i think civvies who take this shit too seriously would be surprised how many clients have a more nuanced understanding of consent than they do.

to me there's a thread tying this to adding 'consensual' or 'ethical' to any mention of nonmonogamy. it's this weird moral emphasis that can't possibly be good for shaping the way we think about it.
