I wanna write a slice of life anime about a Mexican girl and her family living in a border town in south Texas. Mexican people really enjoy anime and it's become so popular especially with streaming platforms becoming more available.

I'm inspired by all the tiktoks i see of parents cosplaying and enjoying their time with their kids by sharing an interest in anime. I'm so jealous but it makes me so happy to see people with loving parents who embrace their kids' interests. I wanna explore what my life would've been like if i wasn't abused and if all the beauty and color of my home wasn't taken away from me.

I also wanna tackle things like immigration and separation of families. I wanna address the pedophilia we hide and protect in our families. I want to address machismo and how it hurts our boys and men as well as it does everyone else.

We love anime so much why aren't we making more of it? Idk the first thing about animation but i have the experience of being a Mexican girl who lived in a border town and regularly visited Mexico.
