eleanore “ellie” wallace. 21. youtuber. enfp. the sixties.

*wears halloween themed costume jewlery year-round*

ellie is a scotland native, but she and her parents came to the us when she was in high school. her father is a biomedical engineer, and he had the opportunity to work for a company in denver.  

had zero difficulties making friends, but considering she was the cute new girl with a great accent that wasn’t at all surprising. had zero interest in scholarly things and has always been the more artistic type. world’s most unenthusiastic cheerleader, too pastel to be punk.

right around the time she graduated highschool, her family’s visa’s were expiring. which was horrifying to her because she really did not want to go back to scotland - her home was in denver. 

thanks to an off the cuff joke that spiraled into a serious solution, ellie married her then friend now husband roan wallace to stay in the country. ellie loves roan she’s just not in love with him (and it’s mutual) but she’s so so grateful to him for helping her keep her life. (her parents are content back in scotland, but she doesn’t go to see them much because she gets paranoid about leaving the country)

had these big plans about going to college but her husband is an enabler and made it really easy for her to stay home and just... not do that. but because she needed to preoccupy her time she started a youtube channel. it began as just a general beauty channel, but eventually she started experimenting with special effects make up and renamed the channel haute and horror. (inspiration: glam & gore)

has amassed a pretty substantial following, frequently uses her brother-in-law rory for clickbait purposes (and as a model for looks she doesn’t feel like doing on herself), and launched a second channel titled ellievlogs that she posts videos on two to three times a week. her legal last name is wallace but she still goes by her maiden name, ellie dunne, on youtube.

is also secretly dating the afore-mentioned brother-in-law, i.e. her husbands twin. i know, what a mess. but their relationship is limited strictly to the confines of their house, and her and roan are amazing at keeping up the pretense of being a happily married couple. 

ellie is pretty much a super sweet caring person, who also happens to be sassy and occasionally mean but like... in a sarcastic way. basically she’ll say mean things but she doesn’t mean any of it and she’d probably be the one crying if it actually hurt your feelings because again, she’s a big ol’ softie. she’s also permanently obsessed with all things horrific and spoopy.

needs: other youtuber friends that she can rope into collabing with her and being in her vlogs, people she went to high school with, maybe people who are genuinely fans of the work she does? idk man just give her stuff.

tragic backstory is Tragic™

the daughter of two hot mess twenty years olds who had absolutely no business having a child, tiffany doesn’t have a whole lot of great memories. her mom bailed before her first birthday, and her dad didn’t really want to be a dad, but he sorta got stuck with her. he wasn’t mean or abusive, he was just indifferent - like he’d rather she didn’t exist.   

tried to be great at everything to prove she had value, ended up being moderately good at some things and a permanently stressed out perfectionist. chronic b student and class vice president. (she’s good at coming in second)

went to a decent college, hasn’t seen or talked to her dad since she left for freshman orientation. majored in psychology and has her bachelor’s, but has never really done anything with it.

got into a bad relationship just before graduating. he was controlling and manipulative and cruel and you’d think being a psych major she could spot a toxic relationship when it was right under her nose, but we’ll call this a case of willfully blind.

became a housewife at 21, because that was what her husband wanted. stopped going out, because that was what her husband wanted. stopped talking to all her friends, because that was what her husband wanted. tried to be the perfect wife but that was impossible considering she was dealing with a raging narcissist. 

stayed in that miserable marriage for five years before finally getting the courage to leave. still legally married to him because leaving that marriage meant taking what she could and getting the hell out of dodge.

has been living in denver for about three years now. got a job at the treasure chest as a bartender because she’s so not in any place to be helping other people deal with their psychological issues when she can’t even deal with her own. 

also volunteers at a crisis call center. genuinely wants to help people, and has struggled with her own depression and suicidal thoughts. finds helping other’s fight theirs to be cathartic and therapeutic, so it isn’t a totally selfless thing. 

despite all that, she isn’t a cloud of doom and gloom i promise. she’s difficult to get a read on and she’s got that mysterious vibe going on, but she’s surprisingly good at conversing with people. mostly because she understands that what most people want isn’t someone to talk to, but someone who will listen to them, and she’s good at that. she’s a good person, just one with a lot of baggage. 

needs: like a couple of really solid friends who still know v little about her life before moving to denver, regular’s who frequent the treasure chest and look for some bar therapy inbetween lap dances, other volunteers at the crisis call center, flings - she’s more into the long term fuck buddies than the one night stands, possibly a future thing but boy will that be complicated.

binge watches horror and thriller movies like no one’s business.

halloween is more important than christmas and she invests a lot of time and money into it.

pretty and soft but also spoopy and dark.

loves 90′s rock and wishes she could be a grunge throwback without being totally cliche.

at any given point has like six to ten open bottles of fake blood laying around.

recently got a bull terrier puppy and named him zero, obviously after zero in the nightmare before christmas.

has several different horror themed tattoos. 

will probably overdose on matcha green tea one of these days.

has every different shade of red lipstick under the sun and wears all of them alternatively.

terrified of ouija boards because of a bad experience that still haunts her to this day.

totally believes in ghosts and also believes they are not to be fucked with.

loves the colors pink and black in equal measure.

is very tiny and likes to wear big heels to pretend that she is a normal size human.

sassy but also a total sweetheart.
