Audrey squeezed his hand lightly, feeling almost exposed as she had when she was being turned. “Darling, I want you enough for more than that. But I can only have so much of you. So yes, if you’re interested, I would like to end this period of celibacy with you. Very much.”
Wayland lifted a hand to her jaw gently, letting his thumb caress her skin a bit before he bent to kiss her gently. He treasured any moment someone deliberately chose him, even if he didn’t ever truly accept that he deserved it. Breaking the kiss slowly, he murmured. “Of course I’m interested Audrey. I’d be..well, I’d be honored. Even if that is a weird way of saying yes...”

She kissed his shoulder lightly before looking up at him, “I haven’t had sex – the penetrative kind, anyway – in hundreds of years darling.” Audrey admitted. “After I walked away from my maker, there wasn’t another who I felt could fill that void.” The vampire was probably less carnal than many of her counterparts, having fought to be more connected with her old self and her emotions. “But here you are, darling.” She hoped it was enough of a lead in that he understood what she was talking about – and perhaps he would connect it to what she had mentioned considering when they were downstairs.

Wayland studied her curiously as she spoke, admittedly unsure why she was telling him this at first. “Okay....oh.” He blushed softly, though his eyes didn’t leave hers as he carefully took her hand in his own. “To ensure I understand you....you want to end this period of celibacy with me? You...want me enough for that?”

If Tobias could get Wayland more to become a little more comfortable with him every day, he’d be happy, and yet he hoped Wayland would always remember his place. The demon may care for him, but he was a slave, and that should never be forgotten. It didn’t matter if they were comfortable, if they enjoyed each others company and attitudes, when in public, Tobias was the master here and he wouldn’t let anyone forget it.
That cute awkward feeling sitting on the slaves cheeks was just getting better. He was happy watching it, and he was smiling as Wayland tried to explain himself and his way of thinking. He was about to tell the human he was adorable, but he’d already told Wayland to stop talking so he wasn’t going to contradict himself now. He was just excited when he felt the human take a little initative and take his shirt, not just a more dominant and confident movement than before, but a dominant kiss and one the demon responded to with vigor. He kissed back, his hands sliding up Wayland’s damp back with a smirk tugging at his lips as his tongue tasted the human and he pulled him in till his groin was rubbing against the other mans. “Now this is so much better.” he smirked “You and me Wayland, we’re going to make this work.”
The knowledge that the demon would never care for him, that he was a a slave and little more than a pet fish to the man was what was helping him keep his distance. He liked Tobias, and he knew he was getting more and more attached each day, but if he kept doubting himself and his worth and reminded himself of what a waste he was perhaps Wayland could keep his attachment more distant, rather than actually giving his Master his heart and adoration. The human was scared of what that would mean for him, and intended to keep himself safe from becoming enamoured as long as he could.
What also didn’t help him stay stoic and closed off to the other man was their moments of intimacy like this one, the demon’s lips moving beneath his while their groins rubbed together. Tobias was incredibly attractive to the human, and every time they kissed or made love Wayland wanted more and more for Tobias’ praise and to please the demon. Kissing the man again, he broke it gently as their speaking resumed, Wayland’s eyes finding Tobias’ . “Yeah? You really think so?”

“So serious.” Tobias replied and gave a smile. He knew the human was being honest but it felt a little like light teasing and that pleased him. While he may have fallen for the stoic nature of the slave, he did enjoy some teasing, along with trying to get Wayland more comfortable around sex, and if so happened that it made the human more dependant on him, that was just even better.
“I quite like it.” he said with a smirk and watched that blush on Wayland’s cheeks. The tall, dark handsome ones were usually the cocky ones, but not this one, Wayland was confident in ways but not when it came to looks or social skills, and that slight awkwardness was intriguing and appealing to the demon.
“You are aware we’re just going to get dirty and sweaty with what I have in mind right?” he asked, and even quirked up his brows, hoping Wayland wasn’t going to be a prude and worry he wasn’t presentable enough when Tobias had already expressed his desires. “You’re over thinking things again Wayland, so just shut up and kiss me, okay?”
Wayland smiled softly at the other man, shrugging a little. “A little solemnity doesn’t usually hurt anyone.” He nodded, slightly more comfortable with the demon than he’d been in the past. There was something casual about their talking today, and the slave was glad of the demon’s company on this particular day.
Running an embarrassed hand through his hair, he managed to hold the other man’s eyes as he smirked at him, knowing he was blushing like crazy. He felt stupid, and confused when it came to the demon, and Wayland didn’t quite know what to do with that feeling.
Laughing softly, he nodded and shrugged. “Maybe so, but the dirty and sweaty that comes with bedroom activities is somehow different than this...I don’t know.” He blushed again and stepped in closer, speaking softly to the demon. “Sorry. I’m trying not to as much.” Another flicker of a smile and then the human latched onto Tobias’ shirt and tugged him close, kissing him deeply.

