Startup Catlang Notes

For starts, this is extremely undeveloped. These are just my notes for what I have so far. dashes (-) are used to combine two words into one phrase, such as Twoleg or Thunderpath. Apostrophes (') are used when two words are somehow shortened to make a single slang term (the translation for Upwalker and Freshkill will be these words). Things such as cat names and Clan names are not seperated by any means. So for example: Two-Leg, Thunder-Path Up'walker, Fresh'kill Redfoot, Whitewhisker Another important notation is that cats don't describe specific colors, rather they have very broad terms. Suffix list!

Note: suffixes denote a certain skill or ranking that is important to know. Most of these are from Ailuronymy’s traditional system, but some are of my own making.

-star: a clan leader. -leaf: a skilled healer. -flower: a good parent or caretaker. -paw: a young cat in training. -kit: a cat too young to train.

-claw: a cat talented in the art of battle. -fang: a cat good at both hunting and battling. -whisker: a skilled hunter. -foot: a fast runner. -nose: a good tracker. -song: a cat who conveys stories and folklore particularly well. -tail: a cat with good balance. -leap: a cat who can jump higher than most.

-wing: A notably cunning and intelligent cat. -cloud: a calm, cool, collected cat. -storm: a high-strung and energetic cat. -heart: a cat who is loyal to their own ideals.

First Things First - Welcome! A quick overview.

Hi! My name is Tilly. I was inspired by various sources and decided to make a blog specifically dedicated to Warrior Cats worldbuilding. I have three Clans (FireClan, SmokeClan and WildClan) and a rogue group that shares their borders. In this world, cats have developed selective sapience in the Clans and a few clowders beyond their borders. The cats between these smart groups are less advanced and therefor less respected among the Intelligent Cats. This is reminiscent to the books Longshanks, or Ratha's Creature.
