pressbox sports grill has delicious food, great drinks and a chill atmosphere. if you're looking for somewhere to catch the game, I recommend going to one of their locations because there are plenty of TVs to watch from.
** please note: this is a combination of pressbox north east Fresno and pressbox Clovis locations
whether you're there to share some apps with friends or ordering a full entree, pressbox is a cool place to be. plus! if you want to share an entree plate with someone, they'll bring it out on two separate plates. which makes life so much easier when you don't have to do it yourself 😍
I recommend the pressbox sports grill if you're looking for a sports
pssst, what we ordered πŸ‘‡πŸ» ne fresno : πŸ₯” potato skins without the green onions πŸ— chicken quesadilla 🍟 basket of fries Clovis : πŸ₯” potato skins for an app πŸ₯ͺ tba sandwich [split plate] πŸ₯ͺ tba sandwich [full] πŸ₯ͺ spicy chicken sandwich

this is your yearly reminder to be brave. act on that crazy idea. or dream that seems out of reach. do that thing that's been weighing heavily on your heart. whether it's moving, starting a business, going on a trip, doing something solo, if it's a personal thing.. it's time to be brave and.. just do the damn thing ✨
today is my ultimate [so far!] brave day. this is my forever Boston day. 10 [t e n!!] years ago today, I had two suitcases and one carry on filled with my belongings, flew 3k miles to Massachusetts and stepped into a state I had never been before, a city I had never been to and a place where I knew no one to start a new chapter of life.
y'all -- this is how "crazy" I was for moving there: I didn't even have an apartment and most of the ones I set up to view were snatched before I even arrived πŸ₯΄ my parents were with me for a week and I literally secured my apartment the day before they left. then a few days later I started my new job in Boston's financial district -- that I definitely got lost going to for a few days until I figured my route out πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ this small town country girl had a little bit of a rough start trying to adapt to a city.
it was scary as hell. but.. it was one of the greatest adventures of my life. I lived there for 4.5 years before deciding to move back home. I miss this city every stinkin' day, it's always a part of my heart. and am so, so glad I decided to stay instead of turning around and heading back home πŸ’š

have you ever seen the historic state landmark signs for nitt witt ridge when you're driving through Cambria? if you're like me and you're always wondering what the heck nitt witt ridge is.. well, I took the brave leap to follow the signs and drive up to nitt witt ridge.
and let me tell you why that was brave πŸ‘‡πŸ» 1: the drive up to the house is a little scary 2: there's signs saying you can't go to the house and we weren't sure what that exactly meant.. so we kept driving 🀭
good news: you can follow the signs and drive up to the house, there was room to pull off to the side to see the house. the house is blocked off by a fence because, as you can see it is a hazard and is falling apart.
fun facts** about this historical state landmark πŸ‘‡πŸ» πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸŽ¨ reclusive artist Arthur 'art' Harold Beal originally purchased the hillside lot in 1928 ⛏️ spent 50 yrs carving and creating his "castle on the hill" with only a pick and shovel 🏠 items that makes up dwelling: remnants of Hearst castle, beer cans, abalone shells, concrete, washer drums, car rims, tile, car parts and old stoves πŸ’° property sold on 2022 and permanently closed

if you've been thinking about going on a solo trip but you're too afraid to do it.. take this as your SIGN πŸ‘€ be brave && BOOK THE DAMN trip and goooo.
my favorite and biggest solo trip to date was spending my birthday in Ireland☘️ in 2017. I almost didn't go but decided to be brave. I convinced myself that it would be a great trip that I booked the airline ticket. then promptly freaked tf out. like.. what did I just do!? but! I kept my reservation and went and had the best time. honestly, I really want to go back to Ireland, that's how much I loved it.
the thing about solo travel is that you get to experience somewhere new, but you also learn so much about yourself. it's a special kind of experience ✨

add Bayside cafe to your list of places to eat at in Morro Bay πŸ”₯
oh, and also be prepared to wait when you go. we arrived around 1:15p and we had to wait. however! they were great at turning tables and the wait didn't feel long at all.
if you are lucky to sit inside the restaurant, you will be treated to amazing views of part of the bay 🌊
what we ate πŸ‘‡πŸ» app πŸ‘‰πŸ» πŸ¦‘ calamari strips idk what we thought we would get, but we didn't realize the strips would be so thick. they were good tho, not sure if I would get it again main courses πŸ‘‰πŸ» πŸ₯ͺ club sandwich with n o tomatoes doesn't disappoint, filling, delicious, I'd recommend πŸ₯£ clam chowder in a bread bowl it was good, but had an overwhelming onion flavor.. which if you like onions is great, but if you don't you're not going to like it as much 🐠 fish && chips delicious, crispy pieces of fish. a little bigger pieces than expected, no complaints!

pit stop alert 🚨 the elephant seal vista point in San Simeon along highway 1
fun facts πŸ‘‡πŸ» 🦭 the best time to visit the lookout is January, April, October or fall and winter 🦭 there are seals at the rookery year round; however there are peak times 🎟️ this is the only rookery in the world that is easily accessible, free and open to the public every day πŸ“ adult males can reach 16 ft in length and weigh up to 5,000 pounds 🌊 when the elephant seals leave the shore, they swim up north to Washington, even Alaska without stopping then return to the rookery πŸ–οΈ when they're at the rookery, they're resting and/or breeding and barely leave the shore since they swim non-stop

a little compilation of our new fav drink shop top dog coffee bar located in Morro Bay. there are coffee options, hot chocolate options, tea options and select adult beverages available. plus! f o o d. πŸ˜‹
my favorite drink to get is the white hot chocolate. I've also tried a mimosa and that is equally as delicious as the white hot chocolate. one morning, we popped in for a late breakfast. I tried the avocado toast and it was oh, so tasty. the bacon was crunchy, the layer of cream cheese was a surprise but really good. I highly recommend trying it if you're there and hungry!
every time we're in Morro Bay, we try to stop by and get a drink. the staff is super nice, the drinks and food delicious, AND they allow dogs. oh! they also have a really cool garden patio in the back.

when in western Pennsylvania, do yourself a favor and visit oakmont bakery πŸ˜‹ you will not be disappointed! it is a world known bakery, a very popular spot - so when you go take some time to look at the display before drawing a number because they call numbers quickly and you don't want to be the person holding up the line.
once you know, take a number and pay attention when it's called. they have cookies, cheesecakes, pies, cakes and more. a little cafe if you're wanting a bite to eat while you're shopping for treats. my family tries to visit the bakery every time we're in Pennsylvania because it's just that frickin good.