Audrey kissed his cheek in return, with a small but affectionate nuzzle. “Hardly, darling.” She said softly, but knowing they would go in circles she let it go – for now. Instead she continued them on their way, into her bathroom where she reached to turn the shower on. Then she turned to start easing him out of his clothes, fingers tracing over his form as she did. It was soothing (or attempting to be) and more affection that she wanted to show him. It was growing more personal. “Can I confess something, darling?”
Wayland made no further comment and just let her lead him into the bathroom, her light touch soothing despite the shame he’d likely always feel whenever someone looked at his scars. Except maybe Tobias, the demon’s appreciation for them and the pain they represent helping ease that upset. But he looked at her seriously when she spoke, his voice soft. “Of course Audrey.”

She paused on the stairs, although she took a step up to be on level with him, “Darling – this is meaningful. I know it’s not really tangible, something for you to see what you’re doing but.. Lessening a void that’s hundreds of years old – I daresay even thousands of years old – you easily return anything I give you. More than.” It made her wish she could offer more. But she was probably already being far too honest with him. It was dangerous to let herself feel this way, but she kept flirting with the danger anyway.
Wayland met her eyes, though not for long before he had to look away. He couldn’t possibly be worth so much. He was useless, and she just endlessly kind. Daring to kiss her cheek, he gave her another soft smile. “Thanks Audrey. You’re too kind.”

Another squeeze of his hand. Audrey kissed him lightly again too, before tugging him along towards the stairs. “I don’t know if I can explain why I feel the way I do, darling – not enough to really make you understand. I just know that there’s an emptiness inside me, that I’ve had for a very long time.. and it lessens with you. Don’t ever feel as though there’s nothing you can give me because really… you give me quite a lot.” It wasn’t the explanation of what she was considering but it was a strikingly honest assessment of how he made her feel.
Her kisses really were quite distracting, following behind her once she tugged him and listening to her with some shock. “i lessen an empty feeling?” He himself was an empty shell, full of rejection and sorrow, but if that was what she wanted to let fill some of her void he wouldn’t object. “You do so much for me I...I simply wish I could return the favor in a more meaningful way.”

She could feel his eyes on her, and she knew he didn’t really understand her. Given that she hardly understood herself, that was fine. Once the door was closed behind them, she paused and smiled gently at Wayland, leaning in for a kiss. “It confuses you, I know. But you mean something to me, darling. I realise how rare that is but it’s true. I’m even considering..” She trailed off for a moment before squeezing his hand, “I’m getting ahead of myself. I’ll explain after you’ve had a chance to refresh yourself.”
Wayland easily returned her kiss, looking at her as she began speaking. Something about her soothed him, made him want to believe he was worth someone’s time. As she spoke his brow furrowed, unsure what it was she could be considering. After all, he wasn’t hers. “I..it does. But the feelings are yours....I’ve no right to challenge them even if I am rather...shocked by them. But sure....explanations can wait..”

“It’s not a waste to me, darling.” Audrey told him, “Blink of an eye or not, I’ve learned to appreciate even the short term.” The vampire linked her hand with his, “The likes of you would be worth getting in trouble for, I think. But I’ll do my best to avoid that – for both of our sakes.” She admitted, perhaps a little too freely but she didn’t think Wayland was about to get her in trouble either. Squeezing his hand lightly, she lead the way out of the building and toward her home. Sometimes she wondered if she was getting too old – she didn’t seem to be handling it like some of the other supes – but it was hardly something that Wayland needed to hear her talk about.
Wayland just sighed, mystified why the woman bothered about him so much. He’d nothing to offer her, and she could gain nothing from him that other slaves couldn’t give too. Walking with her towards her home, the human kept his eyes on her, just watching her move as if that could help him solve why she cared about him.

“I’d say your selling yourself short but I think you’re mostly giving me an ego boost.” Tobias smirked and smiled to the human, he already knew that Wayland was lacking in self confidence, but that was part of the fun for him, he could build him up and take him down whenever he wanted, but mostly, he hoped he could build him up in the bedroom and make sure James couldn’t deny he’d picked a good slave.
“Now that just sounds like plain flattery, what did I do to deserve this?” he teased and closed the gap between them till his arm was around Wayland’s waist “I’ll go shopping for you tomorrow, but tonight I’m already starting to imagine how we can improve this light sweat you’ve got on you.” The glowing sheen on Waylands skin was making him more than a little aroused.
Wayland smiled softly at the statement before shrugging. “Whereas I’d say I’m giving you an ego boost while evaluating myself rather fairly. But hey, I’ve been wrong plenty of times before.’ The human was glad to see the demon smiling and playful, not at all realizing the need to prove him a wise choice at all. The demon himself had already distracted Wayland from his dark thoughts.
“Nothin. Just being you. I’m just running my mouth I guess.” Wayland was surprised when the demon stepped in closer and touched him, about to apologize for being sweaty when Tobias spoke again. He was rewarded with a deep blush from the slave, Wayland rubbing the back of his neck. “Oh, yeah? I mean, I am dirty. I can wash up before if you want...” He didn’t see how he could be attractive at sweaty and pretty dirty, but if it was what the demon wanted he wasn’t going to argue.

