it feels like a box tv
tv approx 15x7.5x16inches, flower pot and flowers approx 7x23inches, cardboard and acrylic pen
this piece reflects my experience of being stuck at my part time job whilst the electricity was out. we had to shut the shop but continue cleaning inside and whilst people were window shopping and peering inside i felt as though i was being watched in a tv box.

the comfort of the notes app
a4 collage print
i use the notes app to keep my fingers busy when i’m feeling anxious or thin of something random and i wanted these random lists and numbers to have a larger meaning. the notes app acts as a saviour in uncomfortable situations, with this piece these anxious thoughts start to serve a purpose.

boris said to take a walk
digital print
dealing with anxiety and depression through corona virus lock downs, the pressure on students was immense and even sometimes thrown back into our faces. Boris's degrading advice of 'taking a walk' to deal with this loneliness instead of genuinely helping university students is reflected within this piece.

take me back a little x instant attention
a3 print and digital print
i decided to recycle a piece from the images project 'take me back a little' and pair it with another collage piece to create the a3 spread. the pieces worked well together in terms of colour and technique. though the pieces are similar they still work strongly as individual pieces. the work on the right is titled 'instant attention' and works well as a focal point of the piece. this work was displayed in the platform gallery grid show.
