meanwhile, the ones who weren't attacked by Hiromi, were being attacked and knocked unconscious by Langshen, who slashed at their backs, legs, arms, knocking them into submission.
She smiled, throwing the man in her control over her shoulder, dislodging his arm, before kicking him across the room into the next wall, destroying any chances that he would get back up.
When all of the men were paralyzed, Langshen returned back to her, and she nodded with thanks, before smirking, turning to face the corner where the only working light lit up the last one, the owner of the building, ugly as a toad and eyes as wide as any flies, held her at gunpoint.
Hiromi's eyes met the kids behind the man, and she felt ease, seeing none of them bruised or scratched or beatn in any way. Then she smiled at the owner, although her eyes held a malice only a monster could carry...
"How rude. I just came to pick up the kids." She flicked her hair and then turned fully to the man, rage flowing through her veins, hot like lava within her very core of spirit.
It took everything in her power to not send any of these men to hell for what they did.
But they didn't matter, the children did.
"Tell me Mister. Why did you abduct these innocent children?" Hiromi was slowly walking across the room towards the owner, causing him to panic, but despite the shaking of his finger on the trigger, she didn't stop her advance.
Kids shrieked, but she continued anyway, even when the man growled and screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Stay back! YOU CAN'T WIN AGAINST ME!"
"You didn't answer the question." She replied, as if he wasn't pointing a dangerous weapon at her.
Like it would work anyway.
She didn't heal, but she never got hurt anyway. She absorbed normal weaponry like quick sand.
So she held no worry.
"I'm giving you two more chances to answer or else I'm breaking your lower spine, so you'll never walk ever again."
"I'll kill one of them! I SWEAR-"
"Not if they make a profit on the Black Market, which is highly likely what your trying to do. But that doesn't answer my question. You have one more chance."
He pulled the trigger, but it was clearly a warning shot, yet Hiromi showed no signs of hesitation, or was she fazed.
She was suddenly in front of his gun, and suddenly, she grabbed it by the nose, and aimed it at her forehead. She glared at the crumbling man, before smirking.
"Come on then. Answer the question, or shoot."
The man looked shocked, before it turned into blistering anger.
"YOU MOCKING ME YOU B*TCH?!" He went to pull the trigger in hopes of taking her life, but the only sound that echoed around the large room was the click of an empty handgun.
While the children couldn't believe their eyes, the man was horrified.
She glowered up at him, and she suddenly gripped the gun tightly, before pulling it away and throwing it aside. She glared at him, before in a flash of brown and cyan, with bits of bright lights, she had him on the floor facefirst, and with one swift punch yo his lower back, sands using twice the force of a car punched alongside her.
The force knocked his lower spinal column away from the rest of his spine, instantly crippling him.
He screamed, but he could not move.
He wouldn't be able to for the rest of his life.
"You didn't answer the question. But I have a good idea..." She looked to the children, who still hid within the shadows of the corner, only small paper cuts and a few bruises, but nothing severe or suggestive.
And Hiromi felt ease from the revelation.
She reached out her hands, slowly getting to her knees, welcoming them into her light, the sand glowing around her head like a halo.
The children were in awe as she smiled heartfelt, and asked with a large grin.
"Let's get the heck out of here, what do you guys say?" The sand took the form of a wolf, or even a dog, and appeared around her with bright white eyes, the ones that reminded people of the sun in the middle of the night.
"Let's go home!"
{■□■}
The incident was cased by the police station, and the children were all being reunites with their families, poor or rich.
Hiromi sighed with relief, watching them, before a pain of sadness filled her heart for a second, before she decided to check up with the Agency.
The only one who had called was her Teacher, or someone she could even call friend, or family, (not that she would ever admit it) was Dazai.
She smiled a bright fanged smile, before calming herself, and calling him back.
"Hey Dazai. What's up?"
" I need your help with a mission. I heard you're done with your case from Ranpo!  "
I should have pretended you didn't exist for a few hours she thought, before sighing.
"Why?"