murderousxfae:
The Fae gave him a small smirk, very happy to meet Wayland finally, and unable to contain it. “You know you shouldn’t actually say that to people right? I mean, it’s kind of insulting.” he chuckled and gave the other slave a nod “Yeah, that’s me.” he winked “You don’t have a collar like mine, so let me guess, Demon went and branded you? Where? I think I would of done it on your pelvic bone, and I’d probably nip at it every night.” God, if only Felix could have a slave, he would love it, but as much as he could tease and twist James around his finger, he doubted he could convince him to buy him his own slave.
“I mean, of course it’s insulting, but it’s what we are? Why bother sugar-coating it.’ Wayland shrugged, admittedly unsure about the other’s smirking. It was a bit unnerving but he did his best not to be bothered. Rolling up his right sleeve he showed the brand on his wrist, just a simple crest of sorts. “Yeah. And pelvic bone is a bit uncomfortable to show other questioning masters if someone wasn’t to believe my word that I was claimed.” The human studied the other, admittedly seeing why James would like him. Much brighter and easy going than Wayland himself was.

Wayland was just wandering the city as he was apt to do in his free time, not wanting to just hang around the house all the time. It was weird, not having too many particular things to do, though Wayland still managed to keep productive. He wasn’t expecting someone to approach him, the human eyeing the friendly man warily. “Yes, that’s me. I can’t say I’ve heard of you...” he took the offered hand with a firm shake before nodding. “Ah, you’re Mr. O’Shea’s slave, yes?”

Felix smiled to himself when he saw the slave, for a moment, he wasn’t even sure it was Wayland, he hadnt’ actually formally met the other slave, but he definitely remembered seeing him on the arm of his masters demon lover. There was a growing smirk as he walked across the street and to the other, a human, which meant he’d probably been picked from the wasteland, raw and untamed. “It’s Wayland right? I’ve been dying to meet you.” he really had and the fae held out his hand with a small chuckled “I’m Felix. Your master knows mine.”

“Worrying about me is a waste of emotion. I’ll be dead before long anyways, in the blink of an eye even if I live till I’m 80 to someone immortal like you.” Wayland smiled softly, looking over at her. “You getting in trouble for the likes of me is absolutely unthinkable.” He glanced over at her with a shrug. “And that sounds delightful.” Glancing down at his phone, he relaxed a bit at the response. “Tobias said it’s alright.”
wayland-carter·:
Wayland’s brow furrowed at the odd lingering thought, but he didn’t ask, figuring if she’d wanted him to know it she would’ve finished her sentence. “I can text and let him know now.” Pulling out his phone he quickly sent the other man a message, letting him know where he was and making sure the demon was alright with it. “Better safe than sorry. Don’t need you getting in trouble cause of me.”
“I worry more for you than myself, darling.” There was truth in that, although she was certainly keen to avoid problems for herself too. That other lifetime would have been far simpler. If only. She held out a hand for him to take, “C’mon. You must have worked up an appetite… and it won’t hurt to give your muscles a soak.” And perhaps selfishly, she wanted the intimacy that came with his soak.

The demon smiled at the other man, wondering why that sigh happened, where it came from, he watched the humans features, trying to decipher them. “Then I’ll make sure I buy you all of it.” he replied and smiled at the slave. “Perhaps I’ll buy two, I’m sure an expert like you will have me shooting like a pro in no time.” Though really, Tobias had no need for weapons.
Wayland chuckled a little, nodding. “Thank you. I’m sure you’ll be shooting like a pro as soon as you touch a bow, but I can still pretend to teach you. Though I’m sure you have no use for the skill...you are an all powerful demon after all.”

“Well, I’ll qualify that I am likely at least a little bit dumb. And sure.” He sighed, looking down at his feet a moment. Every time he got relaxed with the demon he was reminded of his position, which ultimately was on him he supposed. “I could use one. I can use it with or without, but yes, they can be rather painful. “. Wayland smiled a little at the demand of teaching, nodding. “Sure.”
wayland-carter·:
He ran a hand through his hair and smiled genuinely, noting the others mild thought for his happiness. “Thank you. Really. I definitely wouldn’t have a weapon without you Tobias. I may not be the smartest, but I’m not quite that dumb.”
Tobias smiled, watching the slave, admiring how good he looked, just a little sweaty, enough a beautiful sheen to his skin, and a slight pink tint to his cheeks. “Oh I know you’re not dumb Wayland, and I know you’ll thank me when and if I tell you to.” he replied and smirked at the human “Do you need an arm guard too, I hear bows can sting quite well.” he said and gave a small shrug “You’ll have to teach me, it’s not something I’ve ever tried if I’m honest.”

“In another lifetime, darling…” She murmured before letting the thought trail off without really explaining it. Audrey shook her head slightly and returned the smile. “C’mon then darling, let’s get you out of here. I suppose we can call Tobias once we’re at my home. I don’t want to overstep any boundaries.” Surprisingly more for his sake than her own, even though it factored in too. Whatever response he got, she could at least cook for him and try to keep his mind preoccupied.
