WEEK 8 HW
Before:
Tumblr media
After:
Tumblr media
Changes Based on feedback from the last class meeting I realized the icons I had previously were confusing and hard to pinpoint what it actually was. For this week I decided to update these icons making them much more recognizable for their function and frame. I also decided to add a new page for the search instead of having it on the same page as the home.
As well as for adding an accessibility/inclusivity feature I went out to create a body type selection for the app so that more people can utilize it to truly see if that an outfit can work for their personal body type
Scenarios
Keeping scenarios the same to test the efficiency of the icon changes from last week

4. if it's cold, I dress warm, if not, I wear a crop top or a skirt.
5. I’m very comfortable and it makes me excited to explore more within the fashion realm. I try wearing things I wouldn’t usually wear, but fitting them into my aesthetic rather than anything rigid.
6. my fashion style is mainly inspired by popular trends within the early 2000s, and early 2000s gyaru (mainly kogal fashion)
7. I get the majority of my clothing from thrift or small pieces from fast fashion after assessing their quality (shien)

INSIGHTS, SOLUTIONS, AND FEATURES
Everyone takes around the same time to get dressed. 30 Minutes is still a lot of time to pick an outfit. This can be cut down.
Most people dress differently based on the weather
A lot of consideration into what they have planned.
Some just want to be comfortable in their own closet but some want to experiment.
Tiktok/ social media is a big influence
People rarely get rid of their clothes. Maybe they lost ideas on how to style it thus not wearing it.

WEEK 2 HW ENTRY
I believe that for the article, "How to think differently about doing good as a creative person," it talks about topics that are sensitive and that don't really want to be talked about. However, these type of articles are necessary because a lot of people may know someone or could be someone who does have a CSC. In these cases, this article helps identify this issue and offers many true solutions to actually help provide aid rather than doing something for just credibility. This article gives off an important message, which is that even with good intentions, as creatives, work can still cause harm and must be thought about carefully

WEEK 1 HW ENTRY
The type of design I like is advertising designs as well as swiss designs. Advertising design, like UI & UX, involves problem-solving and research. The Swiss-style design focuses on shapes, composition, and contrasts to make a beautiful and simple piece.
My idea for an app design is still in progress, but the idea is to possibly create an app that cleverly guides a user through the app and is appealing aesthetically at the same time. Ideas?
Open Parking App (Be able to find a parking spot with a quick tap)
Health Tracker App (Track Doctor/Dentist appointments and get reminders to check up on health)