"  Because only you can help! Anyway, I'm sending you the address! Come immediately!  "
"But isn't Kunikida helping you with the Man-Eater case-"
But before she could confirm his partner of the current case Dazai was working on, or protest against him, he hung up, the dial tone blaring before she tapped her phones off button, before turning it back on, glaring at Dazai's contact number. But when the address came up on her screen, she raised an eyebrow, before she was quick to start her way across town.
If she didn't show up, she couldn't save the damn idiot from whatever trouble he'd gotten himself into.
But she wasn't expecting what she would find...

SOUL EATER Review
I had heard of the anime Soul Eater before, but had never tried it until today.
Now, the first thing I have to say, is that it's the exact kind of thing I'm interested in, both the connecting of people and death and life. I've only watched four episodes so far, but I know I'm gonna go through it like I did BSD seasons 1 through 3 LOL.
I hate myself, but then I love myself.
Favorite character so far is Death the Kid though. I can understand where he's coming from.

The Snowflake And Mr. Dreaded
CHAPTER ONE
Tumblr media
{~ A Meeting You Won’t Soon Forget ~}
“The night sky is when the Superheroes RISE!”
The Newspeople honestly annoyed Willow even more than the people who use their abilities to rise in power. Willow wanted to punch the TV, and he probably would have if his leader, X-Static, or Rei, the current King of Wellston High School, hadn’t stopped him.
As of currently, the two Superheroes were on a job of capturing drug-dealers of a new-found gang known as ‘EMBER’. A new group of people who didn’t agree with the ideals of Superheroes. He couldn’t wait to beat some sense into them.
Although he usually never actually fought, he was the term ‘backup’ defense from the background, or similar to a sniper. Although that did not mean he couldn’t fight his own battles.
He was Snowflake, a Level 7.0.
He was known for creating spears of pure light, walls of brightness to defend other heroes, the backup sniper for Superheroes.
But tonight was different.
He was sitting on the edge of a building, a dark brown cape flowing through the light breeze of this very stormy year. The sky was cloudy, and the air was crisp and cold, his hood, half-face, and goggles hiding his skin and hair, and even his eyes from the iced air, and from being identified.
He was just about to call X-Static when something caught his gray/yellow eyes.
Through his dark green goggles, two shadows crossed the street below and went into the alleyway across. He blinked before standing up and pressed the intercom in his ear.
“X-Static. Can you hear me?”
“Loud and clear Snowflake. Something wrong?”
“I just saw two people, both male by their body shape, cross the street. I’m going to check it out.”
“Okay. But don’t instantly attack. They could be witnesses or victims.”
Willow nodded.
“Understood.”
With that, using light to lightly propel himself to the ground, the Hero Snowflake began his pursuit.
He was wearing all dark clothing, so he could properly hide away in the shadows, even hiding his white hair underneath a tight beanie underneath his hood, it should have been easy to hide away.
But shards of dark navy blue crystal came at him, surprising as he turned the corner.
What-
His instincts instantly activated, as did his ability, eyes glowing through the glass of his goggles, bright gold as he used light shields, in the form of spiderwebs and snowflakes, blocking them and deflecting them with the simple swings of his arms.
When there were no more attacks, he turned to the other side of the alleyway, and from one of the fire-escapes of the little brick apartments on either side of the alleyway, hang a young man, no younger or older than him with long, waist length flowing platinum blonde hair, a long silk drown trench coat, navy eyes glaring at Willow with an annoyed look, like he had intruded on something. Then Willow’s eyes flitted to the man standing on the ground.
He was older, with mixes of silver, aging hair, with pale orange hair, and eyes of coral pink. This older man had a simple black leather jacket and jeans, white button up and regular brown leather shoes.
Willow glared between them as the younger boy jumped from his spot on the fire-escape and landed next to the older man.
Sorry Rei.
But they attacked me first.
But he knew he had to interrogate them before beating them into unconsciousness.
“Why are you following us boy?” The man asked before Willow could try to ask his own.
He blinked, before standing up straight. Perhaps he had misunderstood the situation, and they had attacked, thinking he was one of those people who had frightened them to begin with? Just a theory of course.
“I’m here to see if you're in any kind of trouble.” He looked between them.
