It was easy for Gongshil to think people were playing with her, keeping her around because she was quite weird. Truth was that seeing ghosts ruined her selfesteeem and sometimes it would get in the way. She usually didn’t care about what people thought of her too much, but once she was close, or anywhere near close, to someone their perception of her and how they treated her mattered. She tried her best to look as normal as she could for people like that. “I–… I don’t know. I just felt this way.” It wasn’t his fault, it was just her overthinking. “I’m sorry, I kind of ruined the mood for tonight right?” She let out an embarrassed chuckle.

Dongwoo was quick to perk up, his head shaking in response to her comment, an innocent gaze emitting from his eyes. “Oh gosh no! I mean.. I’m really sorry if I made you feel that way at all, but I can assure you, you didn’t ruin the mood tonight at all.. how about we go get ice cream and get our minds off of it?” a goofy, wide grin easily was placed on his lips, offering his arm out to her. He felt so bad for giving her any doubts, he just hoped she’d open up to him and trust him enough to tell him anything that bothered her.

Dongwoo found himself nodding eagerly at the response as if Sunggyu could see him. “Yeah! Lunch sounds great. Just text me where you want to go and I’ll meet you. I feel like it’s been too long, I’ll try not to talk your ear off when I see you again. Hope everything’s well with you, I’ll see you soon, okay??” He tried to the control the speed in his voice as much as he possibly could in comparison to how excited he actually was to be able to get out with someone he really considered a family member.

Deep in his mind, Hoseok genuinely had to ask himself if he was making the right decision. Going through with something that made him step out from his comfort zone was hard, but he couldn’t just back out now; that would look so bad on him. Pressing his lips tightly together, he nodded, “Yeah, yeah, I’ll be okay.” the tone in his voice didn’t sound too sure but he didn’t want to ruin the day they were having. It was probably silly, really, why he was so afraid a a measly exotic animals exhibit at the zoo, but there was just the thought of a turantula or a snake getting out of its cage somehow and finding its way on Hoseok’s person that made him very uneasy. “Let’s go, then~”

tatiana pouted jokingly as her stomach growled, anxious for the food after a long day’s work. she’s thankful she has the older man taking care of her. everything was still a little new and somewhat scary to her having moved from so far away, and having youngmin look after her and offer his support was such a relief to her. she considered herself lucky, seeing as many of the other trainees didnt really have anyone like that. her brows furrowed together at his teasing although a smile was still present on her lips, giving him a playful and gentle kick to his foot under the table. “and what would that say about you, hmm? taking a young trainee out and letting her drink a lot? don’t think you thought fully through your plan.” she teased with a laugh.

Youngmin felt really... lucky to be able to have Tatiana’s trust when it came to being a trainee. It was a nice feeling to have the responsibility of taking care of someone so close to him, it really meant a lot to him. Taking some of the ready meat, he placed it on her plate in front of her, taking the rest for himself before adding some more on. As she spoke a playful pout found its way to his lips, letting out an exaggerated groan soon after, “I should have known you would have found a way to turn this back onto me. I’ll think of a better one for next time. For now, just eat this delicious food I just cooked for you.”

She was filled with both excitement and relief as she felt his hand hold onto hers, a wide smile pulling at her lips, “Let’s get a quick snack first, then we can look at the art, and I believe in an hour there’s going to be a dance show in the center of the festival and I’d love to watch them.” She stopped herself, looking up at the other and tilting her head slightly, “We can do whatever you want also. I know you said it’s my day.. but I want you to have fun too..”

As he was left alone in the middle of the seemingly large open space, he watched her go set up what she wanted to show him. He would take small glaces around the area, taking in the surrounding and noticing just how different it was compared to it being full of people. He was pulled from his staring when she spoke again, sending a large and reassuring smile her way accompanied by a thumbs up, “Really, I promise I’ll be completely honest! Are you almost done, because you keep talking about it and I’m really anticipating it.”

It was strange being in a location normally filled shoulder to shoulder with people on a Saturday night, but it was also kind of cool being the only people in there and seeing what the place actually looked like without drunk club-goers thrusting all over the place. He turned his gaze back to the girl who was dragging him through the foreign area and nodded. It was nice to hear really that his opinion was important, never really seeing himself as anything other than an average guy just trying to live his average life, really. “Okay, okay. I’ll make sure to really listen, but I’m going to be honest, okay?” he answered, the corner of his lips curled into a half smile.

I’ve lived here all my life, I know this area like the back of my hand, “ he replies, his smile widening at the thought of it. “ I love dogs too, they’re the best! Such a shame that you’re allergic to them though, but at least you can still be around them with the help of medicine, so you don’t totally live a sad life, “ he teases with a light laugh. Once they finally make it to the coffee shop, Steven opens the door for Momo, feeling like quite the gentleman. “ Ladies first. “

Momo was really just appreciative that Steven was even listening to her. To have been paying attention, that was just icing on cake. She let out a short giggle as the other mentioned teaching him some moves. “Oh? Can you dance? If not, that’s okay. I’m good with beginners.” dainty fingers covered her lips as she looked away shyly from the wink. How charming. But she nodded eagerly when he offered to show her around, “I’d really love if you could show me the area. I’d like to stop getting lost.” she was embarrassed, not really one to be good at directions in the first place. “I would rather suffer an allergic reaction than not be able to be around those precious animals.” She laughed, brushing her bangs from her forehead. Once arriving to the coffee shop, she slipped through the door he held for her, “Ah~ thank you!” She pressed her hands to her face as she pondered what she wanted to order, “It smells so good in here. I wish I could have everything..”
