❛     do you think someone who’s been hiding all this time can still be good?     ❜ it’s an out of context question,  even for makotos standards  and yet it is one that has been plagueing his mind for days, perhaps even weeks now.   plus somas opinion is the only one he truly cares about currently. truth be told, the swimmer was scared. of being honest with himself --- with others.  of facing the fears he’s been hiding from & ignoring since day one. it was a slump, a cognitive dissonance fighting between him accepting what happened and moving on or trying to heal from issues.  now, all he’s able to do is hope that the prince knows better than him ( he probably does, soma is a lot smarter than him after all, isn’t he? )                 ❛     i’ve been ... wondering.     ❜