“Me and one of my companions are searching for members of a new-found gang known as EMBER. I was hoping you had information. Or the other option, to figure out if you're in any danger.”
The man and boy looked to Willow, before each other, and then back at Willow again.
Then the man shook his head.
“Are you one of those heroes correct?” Willow tensed.
“Alright then. Tell your friends to stay out of this. We can take care of this ourselves.” Willow titled his head.
“Ourselves? Who are you?”
“None of your concern.” Another voice said to him simply.
He turned, shocked to see a taller figure, just by a few inches, with long brown hair, with a black button up, jeans, and leather boots. The only color, other than his tied brown locks and pale skin was the coat wrapped around his shoulders, dark red and light weight, flowing through the wind like it was made of feathers.
Willow instantly recognized this figure.
“Your… Mr. Dreaded…”
“And you're the Superhero known as Snowflake.” Mr. Dreaded replied, tilted his head, his own see-through mask creasing, almost smirking at him.
“You're part of the Major gang…! The Crime Establishment…!”
“You are correct.” Mr. Dreaded stated, walking past him, watching with vibrant pink eyes, through the holes of his masquerade mask.
Willow looked between the three men, before asking, standing in defense position, the one Rei had taught him. Mr. Dreaded turned, and replied, crossing his arms.
“Me and my own companions, Mr. ‘Pendragon’ and the ‘Crystalized Elf’ are searching for the gang known as EMBER. These people are not under our influence or a part of any other ‘companies’ that we are associated with. Snowflake, I suggest you take Mr. Pendragon’s advice, and take you and your other heroes away from the case of EMBER. We shall take care of this. Take your leave.”
Willow blinked, before turning away, deciding to report to X-Static of the situation, when Mr. Dreaded called out again.
“You should take better care of yourself. Even the smallest cuts can cause catastrophe.” Willow whirled back to Mr. Dreaded in confusion, before looking down the cut on his upper palm, and assumed that it must have been from the attacks that the platinum blonde had attempted.
Willow looked at the other, golden gray eyes met vivid pink ones, and he turned and left.
{☘️}
Willow and Rei had met up after the stake-out, one with nothing and one with the message of a mass crime organization that warned against getting in their own investigation. Rei had seemed shocked at the news, and both decided against heeding the warning of the Crime Establishment.
When the sun came up, and the duo had gone to Wellston High School, Willow had sketched the three males he had seen last night. He couldn’t be bothered by their message.
He was going to beat EMBER, whether they, or the Crime Establishment liked it or not.

UnOrdinary: The Snowflake And Mr. Dreaded
Prologue
{~ A New Beginning ~}
It all started when a new second year of Wellston student approached the King of his school, intent on speaking of the book the green haired older teen was carrying.
The King was shocked, but relieved that someone younger than him and his friend was interested in the book as well.
The young student was so interested in what the book had to say, he made a suggestion that would put the entire country in a panic.
They could die because of this, but just like the book, they saw the wrong in this world.
They became Superheroes, and believed the ideals of the book UnOrdinary.
The book Willow’s Father wrote for his hateful brother.
{~ Without A Likely Happy Ending ~} ~Willow Roman Doe
{The original story is on Webtoons, known as UnOrdinary. This is my OC/S story, where the brother of the main character, Willow, is in the town of Wellston a year early, due to the fact he's a year older then him. This is only book one, a year before the original storyline, and mainly, {yes, it has action of course} his love story with my other main OC, someone who hasn't been introduced yet. Both are male, so for those who do not wish to read, well, that's alright. Just skip this. But I do reconmend taking a look at the Webtoon UnOrdinary. It's an incredible story!}

WHY? WHY DID I EVEN WANT TO KNOW-
So, out of curiousty, I looked up the definition of the AOB, {Alpha, Omega, Beta} fandom, and I literally fucking had to hold in my laughter and the disbelief of what I had read. It's not that I mind, I've read a few, but never fully understood {Because I'm a dumba**} and so I decided to take a look.
I kind of understand what it is, but I kinda regret reading it.
