You know I'm still in denial about the ending of Voltron Allura should have lived, Lotor should have been a good guy, Lance and Keith should have ended up together.

Like come on Allura should have had the chance to be queen and rule New Altea she should have have the chance to enjoy the universe that she helped save.

Lotor should have been a good guy. Like he should have been the embodiment of what the Galra were before their Emperor and empress where corrupted. And having him and Allura be friends or even romantic partners would have been a symbol of unity to the rest of the universe. Like he defeated his father and took over the empire and together with the last of the Alteans he was righting the wrongs done by his father.

And come on Keith and Lance had the classic rivals to friends trope it wouldn't have been difficult to and one more step and make it rivals to friends to lovers. They dropped the ball with this one. I read somewhere that the show gave us a gay character but they made the wrong character gay, meaning that a lot of people would have been ok with Shiro being straight (and with Allura) and Keith being gay (with BI Lance).

And what the hell did they do to Lance!?!? Like someone who was so full of life and passion was just a shell of a person by the end of it? No way I absolutely hate what they did to him. He loved space, loved to explore and yea he missed his home and family but to make him be basically grounded and rarely leave the planet after everything he did to save the universe was just wrong.

I like that Shiro was gay it was different but did they have to make him lose Adam before he got a chance to see him again? Like that's fucked up. The writers kept using Shiro as a punching bag in this series. Also side note I would have been ok with Shiro and Allura getting together like they had the whole parental vibe to them and Shiro being the black lion and Allura bonding with the white lion it made sense that they would have been a good pair. But also I kinda liked the Shiro and Matt Holt ship. Like the fact that Shiro did everything he could to keep Matt safe was so sweet I wouldn't have minded if the ended up together.

Idk that's just my rant I watched the show in March of 2020 so I was not a part of the fandom while the show was on air so I wasn't around for the craziness of the shipping. I heard it was bad that a lot of fans left the fandom because of how toxic it was.

college au where lance works nights at a takeaway and he's there for ages and when he finishes his shift he walks home, and it's freezing and he's shivering and in one hand is the food he's bringing back, held close to his chest, while the other holds his phone to his ear as he talks to keith about all the customers that came in.

like the kind old man who tipped him extra, or the lady who forgot her glasses and couldn't see what she was doing and kept giving him the wrong money, or the guy who came in with a leather jacket and a mullet that didn't look nowhere near as good on him as it does on keith.

then when he gets back to his dorm, keith rubs lance's hands to make them warmer and lance nestles into keith because keith runs hot so he's always just so warm.

they grab some forks and settle on the couch, sharing a blanket over their shoulders, and eat the takeout while laughing at whatever corny movie happens to be playing

A little sneak peek of a Klance fic I’m working on for the amazing @peekaboo-desu. 

“Atta girl,” Keith said, coming out first, gently pressing the back of his hand to the TARDIS’s window pane the way a parent would a sick child to take its temperature. “She was a little resistant to land, wasn’t she? Maybe the stardust is different around here?” 

Keith fished his glasses out from the inside of his suit jacket and put them on the way he usually did when he got scientific. He stuck out his finger, swiping it through the air and brought it to his lips. “Okay, a little… metallic, I guess. Like drinking orange juice out of a stainless steel cup. I mean, it’s gross, but it shouldn’t cause indigestion or anything…” 

The analogy made Lance shudder. The face he pulled was, as always, adorable. In all of time and space, Keith had never seen one quite like it. Eyes so honest they put the goddess Veritas to shame. Bluer than any sky, any ocean, and set in a beautiful, tanned freckled face. Nowhere in the universe had he seen a more perfect arrangement of stars or a better constellation that spoke to a fraction of the bravery and valour Lance possessed.

Fangs 

Keith touches the tip of his fangs with the pad of his thumb, wincing when it breaks into the skin. Blood bubbles to the surface but he ignores it. For the first time, he misses seeing his reflection in the mirror, but the only thing the glass reveals is the bedroom behind him, not even the figure on the bed. Who he knows is peering at him, studying his reaction. 

Lance rolls off the bed, feet landing with a soft thump on the carpet, and walks over to Keith. He maneuvers around Keith to get a better look at his face and leans against the closet door. Lance’s hair is spiked from laying on the pillow for so long while waiting for Keith’s body to turn; the creases of the sheets are printed onto his cheek. A toothy smile reveals his own fangs. “Final verdict?”

“My mouth feels funny,” Keith says. It’s like he has braces all over again and his lips have to figure out how to fold over his teeth. 

Lance hums a laugh. “You’ll learn to retract them soon enough.” Then that soft laughter becomes more of a deep chuckle as he shakes his head in disbelief. “Nothing about the immortality, enhanced speed, eyesight, hearing? No, your mouth feels funny.” Lance pulls at Keith’s hands before they venture up towards his mouth again. He drags him away from the useless mirror.

Keith sets a glare on him. “You never told me it’d be like I was teething.”

“I’m sorry I forgot that one little detail after spending months and months preparing you for this.” Lance rolls his eyes. His fingers card through Keith’s hair, tucking a long piece behind his ear before traveling down to his neck and tracing over two small holes that are just starting to scar. Keith shivers at his gentle touch. Lance’s lips dip into a frown. “Do you regret it?”

“How could I when I get to spend forever with you?”

“Forever’s a long time,” Lance says, tone light but expression heavy. “You could get bored of me.”

Holding Lance’s face in his palms so he can’t turn away, Keith stares at him straight in the eyes. “How many times do I have to tell you that I want this, that I want you. That I’d become a vampire every time if it meant never leaving your side.” Keith doesn’t care if he has to repeat this over and over again. He will do it every time Lance’s insecurities or guilt or whatever takes up brief residence in his brain.

In the end, it had been Lance who had the most reservations about turning Keith into a vampire. But by that point, they had been dating for five years and Keith knew Lance would be his forever person. He didn’t want to leave Lance behind with heartache when he’d eventually die from old age–he just didn’t want to leave Lance behind at all. After months and months of preparation and constant need of confirmation, Lance finally agreed.

“Being dead turned you into a sap,” Lance says, “Romantic declarations are my job, Keith.”

Keith’s face twists and he drops his hands from Lance’s face. “You’re the worst.”

“Wanna rethink being stuck with me now?” Lance teases, nudging him in the ribs as Keith squirms. Vampirism did not relieve him of his ticklish spots apparently. But Lance looks happy, genuinely happy since the first time Keith came to him with the proposition, so he allows Lance free reign. His nose nuzzles into Keith’s cheek, lips pressed into his skin.

Keith grins, mouth aching from such a wide smile. “Never.”
