ooc: indefinite hiatus

A bit sudden, but it's time.  

Most of you know that the mun's never been the best at punctual replies hah, but offline life has taken a priority in ways that the writing standards have suffered.  There's other contributing factors, but that's the main one.

On the technical side, there'll be 24 hours until I put up a hiatus page - I suggest grabbing drabbles/art/threads while you can (since access will be harder).  I'll still draw occasional RepComm art (including the busts; those aren't forgotten), on my art tumblr.   Occasicanal meta from my personal will likely be tagged in the main tag so there's that.

To reiterate, this isn't a 'I'll never RP again' - but until certain things change, it's likely the mun won't log back in for a year, at least.

It's been a fun two years with some crazy threads and memories, and I'll miss ya'll.  Happy RPing.

ooc: RepComm art request time!

As this account and the mun's art blog just passed a milestone follower number, I'd love to give back to the fandom in the form of art requests!  : )    

That being said, some quick guidelines - 

stick a character you want to see drawn in the answer box below - asks and fanmail will not be accepted.   Character has to be featured in the RepComm books.  if they're true mandos there's a little bit of leeway here.

Cutoff point is 5 drawings - if there's more, I'm going to have to start picking random ones.  D:   Characters that don't get a lot of fanart will likely have priority.  Ditto for ones that I haven't drawn before.  ( previous RepComm drawings for the curious. )

results will be a cellshaded bust.  Please let me know if you'd like the helmet/armor on or not.

It wasn't often that Vau found himself on the far side of the Outer Rim territories, but a higher bounty often called for more extreme measures.  He didn't need the money these days - odd after living a fairly close hand-to-mouth existence for decades - but any chance to get away from meddling associates was a decent one.  

Looking up from his datapad, he was faced with the sprawling masses of a tropical world, and the deck of the first halfway clean bar he had seen in years.   Clearly, the notion of neatness had not migrated to the Inner Rim territories yet, though the surrounding gossip still remained dubious as ever.  It was here that Vau waited in the shade - either on the datapad's codebreaker, or for a hint of the scraggy human.

The predawn light in the main room was dim, just enough for Vau to make out the outline of Mird a few steps away, and to clean the dismantled rifle in his hands.  It was a solid weapon, lighter than one would expect - and exquisitely deadly.   Kal Skirata's taste was severely lacking in many aspects of life, but verpine rifles were not one of them.

Faint sounds of a wire brush on metal were the only evidence of life in the clan homestead - the di'kut was away with the Nulls on some escapade or another, and had left Vau to watch the household.  It was an unique flavor of irony that the man who fully intended to kill him -twice- trusted loved ones to his hands in a span of months.

It was at the end of the thought that he heard movement from Mird.  The strill was staring sleepily in the direction of the hall, presumably hearing one of the occupants and their footsteps.