It's not that I'm disturbed {In case your wondering, I was mostly a shut-in when it came to the internet. I didn't even know what the Pop genre of music was until I was 13} it's just that it's honetsly hilarious. It made my day, I almost started hysterically laughing at my screen.
Now I have to torture myself and write something about it to see if it's my thing or not.
Thanks to whoever reads this.

{ROSIS Pt 1} {Undertale AU Based}
Tumblr media
Running would do nothing.
They were sure of that.
They didn’t know anything else.
Eyes bulging from their skull, scanning the grass, pure black within the darkness, no stars littering the sky to light their path through the forest.
They couldn’t even remember how or why they were here.
This wasn’t fair.
What had they done to deserve this?
To watch that person slowly butcher everything they knew, to destroy their home.
They felt it growing closer, and they breathed harder, rushing, crashing into branches, roots catching on the hem of their clothing.
The light of those pages, it was to appear someday in front of them.
Their cape was losing it’s color, and only light source they carried was disappearing.
That thing must be growing close.
It was so unfair!
Tears littered their skin, and their golden silver eyes brimming with tears they didn’t know as they screamed a name.
Hoping that person had heard, they continued to run through the darkness, the destruction of their home disappearing into black and white.
Suddenly, something grasped their ankle, and pulled them to the hard tiled floor.
They gasped, before screaming from the pain, their arm caught underneath their back as something, eyes glowing white crawling on top of them, jaws dislocating from it’s shredded, blood covered skull and shrieking like a mixture of a screaming tea kettle and chalk scratching against a school board.
They screamed, and yet they couldn’t escape the Vaperem’s grip.
They sobbed.
They just wanted someone, a friend to their world to come.
But perhaps that person wouldn’t come.
That’s when someone in the golden light ahead appeared, shadow casting darkness as their pinpricks looked on in shock at the scene.
They couldn’t believe that person had actually appeared.
“INK!”
The skeleton looked on in shock as the born-child screamed and struggled even more, before screaming out, lifting his large brush, ready to battle for the last SOUL of the destroyed AU known as SKY-TALE…
“ARO!”
{~:~}
Dream remembered the day when Ink had brought that child with him from the darkest part of the Multiverse, where the UN-NAMED AUs resided.
The child covered in dust and blood, with eyes, hair and a cape around his shoulders that glowed as bright as starlight. Ink had been to the child’s Universe before, and enjoyed visiting them. But that day, he had been running late due to a battle with Error, and when he had finally begun his way over, he had heard the screams of his favorite child.
The born-child.
A human child born within the SKY-TALE’s ruins, raised by their human parents who had fallen there, and resided with their Toriel.
The child had been silent for some time, but he eventually began to talk, and began to follow both the skeletons.
A special human child, with black markings covering their skin, their hair glowing black, gold, and white, eyes of gold and silver, cape around their shoulders that seemed to also breathe, and a SOUL that was a mixture of two colors…
Red and Amber…
Determination and Resilience…
Thinking about it now, as Dream watched the teen train with Ink, fending off attacks, and putting up defense of bright pastel colors of lights flashing between his finger-tips, his cape allowing him to fly through the ink attacks and the swipes of the large paint-brush that Ink carried, and he found that the traits of AMBER had started from his early child-hood, after witnessing and surviving the plague of his AU.
Despite the harm he had taken to his SOUL, the damage having turned to that bright AMBER, Aro, the young child, boy, was strong.
But even this was incredible for the positive skeleton, even with Determination, Aro was twice as strong as anyone he had ever met.
It reminded Dream of someone from the past, something Ink had discarded when he took in Aro.
He forgot about it, smiling softly as he carried food for them, and watched Master and Student with sad eyes.
This boy was incredible, yes, but what does Ink think he was doing?
{~:~}
The Sanses belong to their creators.
Though Aro, the concept of 'Born-Child' and his AU, SKY-TALE, is all my creations. For those you decide to read this, thank you very much!
This is only PT 1, ROSIS, which it the meeting between my two OCs (Who hate each other currently) and then whatever happens afterwards, will go by a different name. Basically a Book 1 of the SKY-LINEs and WitchVerse. Which both are mine.
SKY-TALE (SKY-Lines) by VJ Studios
