Catalina Island from the bluffs at San Clemente State Beach.  We loved this park, the sunsets were amazing from our picnic table bbq perch.

Loch Awe in the ruggedly beautiful Loch Lomond and the Trossacs National Park, Scottish Highlands. The days are short, but winter in Scotland offers six or seven hours of beautiful, soft light that is always something of a mix of sunrise and sunset. This is a stunning place, complete with castles and forests and old stone villages. It was as romantic and dramatic as we had always imagined.

There are few sports more beautiful to photograph, film, and watch than surfing. I am addicted physically, mentally, and artistically at the moment.

Loving our California nights by the sea. After the fire dies, we climb into the camper and listen to the waves all night long.
